The meadowview location is wonderful!! They are very understanding and they work with you if there is a scheduling conflict. And the counselors are the best I have seen in a long time. Krystle especially is great!!

My conditions are quite severe; as I say so myself. I have been in and out of psychiatrists and therapists since 1990 (age 3). Countless diagnoses, countless disappointments. I admit I can be a lot to handle, I push all buttons I can when I am having an episode.
However, this office and ALL of its staff (including the crisis line) is more than qualified and caring to help even the most severe cases.
Every time I’ve been in the office, spoken in person or on the phone, they show nothing but respect and empathy. Even in moments when a regular person would yell back, they stay calm. They even provide help in between visits! I’ve never had a facility that accepts state aid be so amazingly helpful.
32 years old and this office must have been sent from heaven; because in 24 years of being mentally ill, I have finally find doctors who genuinely want to see their patients get better.

I have been seeing my psychiatrist there for 3 years. Dr. Godbolt is great! She takes her time and has given me a new hope on life. NOW, The after hours answering service is another story! They rarely pass your message to your Dr. They are very disrespectful. I just called the answering service a few minutes ago. I have terrible insomnia and I've been awake for 3 days. I'm hallucinating because I have been up for so long. At first she was not going to contact my doctor because she said they don't do psychiatry after hours.. what is that? Then I told her that I have been awake for 3 days and I am starting to hallucinate and she said hold on came back two minutes later and said you know what just call back at 8:30 in the morning that's all I can do for you. Something just doesn't seem right there

I finally found a great doctor's office...NP Shan Brown is an amazing person incredibly understanding and knowledgeable the nurse that took me to the back is great and the receptionists are very professional and friendly, I've been there twice with no more then a 5 min wait..this place is amazing compared to any other aunt Martha's I've been to!

Absolutely awful establishment. If I could give zero stars I would!!!! I previously went to a different location for an evaluation around 2 years ago. Apparently that location is closed now. So I have been trying to get into this Peoria location to get an update on my previous one. After FINALLY getting through on the phone after months of being told to call back, they set an appt. An hour before the appt they called and cancelled (mind you, it’s a 40 min drive and I was already on my way.) She told me to come in that same day at 430, I did.. no one was there. They rescheduled for the next week and once again, I showed up and waited for 30 min just to be told she was going to reschedule AGAIN. Mind you, I could hear her on the phone inside including her entire conversation.. with the sign saying closed on the front door. I knocked and knocked with no answer. I finally heard the latch click and she unlocked the door. It was already 30 min past our appt time at this point. I sit down and wait more, after getting inside. The lady’s boyfriend showed up and she left with him instead of completing the appt she had scheduled with me. Unprofessional is too nice of a word for this establishment. Go anywhere else but here!!! I am nothing short of FURIOUS after this experience!!! Absolutely disgusting that this is a place of business, they should be ashamed!!!!!! I have been trying to do what I can to improve my situation and this was an absolute waste of my time, money, and effort.

I had never been to rehab before. I told Myself I would be able to get Myself better by Myself. It doesn't work that way. I went to Branden House and they helped me so much more than I thought I needed. It's hard at first... Discipline and withdrawal. I had a hard time everyday at first trying to not cry but they all welcomed my healing tears. I feel so much better about society today knowing that there is places like this with caring people out there for struggling people such as myself. God bless Branden House.

This would be my second time at river bend , When faced with the decision on which place I would seek treatment at , The only place I truly knew I would get help at was river bend . The staff there are so kind and respectful. They truly understand that no one wants to be there so they do their best to make it a better experience for everyone. I’d give zero stars but I can’t. Prior resident here. This place is the scourge of the earth. The staff do not care whatsoever about the wellbeing of the residents. They allow the floor bullies to run rampant and only step in when the victims of the bullies react, almost always punishing the victims of the bully instead of the source of the problem. The staff are abusive, vindictive, manipulative, spiteful and shouldn’t be anywhere near children. This place is a failure of a government establishment. The worst kinds of people exist and work here and my experience living here was hell. I gained a tremendous amount of weight while living here due to the terrible diet they serve the residents mixed with poor medication. I’ve since lost most of that weight. This place is an absolute disgrace and the epitome and epicenter of complete and total incompetence.

