I was born in this hospital in 1968. Since then I didn't have much contact, but recently I supported my Father as he went through a knee replacement surgery. Due to his age, he struggled quite a bit, which led to him being here for 10 days total. From the very beginning until his departure, everyone we dealt with was exceptional. I do write this review with sincerity of heart as it is difficult to watch your loved ones go through something like this. From the doctors, to the nurses, to the CNA's, to those that came in to clean and bring his meals to him, and, finally, the priest who shared prayers and encouragement with him numerous times. I want to say, "Thank you!" Our experience with St. Mary's was nothing but positive. Also, do not want to forget to mention Sheena that handled the behind the scenes situations between hospital, insurance, and rehabiliation facilities. I do not know what goes into all of this, but she went above and beyond any expectations I had. She represented the hospital well.

I have a new therapist at a different practice for another purpose, but Tara at PCMH was the first therapist that was able to genuinely help me. I learned a lot with Tara’s help and was able to make strides. The few interactions I had over the phone with other staff were pleasant, never had an issue. Mainly reviewing to recommend Tara if you’re needing a good therapist.

My experience with this place has been amazing. You walk in and are greeted by the most friendly receptionist. I see Janet for guidance, and she is just absolutely amazing. She’s so kind hearted and positive and friendly. She makes you feel absolutely at home, and totally comfortable to talk openly about concerns. I can’t recommend her highly enough. They are so well organized and so professional. They are a wonderful place to go!

The experience was great. My counselor and others was also well, since I e left gateway I’ve been on a better track and able to utilize my coping skills in a professional manner. Groups were great as well and hearing some of our counselor stories and how they’ve came from up under that addiction opened my eyes to have hope. If you’re suffering from addictions this would be a great start. It’s not ment to disappear it’s ment to be manageable.then and now

Especially knowledge, trust, i even got better with my PTSD. I found myself. I was lost for a long time. I didnt want to got to rehab i though i heard it all. I was stubborn. I alots lost my family. They lost there son, brother, father,grandpa and husband. I became a stranger they didnt know. Slowly wathing me die. This place pulled me outta a dark spot. I came in feelin’ like death 🤕, but they knew exactly what to do. The detox part? Rough. But they had me in a clean bed , checking on me non-stop. Felt safe for once.They don’t sugarcoat things, but they don’t treat you like garbage either. Just solid care, real help, and a team that actually gives a damn .

Charleston Detox had my back when things were at their worst. The crew there didn’t just treat me like another case — they treated me like a real person. Straight-up support, no judgment, and they kept it honest the whole time.The detox itself was rough, but they made it bearable. Nurses checked on me constantly, and the counselors actually listened. I'll never forget the feeling that I had when I walked into gateway in Springfield il. I was in terrible condition. The moment I walked through the door I had an overwhelming feeling that I was going to be ok and I was just where I needed to be. Mr. James sits at the front door. He's the most polite, well mannered, welcoming, man I've ever met in my life. My heart was so happy to see him. Nicest man I've ever met. From there it just kept getting better. I met Josh Ronan. He truly cared about me. He made me feel like I belonged. I finally belong somewhere. And that is a feeling I can't describe. Then I met James on the men's unit. He is a thors hammer of a man. He was wonderful also. He made my heart happy. My counselor was Rhonda. She went above and beyond to help me with all my needs. I highly recommend gateway in Springfield il to any and all needing assistance. This place helped to save my life. They gave you all the tools you need to recover. My son did sober living at this facility and he learned so much and became a responsible adult that no prison or rehab ever gave him! He reaches out for help now. He works and supports himself. I can only say amazing things about how they helped him beat his addiction! Yes he still battles but he has more confidence in his ability to stay clean and sober now. He seeks out meetings that he used to refuse to go to. I am so grateful for Rosecrance❤️❤️ Thank you for giving me my son back❤️❤️❤️

I didn't catch her name - but on 1/31 at 3:18 pm, an absolute angel of an employee spent 15 minutes of her time talking on the phone with me about my health concern and shared her similar story with me. She was the kindest, most compassionate employee I have ever encountered during my entire scary health experience. She even offered advice on what she did in her case, and I am so appreciative of the time and effort she spent talking to me. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that it encourages other people to seek out care for their own scary health experiences. In particular, it is clear that Carle on Windsor has some amazing employees who really do care.

My daughter just finished treatment there a few weeks ago, and I can't rave enough about her counselor, Shannon. She always listened intently to everything my daughter said, helped her understand the issues she was having and assisted her with finding the coping mechanisms and outlets that best suited her.
