I cant believe this place is still around. I was here almost 20 years ago. I am now a sober member of Alcoholics anonymous and life is wonderful. I wish I could go back and talk to myself during this time in my life. Recovery is a life second to none!

I had never been to rehab before. I told Myself I would be able to get Myself better by Myself. It doesn't work that way. I went to Branden House and they helped me so much more than I thought I needed. It's hard at first... Discipline and withdrawal. I had a hard time everyday at first trying to not cry but they all welcomed my healing tears. I feel so much better about society today knowing that there is places like this with caring people out there for struggling people such as myself. God bless Branden House.
My experience here was a learning experience and they have a lot of good hearted people here when I was there in 2011. I didn’t always feel comfortable with talking with certain people. But I was able to meet good people who helped me learn more about myself and teach me how to communicate better and take responsibility and control my emotions. I wish I could find the staff and thank them in person I’m truly grateful to them.

I was in residential here for 3 years. I will never forget the impact it had on my mental health, as well as my ability to recover and transition back into the world. My recovery has been nothing but a complete success. Thank you to all of the staff there! You guys have truly changed my life.

I’m in Cindy Fishers IOP and it is by far the best IOP that I have been in. It has helped me so much! I find myself using everything I learn in her class. She is a great counselor and a great example!
When I came to Symetria I was fairly depressed about my abuse of alcohol. I knew it wasn’t who I truly was and I needed the help to recognize positive ways to help me identify what I was doing that put me into a downward cycle of binge drinking. Through the Intensive Outpatient program coupled with Individual counseling and attending SMART meetings I discovered a clear path to follow to stop what I was doing and move forward in life without alcohol. I’m proud to say I’m coming up on 4 months completely alcohol free and it feels amazing! The staff at Symetria absolutely cares about each individual’s success and they put the person first. Not once did I feel like I was being judged or categorized. If you need help Symetria is the place to go!

I am so thankful for this clinic and especially the workers (Jessica , Elsa , Erin and Maria) I want to thank you guys for all the hard work you guys do, also for always being nice , comforting and supportive. Also I cannot forget the front desk I also want to Thank Debra and Zoeyyyy for always calling me checking up on me and making sure I have a ride to my appointment.

The Staff at Symetria Recovery ( Deborah, Anna , Maria, Elsa , etc..) all treat their patients like family. They are all so Caring, Loving and Supportive. That makes the road to recovery that much easier. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone thats struggling with any kind of substance abuse.

My Husband, Riley, wanted me to write a review for this location. He was sent to follow up on VA disability claims and found it to be extremely helpful. Not only were the staff members in good spirits but asked questions and really seemed to care. He was very impressed and Highly recommends!
I went here about 6 years ago. I don't know if the Staffing is the same at this time as I haven't been in touch with them since then. In November I'll be 6 years clean. I'm in a place I never thought I'd be. I find myself having all the things I struggled to attain in the past. If I never attended here who knows where I'd be. Thank you Heartland.

I am so grateful for the entire staff of Heartland. At some of my families toughest moments, they were there to help support in all the ways that they would. I have had the unfortunate need to seek treatment for a family member and this is the place I would always recommend for any family I know. From a Mom who has been there..Heartland is a place to trust.
This place saved my friends life. He was addicted to crack and suicidal. Now only a few months later he's employed, has a vehicle and is helping others get their lives back and stay on the right track. Thank God for this place.

I have been seeing my psychiatrist there for 3 years. Dr. Godbolt is great! She takes her time and has given me a new hope on life. NOW, The after hours answering service is another story! They rarely pass your message to your Dr. They are very disrespectful. I just called the answering service a few minutes ago. I have terrible insomnia and I've been awake for 3 days. I'm hallucinating because I have been up for so long. At first she was not going to contact my doctor because she said they don't do psychiatry after hours.. what is that? Then I told her that I have been awake for 3 days and I am starting to hallucinate and she said hold on came back two minutes later and said you know what just call back at 8:30 in the morning that's all I can do for you. Something just doesn't seem right there

I finally found a great doctor's office...NP Shan Brown is an amazing person incredibly understanding and knowledgeable the nurse that took me to the back is great and the receptionists are very professional and friendly, I've been there twice with no more then a 5 min wait..this place is amazing compared to any other aunt Martha's I've been to!
Way better than silver cross wait time isnt bad at all. Doctors actually care same with nurses and actually listen to you. Today I was in for ear pain had a CT scan they took forever the nurse chewed them out multiple times.

