I have been seeing my psychiatrist there for 3 years. Dr. Godbolt is great! She takes her time and has given me a new hope on life. NOW, The after hours answering service is another story! They rarely pass your message to your Dr. They are very disrespectful. I just called the answering service a few minutes ago. I have terrible insomnia and I've been awake for 3 days. I'm hallucinating because I have been up for so long. At first she was not going to contact my doctor because she said they don't do psychiatry after hours.. what is that? Then I told her that I have been awake for 3 days and I am starting to hallucinate and she said hold on came back two minutes later and said you know what just call back at 8:30 in the morning that's all I can do for you. Something just doesn't seem right there

Riverside is the best medical mental health facility I have ever stayed in in my life. My mother was beaten real bad and I was traumatized very bad. I slept in the bathroom and they were very patient with me. I learned a lot of coping skills with my mental health as well as skills that I still use today. The outpatient team was awesome and if I could put an awareness on people on the staff that were there when I was there. . The outpatient team was awesome and if I could put a awareness on people on the staff that were there when I was there it was the best experience I ever experienced in life and if I could go back, I would to do as some people deal with me.

My dad was admitted to Riverside for hallucinations and memory concerns. The nurses, doctors, and other staff members did an amazing job with him. They kept in constant touch with me via phone calls or in person and were very thoughtful listeners when we asked questions. He stayed for about 10 days and he thought his stay was very beneficial. He was in the geriatric unit. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to other elderly people who are having similar concerns as my dad. Thank you, Riverside.

Got covid tested here today. Checked in over the phone. Walked in and was immediately seated in my own room. Got tested and was out in 2 or 3 minutes. Was a very smooth process.

If you know how to follow some simple rules & are genuinely serious about getting off opiates Duane Dean will save your life. It saved mine 17 years ago. Victoria is a fantastic nurse. You have to remember what she's dealing with. Junkies that are always trying to bend rules, manipulate people & drug tests, argue or just act immature. If your serious about recovery go to Duane Dean. If you think Methadone is "withdrawal insurance" don't waste everyone's time, stay on the street. It's not easy, but if your reading this,, it's probably time. Being a functional Junkie isn't easy either. Good Luck!!

IF you genuinely want help and are going to put in the work this place is a good place with various resources to assist people in various aspects of their lives. They provide the tools needed to live a sober life but YOU have to want it. Someone stated in a review it's an "addicts market", and I will say there are people there who are not serious in treatment and/or might only be there because they are forced and they do use the place to make more connections unfortunately. But again if you want the help and are serious about treatment this facility can and will provide you the tools to succeed. No one but YOU can do the work though. They offer groups Monday - Saturday (Parenting on Thursdays) and the groups are very helpful and beneficial (in my experience). Most of the staff are very professional, supportive, and caring.

The stay staff all are hand picked the greatest. Counselors are all one of a kind especially if u get Mrs cora ball of energy and motivation that she and others do care or Steve called my probation officer and help you get off probation concerned checking in on me the staff there want to see everyone who there that it possible to overcome anything we may have faced let it go and don't give up on our selves . Rated the 100 miss my fgc family even pres me prince understanding and encouraging nurses are the best ever also. My conditions are quite severe; as I say so myself. I have been in and out of psychiatrists and therapists since 1990 (age 3). Countless diagnoses, countless disappointments. I admit I can be a lot to handle, I push all buttons I can when I am having an episode. However, this office and ALL of its staff (including the crisis line) is more than qualified and caring to help even the most severe cases. Every time I’ve been in the office, spoken in person or on the phone, they show nothing but respect and empathy. Even in moments when a regular person would yell back, they stay calm. They even provide help in between visits! I’ve never had a facility that accepts state aid be so amazingly helpful. 32 years old and this office must have been sent from heaven; because in 24 years of being mentally ill, I have finally find doctors who genuinely want to see their patients get better.

My experience here was a learning experience and they have a lot of good hearted people here when I was there in 2011. I didn’t always feel comfortable with talking with certain people. Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. One of the things that has been the most helpful for me has been the aftercare, follow ups and continued connection I get with them. It has become part of my family now and its a lifestyle. One of the things I lost in my life was a sense of being part of my community and having that desire to isolate from people. I dont feel that way anymore because of Suncloud. I choose to take part of the Symetria program voluntarily and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Not only are the staff like family, so are the individuals that pick Symetria too. Now days, customer service is pathetic and people are rude and most push you out the door, but not here. This place has the warm feeling like "The door is always open", and "how can we help you", We are here for you, it doesn't matter the time or the day, we care about you. You're a shining star and a success, not a failure. This place is secure, confidential, clean and has several options to help you along your journey. You are able to volunteer your time, make new friends and can help save a life, change a life and feel proud of who you are. Brian and John from Naperville are excellent group leaders (you are lucky if you get to meet them), and (Chris from Vernon Hills is a great counselor, who will make the time to ensure your needs are met). Symetria creates an environment where people feel safe, supported, and valued. The morning IOP group supported me through the hardest part of my life and I will forever be grateful for the amazing people I met. I think each one of us in the group looked forward to our time together in that healing place. Our counselor Brian is an expert in his field. He led our group through many difficult topics and conversations and did so with enormous compassion. Individual sessions with Brian were always insightful. Brian has a unique way of making each of his clients feel good about themselves. If you struggle with addiction and are looking for a place where you can start to make changes, I highly recommend Naperville's IOP program. Thank you for helping me change my life.

I can't stand the negative reviews. YES I WAS THERE. Six months ago, I almost didn't stay but I did. Such incredible staff and an incredible program. Met some of the greatest people to ever want to change their life around. Residential was amazing. PHP also an incredible program attended both with full support from all staff and peers. Being at Banyan has been an absolutely transformative experience to say the least. My recovery journey from where I started before Banyan to where I am now after Banyan has been a complete 360, and I owe it to the staff and the knowledge that Banyan provided me. Amanda, Payton, Maggie, Alexis, and Mike are the best recovery counselors I've ever worked with before, and its been a privilege to work with and learn from such state of the art individuals. I'm actually heartbroken to be leaving this program, because their help has been so impactful. I look forward to going to Banyan Alumi meetings in the future, and I want to say a big thank you to all those who helped me along my journey to recovery.

I see a lot of negative reviews on here and my experience might have been different due to my age (late 30s). I wanted to be at TK. I didn't have someone make the decision for me, although my husband was very supportive. Out of all the staff, there were only 2 I didn't like. Not that they were bad, just a clash with our personalities. I have epilepsy, it's chronic and active. I had to go home to have surgery (a replacement battery for the device that helps control my seizures). I was gone for about 36 hours. The staff was great with my seizures and with my surgery. I thought I was going to need to go back when my husband passed away, but I made it through. A lot of that I can credit TK with for giving me the tools to work with. The only problem I really had was leaving. Leaving was terrifying because that safety net just vanished. That is one thing I think the staff needs to prepare you a bit better for. I've been healthy since leaving. Sure, I still get the feelings/urges on occasion but I created my own safety net. I can control the urges. I'm actually rather proud of myself. PS - If any of the former staff ever reads this "Meany Mo-Mo" you know who you are. Thank you, for all you did. Your patience, your help, and just being there when I needed it. You literally are the best. <3
