I recently completed a stay at a out of state inpatient program. I got in touch with The Hour House to continue some sort of outpatient program. I then set up a assessment with them that had to be done in Mattoon Illinois. I met with Sue D.
Let me tell you about Sue D. This woman HELPED me (and is still helping me) So very much! I cannot express to you how grateful I am for her. She has been with me through every step and aspect of where Im at in my recovery. She is a GODSEND! She actually CARES! She talks to me like I am a actual person, and not just a number/paycheck.. I would highly recommend Hour House to anyone looking to get well. I’m definitely doing much better having talking to Sue!

My girlfriend took me to HSHS Good Shepherd ER in November of 2023, I was nauseous and in severe pain. They immediately got me in a wheelchair, then to a bed. They were very kind , did ct, bloodwork and urine test. Diagnosed me with 2 large kidney stones and a UTI. Hooked me up to an IV with antibiotics and meds for pain and nausea. Within 3 hours I left the hospital with a diagnosis and feeling so much better. The ER doctor and nurses were very caring, empathetic and efficient. This is an excellent small hospital!!!

I have also deal with Melissa from mental health that has taken the time to follow up with me to make sure I got what I needed. My name is Lavell Simmons, I recently spent 28 wonderful days at the Pavilion in the New Choice Treatment program held in Champaign. I must confess that the Director Deloris Jones- Daubaris is an amazing woman of character, strength, integrity,joy and most of all compassion. Delores has a wonderful staff of two nurses and group of techs, her team is amazing I learned a lot and at this point still remain clean as to not disappoint her, my family and myself. It is all to unfamiliar for us not to pay homage to those who makes a difference in our lives. The New Choice program offered me another shot at life on life's terms and showed me how to cope with difficulties opposed to using them as an excuse to get high. Again I thank you Delores Jones, Ty, Q, Lance, Tati, Dugg, Natasha, Alma, Zefora ,Tashana and the intake staff Jasmine and Nesha you guys saved my life. Thanks for the Pavilion may God bless each of you

I was in for about 7 days and it was really helpful and I am doing so much better. Here are my favorite staff (Jack Henry, Kay, William, Matt) they were so friendly and they deserve raises. However the kitchen stuff was awful and they were nothing but rude to everyone that was there when I was.
