I have been to this hospital several times for random reasons, but I have always been seen within 30 minutes of checking in. I can't say that about hospitals like Duke Emegency in Durham NC. The nurses and staff are attentive to your needs and organized. I have only had positive experiences at this hospital.

Ended up in the ER here after a bad accident with an Exacto knife. Everyone the front desk; the nurses, the doctors, the tech staff were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly and professional and treated me like an actual person. They saw me as quickly as they could, did everything they could do to make the situation as tolerable as possible, and got me in and out in like two hours. Honestly the most positive experience I ve ever had in an ER.

Went three years ago and they saved my life :) The staff is very caring about their clients, were clear and reasonable with their rules, and accommodating.

Our daughter was in desperate need of help. Her ED had gotten into a dangerous zone. Out patient therapy was just not enough to bridge the gap for us. We began looking for facilities and this one was semi close. Leaving your child can be very difficult and reading reviews I felt somewhat comfortable with this place.Ilida was really easy to work with. When we arrived, she went through all of the initial paperwork with us and made sure we understood everything before signing. While there our daughter was able to gain weight and understand her relationship with her body image and understand how her eating disorder affected that. The staff was great and quickly developed relationships that were therapeutic with my daughter- helping her use her DBT skills when she would get upset. As a mom, it does your heart good to know that when your child is upset, there is someone there to comfort them when you can t. She went in having withdrawn into herself, no longer enjoying activities she had previously enjoyed, and as previously mentioned, very sick. She discharged a healthy, happy kiddo! Enjoying activities she hadn t enjoyed in a long time!The only negative comments I have is that the house was in somewhat of a transition of staff upon our arrival. Our daughter was assigned a virtual therapist & virtual dietician. While both of these individuals were great, we would have much preferred in person facilitation. There were some lapses of communication a few times, but again, staff was/is in transition. When it s brought to their attention, they are quick to rectify this.At the end of the day, the good definitely outweighs the bad and if I had to do it all over again, I would send her there without hesitation. Actually at discharge, our daughter was in tears because while she wanted to come home, she was going to miss several of the staff!

i had a great experience at CFD. all the staffs are very nice and friendly. i highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a residential to stay at

As a professional who regularly refers clients to Sandstone in Virginia, I can confidently say their communication is top-notch and the quality of care they provide is exceptional. Truly a trusted partner in client care.

Getting help for your substance use is very personal and personalized. Everybody is gonna have different experiences. While asking for help and following through is not easy or necessarily fun, the team you work with is going to help you a lot. Sandstone helped me with the building blocks I needed to be alive today. Find the therapist and ppl who genuinely care and are serious. Addiction is not your fault but indeed your responsibility.

This place is amazing. I am in disbelief that a place like this exists and that it was available to me. Coming here was the best thing I ve ever done for myself. The staff from housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and clinical/ medical are not just employees. They care and are passionate about you and your journey.When I got here I was broken, ashamed, exhausted. My life was falling apart and I couldn t get out of my own way. They take you apart and help you examine yourself piece by piece. They are very good at what they do.I will forever be grateful for the ways that the CoE helped me, and grateful to myself for making the very difficult decision to come here.If you have questions, please reach out.

Where do I begin? When I came through the gate, I was broken (or as I've learned -- bruised). I was immediately let out of my car and met by two of my peers who whooshed me to admissions. From that point on, all I felt was acceptance, belonging, and that I was in a judgement-free zone.In my mind, I was broken, unrepairable, and had issues that no one could fix. Boy was I wrong. Whether it was in individual sessions with Remi (My Clinician), or group therapy with Dan, Pat, Ashley, Tiffany, Alanna, Kourtney, Kimberly, and others -- I was given the tools, grace, and ability to begin to fix myself.Plus, the clinicians aren't here to just get a paycheck. They genuinely CARE about the patients, you can literally feel that in the sessions.At my clinician's suggestion, I underwent EMDR treatment and literally felt chains being removed, and childhood trauma no longer had the power that it did on me before coming here.Insofar as the facilities, the station houses are comfy, the supporting staff are incredible, and the Fire every evening is the perfect place to unwind, and listen to your peers share their journey to what led them here to the COE.I could go on and on about how magical this place is, but Google doesn't have the bandwidth for me to sing my praises. I feel like every single person in the fire service would benefit from coming here.ONWARD!

I spent so much time talking to an amazing employee named Jade. She seemed like a therapist because she was so good at her job. She literally explained everything patiently. She literally Helped me in so many ways personally that I didn't expect. I'm excited and motivated about being a new patient at this facility. I was referred by a good.

Great group therapy and learned a lot of good applicable strategies to improve my ways of thinking.