From visit on 11-17-2025. Pat was an extremely caring nurse, she made sure I got seen very quickly for my trigeminal nerve pain and my abscess. The nurse practitioner was also very kind and compassionate and made sure I had pain medication before I left the ER. My prescriptions were called in promptly. Pat brought the medication right away and made sure I was discharged promptly.

Very nice place and a very nice group of young ladies that work there to help me out. Nothing has changed very nice group of people!! They have a lot of programs such as therapy, psychological, housing, and so much more frfr!!

I love going to sertoma it has really helped me a lot in learning different things I made friends also I will recommend it for anyone with a disability who has a hard time opening up there feelings and making friends or finding a job this is the place
I have been going there for 7 years. This place literally saved my life. They are very understanding and work with you on many levels. I moved and I can go to the clinic by me but I drive the 60 miles every month to go there to get my meds.This was the only thing that worked for me and thank God it did.

I love it here it’s like my own personal family. The staff is great. But recently it's a problem with the insurance they say I have to pay $20 weekly because my insurance didn't pay but they have not given me proof of the months not paid I have my proof. But yet I have to wait and see there proof it's been almost 30 days now I have been paying that's not legal and on top of that they have billed 2 of my insurance

I have always been treated with dignity and I have a smile on my face whenever I have to go there cuz everyone is so understanding and caring!! Mr.Whitfield was very helpful in helping me with my alcoholism and alcohol recovery.I was hesitant at first to accept I had an addiction and or a problem but his lessons helped me open up and own my responsibilities for my internal and external triggers.As I let his outlook and experience on addiction resinate class by class it made fighting addiction and recovering more manageable.i would recommend Mr.Whitfield and this program for anyone struggling with addiction in life.

Mr. Whitfield have my experience here very challenging but understanding to my knowledge. He has helped my recovery become a breeze. He gives not only addiction lessons but life lessons as well. This program has made a major impact on my life I’m grateful and thankful.
I took my Dad to the VA this morning for an appointment.
I dropped my Dad off at the door, park the car and went and sat down with him. 2 minutes later we were called back into a room. Beth, the RN started what she needed to do right away!
We didn't send the room for half an hour before someone came back!
Then, within 5 minutes Dr. Friedrich entered the room and attended to my Dad.
Dr. Friedrich and Beth explained everything, were attentive and kind.
It makes my heart warm when I stumble upon these situations! Unfortunately, they are few and far between!
Fantastic job Joliet VA on finding The right people for the right job, not just filling a position!

Wonderful experience, even out my poor choices. Very insightful and educational anti-addiction services for court mandates. They were very accommodating with my hectic work schedule and inability to drive. They fees were reasonable, too. I felt very welcomed there.

My dad was admitted to Riverside for hallucinations and memory concerns. The nurses, doctors, and other staff members did an amazing job with him. They kept in constant touch with me via phone calls or in person and were very thoughtful listeners when we asked questions. He stayed for about 10 days and he thought his stay was very beneficial. He was in the geriatric unit. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to other elderly people who are having similar concerns as my dad. Thank you, Riverside.

At first I was worried about privacy but they respected everything. Outpatient times worked well with my schedule caring for my parents. Staff was kind and helpful even when things got busy. Very grateful I found this place.

I was pleasantly surprised at the great improvement in services from the admission process, the emergency room experience and the overall inpatient process at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. I want to publicly recognize Nurse Jordan in the Observation Unit at Silver Cross Hospital for saving my life and providing the most empathetic care I have ever received. On August 22, 2025, I was admitted following a frightening syncope episode.
The next day, my condition worsened dramatically, leading to a Rapid Response call where I was diagnosed with Sick Sinus Syndrome. When the doctor explained that, at 35, I needed a pacemaker, I completely broke down. I was terrified and cried hysterically.
Nurse Jordan was there, and she didn't just stand by, she was present. She felt my pain, comforted me, and assured me I was in the best hands. As a nurse myself, I know the difference between good care and truly exceptional care. Jordan went above and beyond her clinical duties; she was my tireless advocate, ensuring I felt safe during the most vulnerable time of my life.
Nurse Jordan, thank you. You didn't just apply your knowledge; you shared a piece of your good heart. Because of your dedication and advocacy, I got the treatment I needed. Silver Cross Hospital is incredibly fortunate to have a nurse like Jordan on its team. She is a genuine hero.

Jill M was the technician that performed my CT scan during my stay at Silver Cross hospital and she was the sweetest woman. She lifted my spirits while i was feeling miserable and was super accommodating. Amazing!
I'm honestly impressed by how quickly the staff set me up for an initial visit with a primary care Dr. I was already enrolled in the system and have been to other VAs, so that certainly helps. I was in and out within 20 minutes.
