I know it's weird to say that I would miss this treatment facility Residential Heartland/Gilman. I would not be honest from the very beginning. Staff was attentive and warm towards shame and guilt. Shout out to The Nurses and Bht's, kitchen staff. If it weren't for this place who knows. Silas, Maggie Mike and Heather. And Kevin, Kimber. Kayla. Ash,Ty, Christian. And Todd. I had a great experience at Banyan Heartland, upon going in I was struggling very much but gained hope and confidence quick. I loved the people and the housing and food was great. Heather the case manager, and Randy the therapist were the best and very helpful. Banyan also helped my family learn and understand recovery and improved all our relationships

I have never had any issues what so ever and I've been going here for 2 years now. I still am clean going on 5 years total now. Zero relapses. Sophia has gone above and beyond when it comes to my care. even seeing me when I just walked in the door today without an appointment. I've been lucky to have such amazing care. If all Dr.s and Nurses acted like her I think addiction in this country would be almost non existent.

Amazing staff here like the RN Amy, the Social Worker Onka I believe is how you spell it, Adam and Mandi the techs, Dr. O and so many others! Gentle suggestion: more classical music and peaceful or positive shows on the TV (ghost rider was constantly showing because of one resident), a spiritual care department for those that need religious support and one on one counseling instead of just group therapy! Lastly a special kudos to the RN named Michelle who was totally awesome!!! Can you please thank her??

During an unexpected involuntary admission, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this facility was compared to others I have seen in my career/personal experience. This is primarily a place to be safe, not "solve" your problems; there is little actual therapy, which is not abnormal for hospitalizations. You have to be mindful of other patients, and not let them hinder your experience. Never did I feel that my safety was in danger, rather, it was the opposite; I felt safer than I ever had before. The experience is truly what you make of it. Should I ever enter a crises again, I would choose Riverbend.

This would be my second time at river bend , When faced with the decision on which place I would seek treatment at , The only place I truly knew I would get help at was river bend . The staff there are so kind and respectful. They truly understand that no one wants to be there so they do their best to make it a better experience for everyone. I spent Easter at river bend and I am so thankful for the staff who truly cared and found ways to make the day a good one. Shout out to Corey for always be a good staff and making my experience at river bend a positive one and to Mindy (not sure how to spell names) for being an awesome staff and hiding Easter eggs for us and of course Ali for being an excellent nurse and advocating for me! Also shout out Dixie for talking to me and just being an amazing nurse! Night shift tech Victoria is so kind and caring so shout out to her also . I successfully completed the IOP portion of my treatment and truly valued the insight gained during that time. While I have transitioned into Continuing Care, I find myself hesitant to move toward graduation because of the invaluable support I receive from my counselor, Mechelle. Cory and Lauren we're great. Both very understating, and easy to talk with. Prices were affordable.They helped make an uncomfortable situation comfortable. The front desk staff is very professional understanding and friendly. These people really are there to help without any judgment. Believe me they have seen and heard it all so if you find yourself in a situation where you should see counseling do not hesitate to be open and honest with them.
