This place pulled me outta a dark spot. I came in feelin’ like death 🤕, but they knew exactly what to do. The detox part? Rough. But they had me in a clean bed , checking on me non-stop. Felt safe for once.They don’t sugarcoat things, but they don’t treat you like garbage either. Just solid care, real help, and a team that actually gives a damn .

Charleston Detox had my back when things were at their worst. The crew there didn’t just treat me like another case — they treated me like a real person. Straight-up support, no judgment, and they kept it honest the whole time.The detox itself was rough, but they made it bearable. Nurses checked on me constantly, and the counselors actually listened. These women and men are unbelievably in touch with the recovery process. There's no doubt that they have and are still pouring their all into helping others in their recovery process. I get a moment to speak not just about the process, but also I'm given time to just let any and everything on the table...minus any judgment. Ashlee and Lora are two women I would go to bat for. I'm truly grateful for their time, effort and dedication. My son did sober living at this facility and he learned so much and became a responsible adult that no prison or rehab ever gave him! He reaches out for help now. He works and supports himself. I can only say amazing things about how they helped him beat his addiction! Yes he still battles but he has more confidence in his ability to stay clean and sober now. I have never had any issues what so ever and I've been going here for 2 years now. I still am clean going on 5 years total now. Zero relapses. Sophia has gone above and beyond when it comes to my care. even seeing me when I just walked in the door today without an appointment. I've been lucky to have such amazing care. If all Dr.s and Nurses acted like her I think addiction in this country would be almost non existent.

Like I love everyone here been going for years especially my doctors and the nurse that I always get for Janelle Chalmers but for some reason when I call alot of times it does a fax machine noise and I like REALLY need to get through today I tried Friday too.

I was here in 2020 and stayed about a week, the place fore the adults was nice had a roo to myself with no roommates which was good. The had a sensory room for adults and asked to go in there cause one if the patients there was screaming and throwing things causing me to go into a meltdown judt like covering my ears and stuff I asked to go in cause i wasnt liking the noise and the staff was kind enough to let me be in there until things settle down. There was this one nurse who was with me when I was ready to be picked up I cant remember his name but he also enjoyed My hero academia when I told him about it so that made my day. Im just one of the few wbo enjoyed being here to get away from it all.

I didn't catch her name - but on 1/31 at 3:18 pm, an absolute angel of an employee spent 15 minutes of her time talking on the phone with me about my health concern and shared her similar story with me. She was the kindest, most compassionate employee I have ever encountered during my entire scary health experience. She even offered advice on what she did in her case, and I am so appreciative of the time and effort she spent talking to me. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that it encourages other people to seek out care for their own scary health experiences. In particular, it is clear that Carle on Windsor has some amazing employees who really do care.

I came here at the age of 14 when they were on strike and had to leave due to a lack of professionalism and consistency but I have to say I am very impressed with how much better they’ve gotten under new management, I don’t necessarily agree with the policies of services and the grounds they have for termination but they are fair and understandable nonetheless.
