We integrate structured and comprehensive medical, clinical, and p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Picking up the phone and trying to find help for the first time was daunting. I knew I needed to change my relationship with alcohol, but I didn’t know where to start. After making multiple calls, I came across CMAR (Colorado Medicated Assisted Recovery). The first person I spoke to on the phone made me feel welcome and helped me begin my recovery journey.
I started in August 2024 and was guided to IOP, which included three sessions a week. I’ll never forget the first time I walked in—I was welcomed right away. James Jackman was the group therapist that day and made me feel comfortable from day one. He would later become my personal therapist, and I owe a lot to him for helping me through my recovery.
I came in wanting to change my relationship with alcohol, but I ended up working through so much more—my anxiety, childhood trauma, and the reasons behind my substance use. I learned more about myself and grew as a person in ways I never imagined.
After graduating IOP in three months, I decided to continue in OP for another year. Through CMAR, I’ve built a strong sober community and made many close friends. If you’re looking for help, this place is truly amazing.

Update: today was my first day I had an intake. Everyone at the front counter was very nice and polite. I met with two different people during the intake. They were really nice and polite. I really do feel they really wanna help me. They really do care about me and they really want to help my mental health and just help me in general and I’m very excited to start in this journey and it was really hard to talk about things that I’ve experienced, but I’m excited to now start diving Deep into myself internally spiritually mentally financially, and I know through taking the time to volunteer for therapy and to work on myself I’m excited to see what God my life and this company is going to do for me in every which way in my life and I’m just really excited to turn a new leaf over after months and months of calling doctors or seeing people and they said they can’t help me. I’m just excited to be able to start this journey now with Community outreach center!
So after months and months of dealing with my doctors from Kaiser Permanente, my doctor actually told me to go to this facility because they would be able to help me since Kaiser Permanente is very strict so calling I just spoke with the lovely lady. She was so nice. I believe her name was Jillian. She was so helpful and insightful. I am so and I actually she was really nice and very sweet. I’m so excited to be able to Actually turn in and getting some The help that I need and I’m really looking forward to seeing what they could do for me

This place is the best thing since Color Television! 😁 Seriously though, this place in and of itself.. was a contributing factor to which saved my life in the sense that when I knew ‘I was done’.. I had the BEST support & amazing championing from some amazing people sharing a common goal of maintaining their sobriety while putting their focus on their physical wellbeing and self esteem in their bodies and minds rather than just the ‘mumbo-jumbo’ of traditional, socially-conditioned methods of recovery in addiction and, having said being championed; I’d like to pay a respectable nod to a specific person, Carson.. whom by all accounts went out of the ordinary to see me thru a rather unorthodox necessity for assistance at a time when I was on the right path, yet.. just simply needed a hand-up and a simple ‘break’ and was obliged to help make a difference in my path and how I launched into my life of recovery and fitness! As a result of continuity and perseverance in this said path.. I now have the privilege and utmost pleasure of saying I’m a volunteer & will be soon be of service to the community within, and look forward to continuing my journey in my own recovery and the journey of others in their journey of growth and success within their lives as they pursue their fitness goals and aspirations as well! I had the opportunity to help with some service work and lent my time to clean some of the workout equipment, specifically the medicine balls, to which are highly utilized by many, and after approximately 32 hours of deep cleaning.. many more are using this equipment more often as they look brand new now! You can see the picture attached! ENJOY USING THE EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU COME IN TO WORKOUT 🏋️♂️ & MAY YOUR BODIES BE WELL & WITH YOU!

I am writing this review about the RAC. I wish they had their own Google Site so it was easier to find them. I had been to the RAC in the past for mental health and had not fully gotten what I needed, but they have made large improvements in their patient care. The people I would like to acknowledge is Hamza, Rebecca, Ryan, Beck, Dustin, Glenda, Michele, Tiffany, and most important of all Lynn the therapy provider here. Lynn went out of her way to advocate for me. They offered me EMDR after years of me fighting to get myself EMDR. The therapy and care coordination gave me a new outlook on life and made me feel like a new person. I finally have hope for the future and am able to start on my journey to becoming happy again. I would recommend the RAC to anyone who is struggling or has a family member struggling. They are a safe environment that offer personalized services.

My experience at The Raleigh House in Denver has been nothing short of life-changing. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. The staff goes above and beyond to create an environment where healing and growth feel possible every single day.
I especially want to highlight how incredible the alumni support is—Rico in particular. Rico is truly awesome. His dedication, compassion, and real-world insight make a huge impact. He relates to people in a way that’s honest and motivating, and his presence makes the alumni program feel strong, welcoming, and inspiring. You can tell he genuinely cares about everyone’s success long after they leave treatment.
The rest of the staff is equally remarkable. They are knowledgeable, patient, and committed to helping each person find the tools and confidence they need to move forward. The blend of professionalism and heart is something you don’t find everywhere, and it’s a big reason why The Raleigh House stands out.
If you or someone you love is seeking a place that combines expert treatment with true human connection, I can’t recommend The Raleigh House enough. Their team—and people like Rico—make all the difference.