I had a phenomenal experience at the Sandstone care alumni event. LeJeffrey Monica was a phenomenal program co-ordinator. She made some insightful remarks. She was really sweet and understanding. She, even, stayed with me while I waited for my ride to come, which I thought was really sweet and i really appreciated it. I had alot of fun doing Pearlers while chit-chatting with other alumni. Sandstone care was a a huge part of my healing journey. I was so enthusiastic to be there again. It was nice to be surrounded by peers who understand mental health struggles as well as the challenges associated with navigating the pyschiatric healthcare system and balancing mental health treatment with school and/or a job. Loved the event! Will strongly recommend! Would love to see alumnis from my time there and catch up in future events!

Absolute gem of a detox center. The staff are caring and knowledgeable, the treatment plans are effective, and they provide awesome post-care plans. Shout out Trip, Kevin, Wade, Audrey, Mrs Jackson and all of the other amazing people.

My journey started there. Many great counselors. A couple of them really should find another career, but nobody is perfect. I still believe they do there best.I urge anyone who is in need of help to call. I am very grateful to them. Addiction is fatal when untreated. The good news is early recovery is temporary as well as painful.Thank you

The experience is absolutely incredible, and excellent. I had a blast and it was very welcoming.

This was my first time in treatment. Honestly, it completely changed my life. The bonds that I ve made in this place, the sober network I ve built, getting my psych meds right, the entire staff and facilitators- have all been such an extraordinary experience for me. I never understood the difference between just being sober/clean versus actually working a program/recovery. RU has helped me to understand that recovery goes beyond clean time- and it s about changing who you are for the better and continuing to progress as a person overall. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has even the slightest desire to change their life for the better. Gold star all around! AND THANK YOU FOR CHANGING MY LIFE!

Recovery Unplugged was an amazing experience for myself who had tried treatment a bunch of other places and routes, it was truly my last stop. Wonderful staff and very engaging groups! Would recommend to any friends or family looking to get clean or follow up on their sober journey to check them out!!

Rca provides you with the tools needed to enter the world of recovery. I often attend the Alumni meeting on Thursdays it s awesome! RCA is now apart of my extended family!

We had an amazing time with our Alumni community at the Bowling Alley in Waldorf, so good to see recovery in action. RCA is growing in our effort to save one person at a time.

RCA saved my life! They have a wonderful inpatient and outpatient program. Such a great continual support even after discharge. The staff is amazing and facilities are good too.

We recently had an experience at Virginia Hospital that I feel compelled to share, especially given the circumstances surrounding my 91-year-old father's procedure. From the very beginning, the staff demonstrated a level of care and understanding that was truly remarkable.The process started with our ability to check him in the night before the procedure, which eased a lot of our worries. The nurses on the 6th floor, particularly Annabelle and Shoriyah, provided exceptional care on the first day. Their kindness and attentiveness made a significant difference during a stressful time.On the second day, after my father's procedure, we found ourselves in the ICU, where the nurses, doctors, and staff continued to impress us with their professionalism and compassion. Thank you to Shelby and Michael to name a few. They genuinely understood the challenges that come with my father's dementia. Unlike our experiences at Inova Fairfax and Inova Fair Oaks, where we often felt that the medical staff lacked patience and understanding, Virginia Hospital truly gets it. They recognized his agitation and combative behavior as part of his condition and treated him with the dignity and respect he deserves.It's clear that the staff at Virginia Hospital understands that the way you treat a patient is crucial. They provided not just medical care, but emotional support that made us feel relieved and reassured that our father was in good hands.I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care we received. Virginia Hospital has set a standard that we hope other facilities will aspire to. Thank you to everyone who played a part in my father's care!

Best service and best people working around!

I have been very happy with the care my 89 year old mother received. We had one small mishap - not serious- but did delay surgery. The hospital made it so right. I can't say enough about the entire staff of Arlington Hospital. Dr. Petersen is a very trusting surgeon. Lucky and blessed to get him. Would highly recommend this health care and hospital.

My experience at the freedom center when I first got there it was so opening and welcoming from the staff member Mary, Shannon, ginean, mac, Corey, sandy, and many more I have completed my journey with the with the freedom center I had ups and downs yes but I had to make them right now I am on my way to success on my walk of this journey with my man Dewight Demar whom I met in my recovery made my journey more successful

Came to the site to do a tour of the facility. Met the clinical director for the tour, would have given 5 stars but the front desk area was very messy and had a strange odor. This should be addressed soon since it is the first thing you see as you enter.

This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has Teenagers that s going through any kind of mental issues and need someone to talk to. If there were some kind of way to give them a 10 star rating I would.
