This facility provides truly exceptional care. From the front desk to the clinical staff and doctor, everyone was remarkably friendly and welcoming. It is immediately clear that the team views patients as individuals rather than just another task on their schedule. I want to give a special shoutout to my nurse, Lauri. Before beginning routine checks, she took the time to listen carefully to what happened and evaluate my symptoms with genuine empathy. She walked me through every step of the visit in advance, which brought immense peace of mind during a stressful situation. Cory and Lauren we're great. Both very understating, and easy to talk with. Prices were affordable.They helped make an uncomfortable situation comfortable. I have never had any issues what so ever and I've been going here for 2 years now. I still am clean going on 5 years total now. Zero relapses. Sophia has gone above and beyond when it comes to my care. even seeing me when I just walked in the door today without an appointment. I've been lucky to have such amazing care. If all Dr.s and Nurses acted like her I think addiction in this country would be almost non existent.

I successfully completed the IOP portion of my treatment and truly valued the insight gained during that time. While I have transitioned into Continuing Care, I find myself hesitant to move toward graduation because of the invaluable support I receive from my counselor, Mechelle. Her ability to listen deeply, provide practical coping skills, and offer genuine understanding has been a cornerstone of my progress. Her guidance makes the recovery process feel manageable, and I value the therapeutic relationship we have built.

The front desk staff is very professional understanding and friendly. These people really are there to help without any judgment. Believe me they have seen and heard it all so if you find yourself in a situation where you should see counseling do not hesitate to be open and honest with them. The nurses, Jennifer and Esther are constantly on the run to ensure patients needs are met.These ladies made me feel safe and would always listen to my concerns when they got a moment. I have a new therapist at a different practice for another purpose, but Tara at PCMH was the first therapist that was able to genuinely help me. I learned a lot with Tara’s help and was able to make strides. The few interactions I had over the phone with other staff were pleasant, never had an issue. My experience with this place has been amazing. You walk in and are greeted by the most friendly receptionist. I see Janet for guidance, and she is just absolutely amazing. She’s so kind hearted and positive and friendly. She makes you feel absolutely at home, and totally comfortable to talk openly about concerns. I can’t recommend her highly enough. They are so well organized and so professional. They are a wonderful place to go!

From the time I received directions until I left the Center, I was very impressed with the high quality of professionalism I encountered! The receptionist at the front desk was SO friendly as well as the therapist I spoke with. I don't remember ever receiving this magnitude of service! Way to go!

This place saved my life. :) I met so many wonderful people, and wonderful staff members. Some standouts were Nurse Laura, my therapist Randy, NP Shannon, and BHT Jason and Adrian. But every staff member was so kind and caring. It’s a very safe and welcoming place to be. That being said, there is room for improvement. The rooms are filthy, and some of the common areas are too. Peers started taking it upon themselves to clean their own bathrooms and some of the common areas. My husband’s jacket somehow got lost in the laundry process, and I never got it back. Some of my peers had some of their things lost as well. Overall, I’m happy that I went. It really did save my life. And I do recommend it. Just know going in that it’s not exactly a well-oiled-machine as far as staffing goes, and expect dirty rooms and common areas.

I know it's weird to say that I would miss this treatment facility Residential Heartland/Gilman. I would not be honest from the very beginning. Staff was attentive and warm towards shame and guilt. Shout out to The Nurses and Bht's, kitchen staff. If it weren't for this place who knows. Silas, Maggie Mike and Heather. And Kevin, Kimber. Kayla. Ash,Ty, Christian. And Todd. Oh and The food was great. Especially "The Better than Sex Cake. I would not be sober now if it weren't for all of Banyan Team. Transport as well. Luke,Rich,Pete. Stay Golden. Sincerely,Marco.

