I had never been to rehab before. I told Myself I would be able to get Myself better by Myself. It doesn't work that way. I went to Branden House and they helped me so much more than I thought I needed. It's hard at first... Discipline and withdrawal. I had a hard time everyday at first trying to not cry but they all welcomed my healing tears. I have been seeing my psychiatrist there for 3 years. Dr. Godbolt is great! She takes her time and has given me a new hope on life. NOW, The after hours answering service is another story! They rarely pass your message to your Dr. They are very disrespectful. I just called the answering service a few minutes ago. I have terrible insomnia and I've been awake for 3 days. I'm hallucinating because I have been up for so long. At first she was not going to contact my doctor because she said they don't do psychiatry after hours.. what is that? Then I told her that I have been awake for 3 days and I am starting to hallucinate and she said hold on came back two minutes later and said you know what just call back at 8:30 in the morning that's all I can do for you. Something just doesn't seem right there

I finally found a great doctor's office...NP Shan Brown is an amazing person incredibly understanding and knowledgeable the nurse that took me to the back is great and the receptionists are very professional and friendly, I've been there twice with no more then a 5 min wait..this place is amazing compared to any other aunt Martha's I've been to!

I've gone to a few different clinics in Illinois and California. This is the best! When i moved back to the state, I came back here, even though it's an hour drive and there are closer clinics. The staff here are all amazing. From the receptionist to the counselors, LPNs, Nurse Practioners and the Doctors, everyone is very friendly and supportive. Service is generally pretty quick, though some days might take a little longer. As long as you do what you need to do to get yourself better, they will work with you, support you and you will quickly earn codes so you don't have to come as often. As for price? It's about the same as any private pay clinic. Actually, now that they now offer a cash discount it might be less, AND they take insurance including Illinois medicaid. Truly, I owe a lot to Recovery Concepts. I struggled off and on for YEARS until I found them. Now I have 8 years, and I know it couldn't have been done without them.

I attended their 28 residential program in late 2012 and early 2013. I actually asked to stay longer and was allowed to. I've been sober since and today I am at 12 years, 3 months and 16 days. I am extremely grateful for them and the grant that allowed me to attend at a lower cost because I didn't have medical insurance. Of course I didn't right? I had nothing. By the time I came here I was at my personal bottom. I'm still in therapy and working on my recovery daily. Is this place perfect? No. But it's gives you a good foundation to BEGIN your recovery. Here as with any other place or person with addiction experience will tell you recovery never ends. So if you're looking for a quick fix to addiction issues this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a place where most of the people there genuinely care and you want a good place to start your recovery then this is absolutely the place for you. Over a decade later I'm living on my own, I now own my own business and have a few genuinely caring and good friends. Thank you South Suburban! My love for my child is immeasurable, and it has been heart-wrenching to witness her struggle with addiction, which significantly impacted her life. I had previously attempted to persuade her to seek rehabilitation, but she consistently resisted and even left facilities upon admission. However, during her time at South Suburban Counsel, the dedicated counselors, Nicole and Keith, were instrumental in encouraging her to remain and pursue her healing journey. Although the environment is quite strict and certain freedoms, such as smoking cigarettes, are restricted, these measures are ultimately for the benefit of the individuals seeking help. Therefore, I urge anyone facing addiction challenges to consider this facility and adhere to its guidelines. It has the potential to transform your life and help you realize the future you deserve. Wonderful experience, even out my poor choices. Very insightful and educational anti-addiction services for court mandates. They were very accommodating with my hectic work schedule and inability to drive. They fees were reasonable, too. I felt very welcomed there.

I've been visiting Access Clinic for 20 years and they've always been the best. I've met so many respectful people and, most of all, their services are very brave and their doctors are very good. I highly recommend them 100% because I feel without a doubt it's the best clinic. Yesterday I had a very beautiful experience with a new doctor and she made me feel so good, calm, and confident that I loved her. The staff were extremely pleasant it was my first time visiting. It took some time for me to select who I wanted as my new primary care physician and when I met her, I was extremely happy. Dr. Knazze was very thorough and explained everything to me instead of just throwing information at me.

I have options and I am glad I went with this clinic. From the minute I walked, and they greeted me as if I was family.. the front desk staff the nurses the doctors were all helpful with my visit and gave me information for free fruits and vegetables. I really felt my voice was heard with all my medical conditions. I heard a big laugh in the hallway come to find out it was the manager there, she was so funny and making everybody laugh that she bought joy to everybody there, and all the other patients as well. these employees get five stars through Google, but in my personal opinion get 10..

I don't know what these other reviews are even about!! I was a patient in the Chrysalis program. The program did me wonders and I still try to call them whenever I can. It takes effort and commitment. It is a place for everyone, as long as you are going to try. They do treat you human, with clothes, hygiene, LOTS OF SUPPORT, and food. In the Chrysalis program, you get your clothes taken away and are required to wear nurse scrubs, eventually, you are able to gain the PRIVILEGES you have back. I went into this program at the lowest I have ever been, ready to end everything, but this program taught me a sense of commitment and that I have to work for what I want. This program, I will forever be thankful for. The staff was strict but so loving. I was welcomed into a family there that I will always be a part of no matter what. I loved this program and recommend it to everyone.

My mom was admitted for a month and spent time in ICU, cardio-neuro and rehab. Every single staff member we encountered was kind, compassionate, collaborative and very competent. That includes the ER staff, doctors, nurses of all levels, physical, occupational and speech therapists, food service personnel and cleaning staff. Everyone. I was a little apprehensive due to some past experiences in ER (mostly having to do with wait times) and reading reviews, but I could not be happier with mom's treatment.
