I was there 19 year's ago. And I don't know what's going on now. But I'm still "HERION FREE" with a Incredibly Great Paying Job. You have to want it ( Clean) like you wanted the Drugs or Drink. But you have To Allow and Trust God for Help!!!!!

I was born in this hospital in 1968. Since then I didn't have much contact, but recently I supported my Father as he went through a knee replacement surgery. Due to his age, he struggled quite a bit, which led to him being here for 10 days total. From the very beginning until his departure, everyone we dealt with was exceptional. I do write this review with sincerity of heart as it is difficult to watch your loved ones go through something like this. From the doctors, to the nurses, to the CNA's, to those that came in to clean and bring his meals to him, and, finally, the priest who shared prayers and encouragement with him numerous times. I want to say, "Thank you!" Our experience with St. Mary's was nothing but positive. Also, do not want to forget to mention Sheena that handled the behind the scenes situations between hospital, insurance, and rehabiliation facilities. I do not know what goes into all of this, but she went above and beyond any expectations I had. She represented the hospital well.

I went in there tonight for an eye infection that was severe. Everybody from the front desk to the end were polite and listened. Even when it was something they hadn't seen before. I was there for about 2 hours and they check on me multiple times. Probably one of the better ERS I've been to

I have a new therapist at a different practice for another purpose, but Tara at PCMH was the first therapist that was able to genuinely help me. I learned a lot with Tara’s help and was able to make strides. The few interactions I had over the phone with other staff were pleasant, never had an issue. Mainly reviewing to recommend Tara if you’re needing a good therapist.

My experience with this place has been amazing. You walk in and are greeted by the most friendly receptionist. I see Janet for guidance, and she is just absolutely amazing. She’s so kind hearted and positive and friendly. She makes you feel absolutely at home, and totally comfortable to talk openly about concerns. I can’t recommend her highly enough. They are so well organized and so professional. They are a wonderful place to go!

From the time I received directions until I left the Center, I was very impressed with the high quality of professionalism I encountered! The receptionist at the front desk was SO friendly as well as the therapist I spoke with. I don't remember ever receiving this magnitude of service! Way to go!

This place is great, people need to understand just because you decide to quit and seek help it doesn't mean people have to jump or you don't have to wait because you want it right that second. Sophia has gone above and beyond when it comes to my care. even seeing me when I just walked in the door today without an appointment. I've been lucky to have such amazing care. If all Dr.s and Nurses acted like her I think addiction in this country would be almost non existent.

I'll never forget the feeling that I had when I walked into gateway in Springfield il. I was in terrible condition. The moment I walked through the door I had an overwhelming feeling that I was going to be ok and I was just where I needed to be. Mr. James sits at the front door. He's the most polite, well mannered, welcoming, man I've ever met in my life. My heart was so happy to see him. Nicest man I've ever met. From there it just kept getting better. I met Josh Ronan. He truly cared about me. He made me feel like I belonged. I finally belong somewhere. And that is a feeling I can't describe. Then I met James on the men's unit. He is a thors hammer of a man. He was wonderful also. He made my heart happy. My counselor was Rhonda. She went above and beyond to help me with all my needs. I highly recommend gateway in Springfield il to any and all needing assistance. This place helped to save my life. They gave you all the tools you need to recover. This place pulled me outta a dark spot. I came in feelin’ like death 🤕, but they knew exactly what to do. The detox part? Rough. But they had me in a clean bed , checking on me non-stop. Felt safe for once.They don’t sugarcoat things, but they don’t treat you like garbage either. Just solid care, real help, and a team that actually gives a damn .

Fantastic staff that care about patients both residential & outpatient.. they have A great MAT program with both Methadone and Suboxone depending on the needs (if chosen)… they also offer a mobile van which many don’t know about. They have peer support for both residential and outpatient programs, they have mental health counselors, harm reduction- Narcan, fentanyl testing, and a walk in clinic. They also do Saturday hours 7:3-10am. Non profit - good hearts. Great programs.

Sadly the doctor I originally was scheduled to see wasn't there but I had another doctor Dr. Magee. He seemed very relaxed, detailed, he let me sit and explain everything going on wasn't rushed not long of a wait in the morning. They are genuinely pretty cool so far but this was just my very first appointment.

Sophia has gone above and beyond when it comes to my care. even seeing me when I just walked in the door today without an appointment. I've been lucky to have such amazing care. If all Dr.s and Nurses acted like her I think addiction in this country would be almost non existent.

I successfully completed the IOP portion of my treatment and truly valued the insight gained during that time. While I have transitioned into Continuing Care, I find myself hesitant to move toward graduation because of the invaluable support I receive from my counselor, Mechelle. My daughter just finished treatment there a few weeks ago, and I can't rave enough about her counselor, Shannon. She always listened intently to everything my daughter said, helped her understand the issues she was having and assisted her with finding the coping mechanisms and outlets that best suited her. SPTC now MedMark has been a true blessing for me and my significant other. Every person has a different path in recovery and I’m truly blessed to have the support of all the staff (Lindsay, JoAnn, Jill, Darell, Blaine, Jen, and Laurel)on mine.
