I attended the virtual IOP with Trish and really had a wonderful experience. The content was revenant and thorough and just some worksheets to kill time and take your money. Trish was knowledgeable, kind, and patient without being a pushover. I had been to lots of other places in lots of areas but this IOP experience, I feel, really started me on the road to recovery which I couldn’t even fathom when I started. Thank you so much to the virtual IOP people, especially Trish!

Was here for about a month. It's not a perfect experience, but it was mostly good for me. Logan and Malia (Malea? Sorry if I misspelled.) are literal angels on earth. Kacey (Casey?) is the tough love girlie and helped me a lot on my first day. Most of the techs and nurses are kind and personable. The doctors listened to me and promptly adjusted when meds were or weren't working. I enjoyed the group and art therapy programs. Couldn't bring myself to do music therapy (didn't wanna cry lol). The food was great, thank you to the team in the kitchen. I knock off a star for personal reasons. Being that, sometimes, loud or irate patients are not dealt with. I come from a childhood of abuse, so yelling triggers me. However, I was quickly put in another room when a roommate of mine didn't make me feel safe. I appreciate the techs listening to me, but realize that may not be everyone's experience if all the beds are filled. Overall, a mostly good experience for what a mental health facility can be.

This would be my second time at river bend , When faced with the decision on which place I would seek treatment at , The only place I truly knew I would get help at was river bend . The staff there are so kind and respectful. They truly understand that no one wants to be there so they do their best to make it a better experience for everyone. I spent Easter at river bend and I am so thankful for the staff who truly cared and found ways to make the day a good one. Shout out to Corey for always be a good staff and making my experience at river bend a positive one and to Mindy (not sure how to spell names) for being an awesome staff and hiding Easter eggs for us and of course Ali for being an excellent nurse and advocating for me! I went to the ARC program here. Which is the addiction unit and it absolutely changed my life. The staff were absolutely amazing. Some of them are still major parts of my life and my recovery. I couldn’t be more blessed for my time spent there . Such an amazing place . The therapist were perfect. The leadership was perfect. I don’t have one complaint. And I gave them a run for their money and they never stopped showing me love and support. Thank you for saving my life !❤️

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... Grant’s wife here…Rebecca. I had experienced excruciating chest pain while having dinner in Kokomo. Called 911. Kokomo fire dept and ambulance service were great. Howard Community ER provided excellent care as well. I was able to go home pain free, and I had answers as well to possible cause. Very thankful for care provided! Doctor and nurses, and other staff members , were professional, smart, compassionate, and tolerant ….especially when I felt so anxious with this pain.
