Picking up the phone and trying to find help for the first time was daunting. I knew I needed to change my relationship with alcohol, but I didn’t know where to start. After making multiple calls, I came across CMAR (Colorado Medicated Assisted Recovery). The first person I spoke to on the phone made me feel welcome and helped me begin my recovery journey.
I started in August 2024 and was guided to IOP, which included three sessions a week. I’ll never forget the first time I walked in—I was welcomed right away. James Jackman was the group therapist that day and made me feel comfortable from day one. He would later become my personal therapist, and I owe a lot to him for helping me through my recovery.
I came in wanting to change my relationship with alcohol, but I ended up working through so much more—my anxiety, childhood trauma, and the reasons behind my substance use. I learned more about myself and grew as a person in ways I never imagined.
After graduating IOP in three months, I decided to continue in OP for another year. Through CMAR, I’ve built a strong sober community and made many close friends. If you’re looking for help, this place is truly amazing.

Update: today was my first day I had an intake. Everyone at the front counter was very nice and polite. I met with two different people during the intake. They were really nice and polite. I really do feel they really wanna help me. They really do care about me and they really want to help my mental health and just help me in general and I’m very excited to start in this journey and it was really hard to talk about things that I’ve experienced, but I’m excited to now start diving Deep into myself internally spiritually mentally financially, and I know through taking the time to volunteer for therapy and to work on myself I’m excited to see what God my life and this company is going to do for me in every which way in my life and I’m just really excited to turn a new leaf over after months and months of calling doctors or seeing people and they said they can’t help me. I’m just excited to be able to start this journey now with Community outreach center!
So after months and months of dealing with my doctors from Kaiser Permanente, my doctor actually told me to go to this facility because they would be able to help me since Kaiser Permanente is very strict so calling I just spoke with the lovely lady. She was so nice. I believe her name was Jillian. She was so helpful and insightful. I am so and I actually she was really nice and very sweet. I’m so excited to be able to Actually turn in and getting some The help that I need and I’m really looking forward to seeing what they could do for me

Stout street helped me in ways words cannot express. It is not an easy program, but it was definitely worth it. I have my life back. Before SSF I had lost almost everyone and everything due to my drinking. Today I have a great job, my family is back in my life, and I am proud to say I have nearly 5 years clean and sober. This path of recovery is not always easy but I know I have SSF staff and peers I can always lean on, and I can honestly say I am the happiest I have ever been.

I completed stout street in 2012, I had been to 3 other rehabs that never worked I was an long time cocaine user, mostly crack. I have now been clean for almost 8 years and I owe my life to this place!! I have my life and my family back. It’s a hard program but it’s 100% worth it.

One of my friends decided to go to AspenRidge a while ago. Initially, he was not really convinced but after a while I saw him becoming a different person. He made amends with a lot of people he had hurt in the past and is currently working to improve himself.

I highly recommend Aspen Ridge to anyone who needs help with recovery. I have been in recovery for years, and Aspen Ridge is my favorite facility out there. Unlike many others, Aspens Ridge does NOT force any specific modality on folks, such as AA or NA. Many other rehab facilities are 12 step-based, which I haven’t found to be helpful. Aspend Ridge helps folks find the program that works before for each individual, such as SMART recovery, Dharma Recovery, or 12 steps. The therapists and instructors at Aspen Ridge are also all tremendously helpful and motivated. Highly recommended to anyone in need!

This is the best place for whatever you have going on in your life. I am on supervision and use them for my classes, one on ones, and testing. The staff is super nice and helpful. They go above and beyond with extra case management services and even helped with my resume. They will know you by first name and stay in touch when it counts. They have a bunch of online sessions available too if you can’t drive or need to meet with someone remotely. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

As an Addiction Counselor and Family Coach, I have worked with families whose children have been in varying levels of treatment at Sandstone Care. Their residential treatment for adolescents is outstanding, serving this younger population, for which there are not as many treatment options. Their IOP for adolescents and young adults is also excellent, and includes a family support element. Their staff is professional, compassionate, and responsive to individual's unique needs. While I was a little hesitant getting into treatment like most, the staff at sandstone were extremely patient and caring throughout the whole process. I attended and completed the dual diagnosis iop program while in treatment the staff at sandstone did an amazing job to make me feel welcome and comfortable and addressed and concerns quickly and effectively. The groups were very involved and really challenged me to grow as a person. After treatment I’ve been attending the alumni program that meets regularly and does fun events. It’s been a really good way to connect with others in the sober community and to get the extra support when I need it. I would highly recommend looking into sandstone if your considering treatment or haven’t found a place that’s right for you.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

DWRBis by far the best treatment center for women in Colorado. I have been to treatment centers all over the country and not one has helped me as much as DWR. Their clinical team is top notch and will refuse to allow a person to fail. DWR saved my life and I can’t say this enough.