Some of the therapists are nice, and you can tell they care but I don't think they're really good at their jobs. When I had better insurance I got better treatment and had more impactful sessions from another therapist.
The psychiatrists also suck. All they try to do is put you on medication but they don't listen to how you feel. I said I get seasonal depression in spring and she laughed and asked "Why it's nice out." Didn't seemed interested in diagnosing me with anything so that she could treat it, just threw medicine at symptoms. I guess it's alright if it's all you can afford. The people are nice.

The outpatient program at Rosecrance has been invaluable to my recovery. Dominique demonstrates an authentic commitment to helping me, and others in the group, maintain our sobriety. Whether it is through therapeutic programming, providing resources to enable our recovery, or just simply by helping navigate confusing financial aid forms, she is all in and wants to see her clients succeed. When Steve has had to fill in, on days Dominique was not here, he did the same. They both really just seem to care…but also hold you accountable if you are not helping yourself. The culture of this program has allowed me the opportunity to really get to know other clients in this programs as well. The friendships I have developed here will stay in my heart forever.

Although I was in the schedule for my surgery the times I was getting was 12pm,then 5pm, then 7pm. My surgery didn’t start till maybe 6pm but I was prepped at 8-9am long time to wait huh. Well I was a little frustrated but I got over it after I finally was getting told I was goin back. I got to meet my little girl downside of the whole thing was they were always short staffed on labor and delivery floor so things were either slow or just never came but other than that you guys did a great job i was done with my surgery very quickly, the anesthesiologist talked me thru everything to reassure not was I comfortable but ok before anything became a issue the music selection for my surgery was tea🤏🏾🤏🏾 I got to song along for my surgery which was a 10/10😫😊&& my Ob/doctor was amazing real big shoutout to her!!!! My daughter is healthy and I got to choice when I wanted to go home😊🤞🏾

This place pulled me outta a dark spot. I came in feelin’ like death 🤕, but they knew exactly what to do. The detox part? Rough. But they had me in a clean bed , checking on me non-stop. Felt safe for once.They don’t sugarcoat things, but they don’t treat you like garbage either. Just solid care, real help, and a team that actually gives a damn .

I was in Suncloud’s Residential, PHP, and IOP program for 5 months and it changed the course of my life. When I went in I was suffering from anxiety, depression, severe substance abuse, grief, and trauma. Today I am 5 months sober from alcohol, weed, marijuana, and nicotine, I’m enrolled in school, go to the gym, and am working towards my career. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life but I’m thankful I put in the work and showed up everyday. The staff here are some of the most compassionate, hardworking, and dedicated people and I’m so thankful to them for helping me navigate the good, the bad, and the CONFUSING parts of recovery. The waiting times are ridiculous and the receptionist couldn't care less. It seems like some of the staff really care and try to help you whenever they can. But even then it's not worth it for the mediocre treatment they provide.

Thank goodness all the nurses left, now clients get to have their critical medical needs taken care of by well meaning, unqualified, underpaid, over worked home staff. Thanks AID for proving nursing school is a joke and that anyone can learn how to administer medication through an Instagram live video. I have even started to apply this logic to my own daily life and finally got my mail person to administer my enemas and suppositories after I forced them to watch a video of my neighbor doing theirs. Now I don't have to pay my physician to do that. So if you care about your family members but don't want your agency to spend too much money on things like ACTUAL NURSES or PROPER MEDICAL TRAINING, AID is the perfect place. It's refreshing to see a non profit so driven by finances and the bottom line instead of actual care and patient connections. I honestly think the more money you pay to trained medical staff leads to higher rates of medical issues. I looked at a highlighter and felt my blood sugar lower, thanks AID.

This place is absolutely useless. Over 6 months (not including the months it took for them to reply to my messages when I initially contacted them), 2 caseworkers and 1 therapist, and they have done nothing in any way, shape or form to help improve my situation. They string me along to the next appointment so they can fill their quota and bill the insurance. Making empty promises and never ever following through on what they say they're going to do. Months go by where they don't reply to emails, texts and voicemails. In the end, my situation is actually worse off then it was in the beginning, because of their incompetency. They have done nothing but waste my time and gas money (hard to come by being homeless with no income). I jumped through every single hoop they asked me to, filling out endless forms, sending emails, making phone calls and going to appointments that yield no results. Their left hands never know what their right hands are doing. Avoid AID like the plague. Thanks for nothing.
