I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to this rehab center and its staff. No, it’s not a luxury retreat or a spa-like setting—but neither is prison, or worse, the morgue. This place is about recovery, not comfort, and I believe they are doing exactly what they’re meant to do: helping people get their lives back. The staff was kind, dedicated, and truly cared. My son's father recently completed treatment here, and while he shared that it was incredibly tough—physically, emotionally, and mentally—he also said it was nothing compared to the pain of being out on the streets, lost in his addiction. Recovery isn’t supposed to be easy. If it were, addiction wouldn’t be so hard to beat. I’ve seen some reviews criticizing the center for not giving constant updates to family members. I get it—when someone we love is in pain, we want answers, we want involvement, we want to help. But part of the healing process means letting go of that need to control. We didn't have control when our loved ones were in active addiction, and recovery is no different. The program is designed to build independence, accountability, and internal strength. Constant calls, questions, and attempts to interfere, even with good intentions, can undermine that. Trust the process. Let the professionals do their job. It’s not always comfortable—but neither is addiction. Discomfort is part of growth, and growth is what this place is all about. If you're looking for somewhere that offers real recovery—not coddling, but healing—this is it. Let them work, and give your loved one the space to fight for their own life.

Sacred Heart started me on my recovery journey giving me the tools I needed to get sober and stay sober. I hit my 90 days sober in about 2 weeks, and I couldn’t be more happy or proud. I’m so, so, so grateful for what Sacred Heart did for me. Shout out to staff Leslie, Trish, Jessica, Tom, Johnny, Margaret, Joe and Tom#2, Elizabeth, nurses Jane and Jim.. the therapists are amazing (all of them except Maria, she’s awful) the peer recovery coaches are amazing, love the nursing staff, y’all took good care of us. I love you all and maybe I’ll come back one day to help my fellow addicts. Anyone thinking of getting sober and trying to find a good rehab, this is the one, you won’t regret it!!

Kediz house is so amazing the staff treat you with respect (Ms Debra) Mrs (Monet) and the supervisor (MR Eddie )and (MS Karen)( Ms Patricia )Ms Judy)are very down to earth.. the only thing the staff asked for you to be very serious about your recovery plan and I love their structure at this place drugs tested is every day and housing is available if u serious about your business and the food is good if chef Wayne cook 10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First City Recovery Center is an awesome place with friendly staff, caretakers, and administrators supporting individuals through education and providing resources &to recover from the world of addiction. I would highly recommend this very clean and friendly environment for yourself, loved ones and friends.

So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside. Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! First City, thank you for giving me my life back & my children their mother back. My husband his wife. We love y’all. 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫡

Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

This place helped me save my own life and I am truly grateful for everyone here. Amber is an amazing case manager that handled my case with intent and urgency in every way. Every staff member including Jeff treated me as if they personally cared about me, because they did and it showed.

This time around ..FCRC was fantastic....I love this place and the staff was the best....I appreciate everything.....I would recommend this place to anyone who needs recovery help....I'm gonna miss you guys

I went here about 6 years ago. I don't know if the Staffing is the same at this time as I haven't been in touch with them since then. In November I'll be 6 years clean. I'm in a place I never thought I'd be. I find myself having all the things I struggled to attain in the past. If I never attended here who knows where I'd be. Thank you Heartland.

Terrible experience with abusive therapist, scheduling issues and billing issues. I cannot think of anything positive to say about this organization.

I've had nothing but the upmost positive experience here. Every Dr I've seen has been so kind and caring with my son. They have done nothing but help us with the struggles and questions and have helped with answering them. They have nothing but respect and admiration from me and my son.

I have a great therapist named Greg & Lindsey the medication psych NP is just as great ! I've only had good experiences the last 3yrs I've been with them .

An excellent place to go if you have an out of control addiction and need help. Or if you just fell off and need a hand getting back up. Friendly staff, smoke breaks, ample time to socialize and work out our problems amongst ourselves... the place is amazing. And welcoming to people that return. We can't all always get it right on the first go around. Sometimes it takes two, three, four... hell, even thirty tries. But admitting that there's a problem and working to fix it is the first step. And this place is an excellent resource if you need that kind of help. I'm also an atheist. If you're worried about going to a church-affiliated group, don't be. They take a light touch with religion (mostly stuff in the daily readings), and try to be open to everyone. Same goes for LGBTQ+ folk: this is a safe place. If you need help, these folks are who you need to get started

After completing inpatient rehabilitation, I transitioned into the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Parkdale Center and I can say with my whole heart that it was one of the most life-changing and soul-healing experiences I’ve ever had. Parkdale didn’t just help me continue my recovery, they helped me to continue to find myself again. But what makes Parkdale truly exceptional are people like Rigo and Claudia. They treated me not like a number or a case, but like family. There was zero judgment, only humility, kindness, and an unwavering belief in my potential. Rigo felt like a steady big brother, firm when needed, but always full of heart. Claudia radiates warmth and made me feel safe, seen, and cared for in a way that felt almost sacred. These two, and so many others at Parkdale (like Dr. Chris, Denise, Ty, David) restored my faith in people and reminded me that recovery is possible when you’re surrounded by those who genuinely care. Parkdale is the best at what they do because they combine clinical excellence with human connection. Their program isn’t just about sobriety, it’s about rebuilding your life with dignity, strength, and purpose. If someone I love ever needed help, Parkdale is the place I would trust. DR. SARAH VERBEEK is PHENOMENAL and exactly what families need as far as a provider!! This particular doctor goes ABOVE & BEYOND expectations! She listens to you & answers all questions or concerns that I have with my children’s best interest as her first priority! Thank You from the bottom of my heart Dr. Verbeek- you help make parenting that much easier 🤍 -also, Caroline that runs the office is amazing! She makes it a priority that her office runs smoothly & efficiently! Anytime I need to get my children into see their doctor, she makes it happen!

Great service, staff is very friendly. My needs were met beyond my expectations. Front desk service goes above and beyond their job to make sure clients needs are met. I highly recommend this location. It’s also very clean and welcoming.