Immediately I was connected with someone who wanted to help and was able to complete my intake. During my treatment time at DWR, I was surrounded by clinical staff that really wanted to help. Their professionalism and the atmosphere they've created for their clients is top notchThey guided me through some difficult times and exemplified what humans do for one another in tough times and showed me what it was like to come out the other side of active recovery. I am truly blessed and grateful for DWR. . I'm happy to report that I have almost two years sober and I attribute my recovery to the knowledge, deep understanding and courage that DWR taught me while I was there. It was a good facility I was there for 55 days and now I'm in a sober living. The place is nice and you can get a lot of tools to take with when you leave. Idk but it seems like a lot of the younger patience are there on their 10th plus time they treated like a summer get away or something it's crazy how many people are in there that's been there a number of amount of times they all knew each other not to think I'm better then anyone but they leave and they come right back it must be the good food haha I would recommend this place anyone trying to go to a rehab. Staff are nice all the nurses are pretty cool

It's hard to describe the level of care and support that Rose House provides. No family ever wants to be in this situation, but Rose House provides a level of knowledge, confidence and assurance that we couldn't find anywhere else. The fact that it is female specific makes its mission that more effective in not only dealing with addiction but the underlying roots of abuse and trauma. We were desperate and they gave us our daughter back. This place is not an adult daycare or resort. They require not only the patients to do the hard work, but the families as well. If you care about your family member you have to put in the work as well, because these folks have a tough road ahead of them and no one goes it alone in life. For these people that need this level of care Rose House is superlative in giving patients and families the tools they need to turn their lives around.

I had an amazing experience at this office. I have never started feeling so much better physically so quickly. Feeling better physically allowed me to think clearly and really focus on my recovery. I'm finishing my fourth month of aftercare and for the first time in decades truly feel hopeful for my long term sobriety. 100% recommend!!!!

I had my first surgery at AdventHealth Porter this week and it was a positive experience. All of the medical team made sure I was taken care of and answered all my questions. I was nervous but they helped me stay comfortable and had good humor through the whole experience. If I ever need surgery in the future, I would definitely try to schedule it here! As an Addiction Counselor and Family Coach, I have worked with families whose children have been in varying levels of treatment at Sandstone Care. Their residential treatment for adolescents is outstanding, serving this younger population, for which there are not as many treatment options. Their IOP for adolescents and young adults is also excellent, and includes a family support element. Their staff is professional, compassionate, and responsive to individual's unique needs. I would highly recommend Sandstone Care for adolescent and young adult treatment of substance use disorders.

While I was a little hesitant getting into treatment like most, the staff at sandstone were extremely patient and caring throughout the whole process. I attended and completed the dual diagnosis iop program while in treatment the staff at sandstone did an amazing job to make me feel welcome and comfortable and addressed and concerns quickly and effectively. The groups were very involved and really challenged me to grow as a person. After treatment I’ve been attending the alumni program that meets regularly and does fun events. It’s been a really good way to connect with others in the sober community and to get the extra support when I need it. I would highly recommend looking into sandstone if your considering treatment or haven’t found a place that’s right for you.

I struggled with opioids after a work injury, but this place really helped me. The Suboxone treatment worked well, and I was able to keep in touch with my family throughout. I came to this place after struggling with painkiller addiction for a while. The staff really helped me through it, especially with the Suboxone treatment. It wasn’t easy, but they made sure I had the support I needed, and I could still talk to my family pretty often, which was huge for me. I was also able to focus on my physical therapy, which helped a lot with the chronic pain that had me hooked in the first place. They even helped me get back on track with work. I still have a long road ahead, but this place gave me the tools to keep going.
