The stay staff all are hand picked the greatest. Counselors are all one of a kind especially if u get Mrs cora ball of energy and motivation that she and others do care or Steve called my probation officer and help you get off probation concerned checking in on me the staff there want to see everyone who there that it possible to overcome anything we may have faced let it go and don't give up on our selves . Rated the 100 miss my fgc family even pres me prince understanding and encouraging nurses are the best ever also. They offer recovery home as well.fiod good to miss Kathleen and Eric.there drivers they are encouraging uplifting and motivation.

My experience here was a learning experience and they have a lot of good hearted people here when I was there in 2011. I didn’t always feel comfortable with talking with certain people. But I was able to meet good people who helped me learn more about myself and teach me how to communicate better and take responsibility and control my emotions. The Joliet Symetria location saved my life!! What a great bunch of people!! They work with you, and guide you through everything!! Heck Tonette even got me an Uber one time because my car was broke down and I was going to miss my dosing. I have been seeing my psychiatrist there for 3 years. Dr. Godbolt is great! She takes her time and has given me a new hope on life. NOW, The after hours answering service is another story! They rarely pass your message to your Dr. They are very disrespectful. I just called the answering service a few minutes ago. I have terrible insomnia and I've been awake for 3 days. I'm hallucinating because I have been up for so long. At first she was not going to contact my doctor because she said they don't do psychiatry after hours.. what is that? Then I told her that I have been awake for 3 days and I am starting to hallucinate and she said hold on came back two minutes later and said you know what just call back at 8:30 in the morning that's all I can do for you. Something just doesn't seem right there

I have been going there for 7 years. This place literally saved my life. They are very understanding and work with you on many levels. I moved and I can go to the clinic by me but I drive the 60 miles every month to go there to get my meds.This was the only thing that worked for me and thank God it did.

I love it here it’s like my own personal family. The staff is great. But recently it's a problem with the insurance they say I have to pay $20 weekly because my insurance didn't pay but they have not given me proof of the months not paid I have my proof. But yet I have to wait and see there proof it's been almost 30 days now I have been paying that's not legal and on top of that they have billed 2 of my insurance

Riverside is the best medical mental health facility I have ever stayed in in my life. My mother was beaten real bad and I was traumatized very bad. I slept in the bathroom and they were very patient with me. I learned a lot of coping skills with my mental health as well as skills that I still use today. The outpatient team was awesome and if I could put an awareness on people on the staff that were there when I was there. . My dad was admitted to Riverside for hallucinations and memory concerns. The nurses, doctors, and other staff members did an amazing job with him. They kept in constant touch with me via phone calls or in person and were very thoughtful listeners when we asked questions. He stayed for about 10 days and he thought his stay was very beneficial. He was in the geriatric unit. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to other elderly people who are having similar concerns as my dad. Thank you, Riverside.

Overall this was the best labor and delivery experience I have had. Out of the 4 births of my children.. this was my best experience as far caring nurses who tried their hardest to keep me comfortable... and for as much pain as I was in they definitely didn't mind my attitude and mood swings and being a horrible cry baby.. 10 out of 10 for the entire staff. And especially the special care nursery nurses who have been caring for my son .. who was suppose to be a girl! It was quite a ride. And I'm glad I chose St Joe's.. 🤍🖤💙

If you know how to follow some simple rules & are genuinely serious about getting off opiates Duane Dean will save your life. It saved mine 17 years ago. Victoria is a fantastic nurse. You have to remember what she's dealing with. Junkies that are always trying to bend rules, manipulate people & drug tests, argue or just act immature. If your serious about recovery go to Duane Dean. If you think Methadone is "withdrawal insurance" don't waste everyone's time, stay on the street. It's not easy, but if your reading this,, it's probably time. Being a functional Junkie isn't easy either. Good Luck!!

IF you genuinely want help and are going to put in the work this place is a good place with various resources to assist people in various aspects of their lives. They provide the tools needed to live a sober life but YOU have to want it. Someone stated in a review it's an "addicts market", and I will say there are people there who are not serious in treatment and/or might only be there because they are forced and they do use the place to make more connections unfortunately. But again if you want the help and are serious about treatment this facility can and will provide you the tools to succeed. No one but YOU can do the work though. They offer groups Monday - Saturday (Parenting on Thursdays) and the groups are very helpful and beneficial (in my experience). Most of the staff are very professional, supportive, and caring.

Highly recommend. I imagine if you are reading this review that you are looking for care for yourself or a loved one. When I was recently in that position, I was scared to death. The staff are kind and understanding. Once I got to visit my loved one there I was put at ease and felt confident we were getting the help and support we needed. They have a schedule that they stick to, which is a great variety of therapy, meeting with a psychiatrist, and group therapy. We got sent home with resources and a direction of help to improve our situation. I am thankful.
