My experience has been mixed. Was this agency as adolescent from 2005 - 2009 and came back to agency in 2015. It took awhile and lot hurt from previous clinicians to find the one I currently have now. It also took awhile for him to earn my trust. August will be 3 three years with my current therapist and couldn’t give him enough praise. Brendan is the therapist best I’ve worked.

I’m a resident of Oxford sober living in Darien for the women’s house. Ten minutes away from Abraxas. I went to Abraxas and loved the staff. I had been to 35 rehabs in total and couldn’t grasp the concept of sobriety. But something clicked for me in there. Now I’m two years sober and giving back to my community. Inpatient is recovery focused professional services and staff. friendly environment and help to those who need it is the priority. Good speakers come in good meetings are held . IOP services are professional and have great topics for all aspects of recovery

My son has been struggling for years and has been to several rehabs. Some bad some great. He's currently at this one and I have seen such a huge difference in him! He is making healthy plans for the future and is full of hope again! He loves that they get to go outside for basketball and the other clients act like family. I like that it's separated with men on one unit and ladies on the other. Having been through treatments myself, I know this is crucial. My son has nothing but good things to say about this facility and I can definitely see the positive change, as can our family. We thank you 🙏❤️

This program has really changed my life. Mario is a fantastic teacher and a student. Frank and the lady at the front desk make you feel like family.

Great staff and very helpful during a rough time because chances are, if you need to come here, its court ordered. This is the most affordable place to take your classes and even of you are a low risk you will be surprised what you learn and take away from these classes. Mario, Amanda, and Frank are awesome from my time spent there in 2005 and they (plus others I've never met) have been excellent for my fiancee who had a whopping 75hrs to complete. This place is really great.

Kim and Melonie are the most welcoming , kind hearted, caring individuals. I never once feel judged and as an addict I’m used to being treated so. But not here. I’m treated like the human being I am and with respect. They really do the most to make the environment a more welcoming enjoyable experience. When I first came here I was broken and lost in addiction just trying to look for a way out and this place really helped me get on the right path. Recovery is possible and keep going!!!

LOVE, LOVE this clinic!!!! Only clinic my husband & I have joined that treat you with the upmost respect. Melanie & Kim go above & beyond their jobs plus more. They make sure your all set up & don’t need any other resources also. My counselor Chris is unbelievable! First counselor I’ve had that can relate & I actually want to talk & open up. Such a fresh of breath air there, it gives ya hope for once. Thank you guys for everything you guys do🩷

Great 👌 place " They really make you feel at home 🏠.As for some of us that never had a family or what it may it be .....This place makes you part of their family 💯🦍💯 not a 💰 amount . They give back in many ways ... From snacks , clothes , hygiene products , respecting & treating an individual like a human being and showing appreciation , understanding , & grace no matter what walk of life you come from ... I get poked by this purple cactus 🌵 every other day & happily greeted by all ... From the front desk Ms.Kim 'to the counselors , Mr. Will , Dr. , Nurses , down to the fish.... May Bobby Buonauro Rest In Paradise & would I have loved to meet him and Thank him in person for all his help...

This is really a great clinic, no wait times and affordable. Jes the receptionist is so sweet, and the staff is nice too.

I absolutely love this clinic. I've been to three different ones and this was the four one and the best. Easy to talk to. They make you feel like you have a chance. Of course you have to believe but it does help when someone helping you believe in you.

The staff here are the best. Went through the house for my gambling. The gambling compulsion has left. The program here is the best that I have seen. Get the help you need.

Since I've been in gambling recovery,all staff have been helpful. Denise,Chris, Andrea...Rita. Bob. They all have helped me understand gambling and it's affect on my life. All the gambling group members bring a lot of wisdom being ex gamblers. Way Back Inn is great if you're serious or tired of gambling

Angelika is one of the best psychologist in our area. Highly educated. Non judgemental. Great approach to therapy and couples counseling and so much more and she's bilingual which is great for bilingual partners. She's great at understanding American culture and traditions and Polish culture and traditions. Highly recommend!

Great clinic

A true master class of what MAT program should be, from the amazing Stephanie who you can find dutifully behind the front desk, doing so much for the clients that without her hard work dealing with insurance companies, insuring transportation etc Many people myself included would not have been able to utilize this fantastic place of healing. Furthermore the Director Margo Brooks can not be given enough credit for the way she ensures a place that is conducive to the healing taking place and the humanizing of folks that more often then not have been let down by less Impressive institutions such. I owe my life and sanity to these great people. And that is to say nothing of the 5 star nursing staff. God bless these fine upstanding people and the hard and often thankless job they do. So this comes from the bottom of my heart and I'm sure I speak for many others when finally giving you the just thanks you so rightfully deserve now. If ever I needed to recommend anyone to get treatment I always have an extra CAP business card in my wallet, they are that good and so much better at what they do from others in their field. That is a firsthand truth.

This hands down is the best clinic in Chgo. I have been to several different clinics through the years and this clinic seems to be the one that is working for me. I have been able to maintain my sobriety here. Counselors are great hours are convenient Nurses are super cool and I've never really had a long wait to get medicated. Love it here

I had a meeting with Patrick and got a grand tour of the place after doing my interview. Even though I haven't stayed there yet the place was clean and ran well. The guys looked happy and said some good things about the place in the halls. My overall impression of Bonaventure was very good!

I have been receiving counseling from Meghann Richko for 5 years now. Meghann has helped me in countless ways. She really listens to my needs and helps me target what areas I need/want to work on. Meghann has helped me through periods of deep grief and confusion. She has provided a safe space for me to feel heard without bias. I would highly recommend Meghann to anyone looking for an experienced and kind counselor that makes therapy a light and meaningful experience.

Dr Mari’s practice offers such a unique and supportive environment for their patients. You can feel the warmth and commitment from the whole team- these providers are passionate about the work they do and go out of their way to provide integrative support. The combination of offering many modalities and the very human approach to caring for their clients makes this practice such a special place.

I've been in therapy for a total of 43 years, 10 of which have been with Kenneth Young. I've only had 2 different therapists and would have kept the first one, however she moved into private practice. I am working with Alyssa now and she has been kind compassionate and great, I adore her. Over the decades and for 15 years I went all the way to Evanston to see a psychiatrist. I loved her and I thought we were getting someplace. The second to the last meeting she dumped a statement, on me of her facts and told me, "I thought you knew." I was stunned, bewildered and beyond disappointed. There is no cure for what I have, no pills only therapy. I read every book on it before our next meeting. I imagined all week, who could I have become, had I known. I went one more time, kissed & hugged her good-bye and knew I would never, ever see her again, and I haven't. She never followed up with me anymore either. I was then lucky enough to find Rebecca, who went into private practice, which is when I was blessed enough to get Alyssa. I have tried the group therapy as well. I haven't seen a psychiatrist for over 23 years now, and don't miss them at all. It is terribly hard to find a person you interact well with and at times it can be exhausting, therapy isn't easy, it also is not for the timid or weak. I have seen by every family member who has never had therapy, nor believes in it, and then I have a point of comparison. I no longer act like them and truly see my growth. I am not the man I used to be, but each day I strive to keep on being a better me, than the day before. I am beyond grateful for all the therapists and psychiatrists over the years, but especially to Kenneth Young!