I was here from 2004-2007. My experience here was very different from where I had been previous places. You re out I m the middle of nowhere removed from your family,friends and most likely where you grew up at. When I first got there you were introduced to your administration for your program. I was put on program 2 the NFL floor I don t know if it s called that now, but that s what it was called when I was there. My first few weeks there took some getting use to, very restrictive setting everything you do here is about accountability which in return taught youth here responsibility. The way the program is setup is strict as well everything you do is monitored by staff and higher admins. The room you get is a decent size one bed a dresser and a cabinet dresser to hang coats or bigger items. And a table and chair in there as well. The bathroom was in the hallway there was 2 of them, bathroom was pretty big too stand up shower sink toilet the basics. The floor itself is pretty spacious it could accommodate I would say 40-50 people at any given time. There was one room we called quads you got to earn that room to be able to sleep in a room with 3 other individuals which was considered a luxury well earned. A typical day consisted of waking doing your morning routine ie: washing up,showering using the rest room. When going anywhere we had to line up in a single file line to they could pretty much do count. You would head downstairs to the cafeteria to eat breakfast majority of the time you got to sit where you wanted. Lunch was the same and so wasn t dinner. The food wasn t too horrible at times. I would rate the food 7 out of 10. Your typical day consisted of group therapy, 1 on 1 with a therapist or counselor aka staff member. The people I had on my floor were Jim Herder, Mike Cordetti, bill Featherstone, and cannot for the life of me remember the lady s name who was our administrator for our floor. But they were tough people but at the end of the day they cared for you. Hats just my personal opinion from interactions with them. Oh her name was Rhonda lol. You got to watch tv but some channels or movies were restricted the same went for music,magazines, and photos. We had sports teams, track soccer softball, basketball. They had a swimming pool don t if it s actually usable anymore because of problems they were having at the time with it. At onarga it s about earning everything because when you come there you re don t get to do whatever you want until you ve earned. It s a system that they go by, it all ties into your groups, staff interactions, peer interactions and what you re there for. I was able to achieve NFL veteran status before I left which was a tough task and grind. They don t give it to you easy I got turned down a few times along the way, but I kept pushing because I wanted to be the first person to achieve such a feat. It was very rewarding for me in the long run. Your main objective is to make your way over to the independent living program across the street from the main campus. Which is what a lot of guys should ve been working towards. Everything wasn t always perfect you seen fights, you heard of in appropriate actions, and a whole bunch of code reds. There was a third shifter who there by the name of Joe farmer who I didn t like at first but after him and I got to know each other we turned out to be I would say good friend. Dale was one of the best, Melissa, Arami, Carl who we called Pelon which is bald man in Spanish lol. There s a few others as well but I can t recall their names. The school system quite honestly from a person who lived there and went to the school on campus and Iroquois west high school. The schools are night and day compared to one another. I thought it was a joke and I m sure I wasn t the only. I m not saying that the teachers were bad it s just not your regular school that s all. I would like to come back to Onarga academy or nexus academy and talk to the young man that are there now.

I stayed here for a while back in 2013 to 2015 but tbh the worst thing about this place is the manipulation from us kids that were there.... I'm takin responsibility for all the trouble I caused while I was there and do sincerely apologize for all of it and just wanted to say for the P3 staff that remember me 😆 Hiiiii 👋 I'm living my best life I got my Ls got a car got a dog and a house I have 2 jobs and am doing amazing 👏 I honestly owe it all to you guys cuz I think back to all our groups and stuff when I'm goin thru sum I explore new coping skills and invest time in doin key things that help me .... so thank you all .... This place pulled me outta a dark spot. I came in feelin’ like death 🤕, but they knew exactly what to do. The detox part? Rough. But they had me in a clean bed , checking on me non-stop. Felt safe for once.They don’t sugarcoat things, but they don’t treat you like garbage either. Just solid care, real help, and a team that actually gives a damn .

Charleston Detox had my back when things were at their worst. The crew there didn’t just treat me like another case — they treated me like a real person. Straight-up support, no judgment, and they kept it honest the whole time.The detox itself was rough, but they made it bearable. Nurses checked on me constantly, and the counselors actually listened.
