I then set up a assessment with them that had to be done in Mattoon Illinois. I met with Sue D.Let me tell you about Sue D. This woman HELPED me (and is still helping me) So very much! I cannot express to you how grateful I am for her. She has been with me through every step and aspect of where Im at in my recovery. She is a GODSEND! She actually CARES! I have been a client with Heritage for over 15 years. As many people know, sometimes it takes a person several rehab stays before getting it right and being able to remain clean and sober. After many years of heroin addiction, and multiple attempts at sobriety with several relapses along the way, I can honestly say I owe my life to Heritage Behavioral Health. Even though I was a returning client more times than I want to admit, I never felt judged for returning. The staff truly care about the clients and go out of their way to help in any way possible. I gained different tools and coping mechanisms from each and every counselor, nurse, tech, and group that I attended. I can't put into words the gratitude I feel for having the opportunity to attend rehab at Heritage and get my life back in order. Just a few years ago I was homeless on the streets, but now I have a home, a car, a full time job, I have my children back, and I'm going to school to become a counselor. Thank you Heritage!

This is by far the best detox place for at least alcohol. I have been in and out of centers like this since I was in my early 20s. I am 38 now. I went here before I went to Gateway rehab in Springfield. Made the withdrawals almost non existent. Program is Only 3 days!!! Staff is amazing!!! They give you the right medication to ease ALLLL the pain. The other places do not give IV Ativan like this place if you need it. Last time I just did oral Ativan. If your thinking about it. It s 3 days of your life to be sober or at least a chance to stay sober without the pain and agony that comes with WITHDRAWALS!!!! I am a professional alcoholic. You get your own room and you sleep most of the time. This place is like a little secret. Ativan has been a miracle medication to me. Also helps with your anxiety.

I have worked with Many different providers here and they are pretty awesome! Ann Hocking, and Dr Grant have helped me and have really been so good to me. I have also deal with Melissa from mental health that has taken the time to follow up with me to make sure I got what I needed. I honestly have never had that, so I just feel like Im somewhere that people care about the patients.. Thanks for going above and beyond for us vets!

I didn't catch her name - but on 1/31 at 3:18 pm, an absolute angel of an employee spent 15 minutes of her time talking on the phone with me about my health concern and shared her similar story with me. She was the kindest, most compassionate employee I have ever encountered during my entire scary health experience. She even offered advice on what she did in her case, and I am so appreciative of the time and effort she spent talking to me. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that it encourages other people to seek out care for their own scary health experiences. I came here at the age of 14 when they were on strike and had to leave due to a lack of professionalism and consistency but I have to say I am very impressed with how much better they ve gotten under new management, I don t necessarily agree with the policies of services and the grounds they have for termination but they are fair and understandable nonetheless.

I recently sat down with Karli at Accent counseling for an evaluation. She is very knowledgeable, and understanding of the law surrounding DUI in IL. Simply put, it was not what I was expecting walking in the door. Dealing with a DUI is stressful enough to start. Karli made sure that the experience I had there was anything but that.