Trust no one, especially not this organization. I was a mess when I walked in, not really interested in help. For the first few days they seemed extremely supportive and made me feel like their only client. I felt like I connected with one of the case workers and all too quickly I trusted her. She quickly got me into an in patient program at a facility she was not familiar with. What she thought was a 30 day program turned out to be 7-10 days. She was well aware I could not go back to where I was staying after the program, but assured me not to worry about it. I tried to check that through a text during treatment, but I didn't hear back about it. When I was discharged, it took longer than expected so in the Uber on the way to her office I got a text saying she had to leave work early and we could get together the following day. I basically never heard from her again. I guess she didn't care for my reply. Eventually her boss had me work with the housing assistance director to put a roof over my head. Weeks later when she finally found me a bed, she was mistaken. She found me an interview for a bed. I didn't have addiction issues so I wasn't even a candidate. So, she went dark too. When I eventually texted and said stop looking, I'll figure it out, she replied saying that they found someplace that was perfect. It was a 2 year program, on a farm, for drug addiction issues. I had none. I don't know who's file she was looking at, I was looking for Mental Health support, not addiction support. I took care of it myself the following morning. They left me homeless and $3000 more in debt and couldn't even pick up the phone. Just a few useless texts prolonging my misery. I wish I'd never walked in there. They absolutely made my situation worse. Horrific.
HOLY YOU KNOW WHAT!!! That case worker I trusted, stupid me, didn't even check to see if the hospital she convinced me to go to was on my insurance!!!!! I'm not $3000 more in debt, it's closer to $22,000! Holy you know what! Now I have no choice but to seek legal assistance against them. Please, don't "help" me anymore!!!!!

Best Clinic I've ever been to Angela is awesome she always checks me in in a timely manner she is very good at her job and kind. The nurses are fast, caring, and understanding they don't get on a power trip like the past clinics I've been to. They actually, ask you about yourself and you can feel they are being genuine in the care they provide! Johnathan and the Dr both took great care of me throughout both My pregnancies made sure I was at my right dosage and they didn't do a fast taper after I had my girls which I appreciated very much so. The best and most amazing person there though I'd my counselor Carole she is more than just my counselor she's a support system I know I can count on and if I tell her my issues I know she's listening with open arms and she always gives me options and resources I can use. I've been with Carole off and on for going on 8 years at a previous clinic and this one she doesn't get enough credit for what she does and what she means to her clients. She's the heart at Comprehensive and we all know you can't live without your heart. She's gone above and beyond for me and I'm sure she does the same for all her other clients, it's just who she is. I can go on and on but the proof is in the results and I'm a testimony to this. Lastly Megan she is my sister in Faith she gives off hope encouragement and is quick to find you what resources you need. She is LITERALLY THE SWEETEST she always greets me and my daughters my Day is better when I see all the staff at Comprehensive. They've made it easy for me to get in and out and better mine and my children's life. If it wasn't for them my life would definitely have more struggles and obstacles. I can say when I'm in their care I'm in the best hands. I'd recommend this clinic to everyone and have. Thank you for your hard work Team.

Every new physiatrist I get is only there 4 3-4 months & then they leave without notifying me & my meds then never get refilled which is unacceptable. At this rate I'm going 2 end up in the emergency room cause of these incompetent people.

The best therapist I could have ever asked for! I have 2 of my children seeing Chuck and Jennifer and all I could say is I am so grateful for them. They are not just "therapist" they are genuine caring people. Growing up in therapy I always felt awkward and judged so I was iffy when looking for therapist for my girls. But my girls have a connection with them. They get excited to go see them and that just shows how great they are. Thank you so much Chuck and Jennifer you all are simply AMAZING ❤

I've been with them and their sister organization for several years now. Before I moved to Denver I contacted their sister organization and since then they've been part of my life. They've done things for me that I've never received from any other mental health organization. I've been able to make emotional connection with many of their staff members. They have a special place in my life. I highly recommend.

Thornton is the 155th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56930. This is comparable to the average cost of $56413 for addiction treatment in Colorado and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Thornton vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Thornton. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Thornton that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Thornton.
Cigna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Thornton, with 7 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 6 treatment centers accepting it followed by Humana in 3rd accepted by 5 drug rehabs.
Thornton has the 91st highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Adams county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Thornton or Adams county as a whole.
In 2023, Thornton had the 97th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 727 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Thornton. All values are per 100,000 population.
