such a great program, the clients are well cared for and are able to volunteer. Grew up with most of the clients and staff and they are like family. Their events are super fun and have a lot of information.

An organization full of caring, motivated people who genuinely want to make a difference in the lives of others. It's a Black led nonprofit dedicated to caring for people with mental illness and intellectual disabilities. The work isn't glamorous, but someone has to do it, and the org tries hard to take care of its staff as well as its clients. Definitely one to watch!

Although sometimes busy especially with the new purple-line construction in part of the heart of downtown Silver Spring. Living around here has not been as challenging as one would expect . It maybe a little hectic to people traveling through. Expect to have to find out how to navigate. Once you reach your destination and finally parked. Whatever the visit is for from there should be a pleasant one.

Vesta Inc is one of the best things to happen to me. The team I've had over the last year plus has been surreal. Ms. Jesus makes sure I can get in with my med management team (Mo or others) or if any other admin situations occur. Beyond grateful for her. Sean as my Client Services partner has been a lifesaver on so many levels. As professional as we keep it, that's the homie and definitely a rock in my corner. My therapist, Allison, is so great that even virtual meetings make it feel like we are in the same room. I really can't say how blessed and fortunate I am for my support team. They deserve a raise, multiple accolades, and advance entrance into heaven. I wouldn't be here still fighting to figure things out if it wasn't for them.

I was 1 of the 1st 10 people when they opened 1970. It was pretty powerful. I remember the meetings the meals., the day my parents came to visit. I remember when I turned 18 they told me I had to leave.??? I The Black Panthers Angela Davis etc..

I have taken several program participants to various medical and mental health appointments over the years both in Virginia and in Maryland and was hands down super impressed with the staff at the CSB juvenile, adult, and emergency services. There was quite a wait for emergency services but each department communicated with each other and was so polite. Brian Stewart is one of the few names that we caught but he was phenomenal. The staff checked on us, fed us, and gave us blankets. We saw them touching base with some individuals who were clearly in crisis and they were just so patient and caring. Dr. Smith was our emergency services doc and I wish he could see people regularly because he was funny and he made my program participant feel heard. I have been with an individual to the primary care as well and enjoyed the collaboration with DO Pristell.

Aquila is a really solid program that helps a lot of people. They offer a lot of flexibility with group timing and provide a nice range of individual counseling services from r both substance abuse and mental health.

Update: Also very grateful to have found Jennifer Sims. She really took her time to explain various options and alerted me to potential prescription issues I was not aware of. I appreciate her down-to-earth nature and look forward to working with her in the future! Alexis Ryan is the first compassionate provider I have found in 15 years for medication management. She goes above and beyond with managing medications costs and is very responsive to emails. I am grateful to have found her!

I would say this is as close to "immediate" results as you can get in regards to mental health. After just one appointment, I have a clear vision and plan to start my healing, and the experience was very pleasant. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and I look forward to continuing my treatment with them. HIGHLY recommend.

I say this with no shame.I intentionally put my face on here,so that when my book is published,which already wrote with honest and trust about we all struggle ,rather in the church or not.This clinic has a lot of spiritual employees ,even my psychiatrist .I entered a mental health program QCI , I didn’t expect to feel more broken leaving it which was my taking responsibility of my part and that is expectations.. The company does care about mental wellness, but their focus needs to shift.having balance, seemed to be on diagnosis rather than understanding the human external issues and current expectations,behind why they need services. They based time on what was written on paper—labels like anxiety, mood disorder, depression which I have , gave me less time. in therapy—instead of what was actually going on in people’s lives at that very moment.They had no office space, only home visits.For someone like myself, I am a private person, that was uncomfortable. I didn’t want my neighbors in my business. I purposely avoided being home, for sessions because I needed a safe place to open up, not a drive by therapist . I just wanted a quiet room—a real office where healing felt private and safe.Over time, I I will admit Miss Tracy,but I did what no client should do and that grew close to my therapist because what they have made you fulfill.They are your theripist !!she is a really good therapist and it was like talking to homegirl She was the one who helped me keep it together and adjust coming back to the DMV ,when I got lonely ,I guess calling outside session ,so she dumped me 😂 😂 😂 . I guess after I said you remind me of my sister who has pushed me away ,but now getting close.Said she couldn't give me what I wanted whatever that means.Maybe her therapeutic approach is like talking to a friend/ Sister ,but I thought that was therapy about. They decided to switch me to someone new. It felt cruel and it was wrong on my part ,instead of her talking to me about talking about boundaries only to walk away half way though. She was already wanted to dump me lol 😂 as a client away which is all good. She helped me break Stronghold she had no idea I had. 1.My adopted mother had passed away.3/16/2023 2. I am battling a rare lung disease with only a few years to live, according to my palliative doctor but God say otherwise 3. My car was stolen when I moved back from Georgia. 4. My sister allowed me to live in my car for 30 days in July of 2023 until Aug 31 which was my birthday on , loosing my stolen,she Helped me through was that. I had a POSITIVE BLOOD pregnancy test But the moment my needs became “too much,” she let me go. No warning. No closure.. I felt abandoned, betrayed, and rejected—. , —I just needed fifteen more minutes. But instead, I was twisted into a complaint. I watched others with schizophrenia get longer sessions because they had “more severe” diagnoses, even though some had stable lives and family support no outside stressors. My world was chaos, In conclusion Miss Tracy Burton helped me to adjust back to DMV .I realized it's time to get another therapist to help you though because I did. One thing.,Miss Tracy Burton is a damn therapist don't judge she talking to you about something RANDOM the " BOOM" she ask HOW U DOING? You begin to open you up. She helped me to start trusting after a traumatic indecent that happened,that I never told to her , I grew close to her like a big sister that's where're I do know it was time to chance theripist.. BUT ITS ACKWARD.I FEEL LIKE A LOST PUPPY I actually opened up for first time my in life because. No trust issue all other theripist come in with pen and paper She came in communicating me as if I were an advantage person not like a patient/Client. .

My son receives services from QCI and the staff are great from his nurse to his therapist. We always receive texts and calls for appointment reminders.The staff is friendly and attentive to his healthcare needs.

QCI use to have good dependable therapist that would call and keep appointments, now you can barely get someone to answer the phone.I really regret referring a family member to them. They really dont have no concern for ones mental health issues.

Hillcrest has really been helping me. I’ve been with Hillcrest for many years, and they’ve supported me in so many ways from finding jobs to now helping me get my own apartment. The front desk staff is wonderful. Very helpful and understanding, especially when they are dealing with minors. As a parent, I do wish the doctor would spend more time with my child. But overall I am very happy with the outcome ,and the difference it's made .
