So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside.
Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! The staff is very friendly and supportive in your recovery journey. The group facilitators are highly educated and always discuss very relevant information in group about recovery. The food is also really good, big shout out to the guys that cooked for all of us here at RVI. They also have many recreational activities such as ping pong, basketball, and a gym. Great place to rest and focus on your sobriety. I highly recommend this place to somebody who is trying to get sober.

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... I love what the Harbor Light Center is doing for our community! I know several people who have gone through this program and they have been transformed by the incredible love and care they received there. This is a top-notch detox and addiction treatment program and it shows. Harbor Light welcomes anyone - no matter what their background is or how many times they've been through recovery. Stayed at this places for 4 months and will never forgot it. Unfortunately everyone in there with me that I had numbers from has relapsed and died from Heroin. I had no want to get clean, just tried to get my mother off my back. This was in 2012. November 15th 2017 I wanted it for myself. Went to a place here locally with a bag of clothes and a moped. Worked the steps. Went to 12-14 meetings a week (no joke) fell in love with recovery. After looking back, I seen some great people there. The counselor Sid really seemed to care and told it how it was. Wish I would’ve got it together then but God had different plans. I now have bought my own house, have my license and 3 different cars. Bought more property to make my yard bigger and build a new house on. Everything in my life has gotten better doing the next right thing. Getting married in October. Wish I would’ve done more step work but I eventually got it done. Much love ya’ll. A lot of them called me Big Country or Flacco. I guess it means white not in Spanish? lol I had a lot of fun and Holy Spirit interactions at this place

This place is great! I was in Community Fairbanks for 28 days. They got me up early, on a schedule, groups were great and so was the food. I miss their breakfast! The staff is excellent; specifically Kyle and Cathy. Plenty of smoke breaks. They set me up with SLP (Sober Living.) I’m looking at volunteering. I feel the need to give back. Overall a great experience!

I do not have a single bad thing to say about Fairbanks. If you have both your feet into getting sober this is the place for you. Their staff is extremely professional and compassionate. They bend over backwards to take care of you. I’ve struggled with sobriety for years and my third time going to Fairbanks on July 3, 2025, it all finally clicked. Currently at the moment I have 47 days sober and then in the process of completing the IOP program And I feel better now than I ever have when I was drinking. I would honestly recommend this place to anybody that is serious about getting clean.

As a first year therapist working at TWC, I have grown a lot. TWC is a great place to work. Everyone is willing to help and step in when you’re in need. Working here makes me feel like I’m working with family. I enjoy every bit of this place. It offers sooo much. Even thought TWC is a treatment center, it also branches out with just receiving simple mental health care. TWC allows for everyone to grow, from clients to staff. I have benefited greatly from this center! My 1:1 with Angel have mentally and emotionally progressed and prepared me for the ups and downs of life. And the groups they offer (DBT/Recovery Management) have exceeded my expectations of the usable knowledge I can utilize in my day to day life.
I appreciate the consistent support and encouragement from staff!

I've been a patient here for over 6 years and have had some issues here and there but it took me a while to realize how much this place cares about their patients. They have been there for me through everything and never gave up on me or kicked me out of therapy for my behavior, which is improving thanks to my new treatment plan with Dr. Patrick Z. I realize that mental health therapy takes time and not everything is going to work right off the bat. Maybe its a breakthrough i've had while in treatment, or maybe it's me finally growing up. If you're willing to be patient and put the time and effort into your therapy, you'll get alot farther than you would just by taking pills and calling it a day. I'll always recommend this place! Thanks guys
