When it comes to healthcare and seeing doctors, some are good, some are bad. Well, I experienced the good side of service. Yesterday, at Virginia Hospital Center, I had an in-and-out procedure, and from the time I walked in until the time I left, every individual that came across my path was pleasant, and I enjoyed my experience while I was there. My doctor was amazing. From the anesthesiologists to the nurses, everyone was pleasant. The front desk lady at check-in was also awesome. I'd have to say, if I do have to come back, which I hope I never do, I hope I can get the same service that I received yesterday. 😊 #Healthcare #Experience #Doctors #Nurses #Hospital

I want to express my deepest gratitude to every doctor, nurse, nursing assistant, therapist, chaplain, and staff member who cared for my beloved mom during her stay at VHC Health Arlington from June 14 until she peacefully passed away on July 8.
My dad and I stayed by my mom’s side every single day throughout her hospitalization. We witnessed extraordinary compassion, kindness, patience, and professionalism shown by every member of your team. During the most heartbreaking time of our lives, you didn’t just care for my mom , you cared for our entire family. You comforted us, answered our questions, and made us feel supported every step of the way.
A very special thank you goes to Dr. Malik. We will never forget your kindness compassion, patience, and the time you spent with us. You answered every question we had with kindness and helped us understand what was best for my mom. You guided us through incredibly difficult decisions with honesty, empathy, and respect. Your support meant more than words can express.
I would also like to recognize Nurse Karim on the 3rd Floor, Room 329. Your kindness, gentle care, and compassion brought so much comfort to my mom and to our family. We will always remember the respect and dignity with which you cared for her.
A very heartfelt thank you to Nurse Nhien, who was with us on the day my mom passed away. During one of the hardest moments of our lives, your kindness, compassion, and gentle presence brought us so much comfort. We will never forget your warmth and the peace you brought to us that day.
To every nurse who cared for my mom on the third floor thank you. Whether you worked during the day or overnight, every one of you treated my mom with kindness, love, dignity, and respect. You made sure she was comfortable, spoke to her with compassion, and cared for her as if she were your own family. You also took the time to comfort my dad and me, and that is something we will never forget.
Thank you to every physician, nursing assistant, therapist, chaplain, housekeeping staff, and everyone behind the scenes. Every one of you played a role in making my mom’s final days peaceful and surrounded by compassionate care.
Although losing my mom has been the greatest heartbreak of my life, I find comfort knowing she was cared for by such extraordinary people.
The third floor, especially Room 329, will always hold a special place in my heart. It became much more than a hospital room it became a place where my mom was surrounded by love, dignity, compassion, and exceptional care during the final chapter of her life. My dad my brother my sister law and I spent every day there with her, I stayed every night with my mom and those memories, along with the incredible people we met, will stay with us forever.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for caring for my mom and for caring for us. Your compassion made an unbearable time a little easier, and my family will be forever grateful.
May God bless each and every one of you for the incredible work you do every day. You are truly angels in scrubs, and we will never forget you.🙏❤️
With heartfelt gratitude,

I was recommended this place by a close friend and I would highly recommend this place to any and everybody struggling with addiction! I spent most of my twenty's going to swanky upscale rehabs in South Florida and this place can compete with the best of them. The staff and counselors genuinely care about the patients and you will never be hungry, the food is great! This place is just the first stepping stone in your recovery to get you stabilized after using and I promise you they're great at doing so!!

If u guys want the help they will help you. But they are not going to chase after you to give you the help! You have to show that you’re willing to fix your addiction or you’re just basically using this place for housing. I been to this rehab twice and thank god I got the help I needed on my second trip. So stop giving this place a 1star review because your family member got kick out! Do you even understand how hard it is to get kick out of that place? I had a great experience and this was my 4th treatment center. It’s not a cookie cutter program and felt very comfortable and welcomed. Since I left I’m still involved with the stuff they do in after care and alumni activities which are great ways to stay connected to a lot of people who truly are still putting in the work to stay sober and a lot of us have become close friends and hang out a few times a week. It’s not uptight like a lot of places which is very helpful in early recovery, the music aspect is great even if you don’t play any instruments, and the housing setup is great as well. The rules are pretty simple. No vaping inside (at the center) and you can’t have your phone during group lol pretty reasonable. Otherwise there’s still a sense of normalcy. Highly recommend to anyone who’s ready to make that 1st big step! I was a bit apprehensive at first and couldn’t be more grateful that I did it. I haven’t felt this good in 20 years!

I honestly don’t know where I would be today without this recovery center. Attending PHP and IOP here has truly been one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made, and I can genuinely say that this place helped save my life.
When I came here, I was struggling in ways that are difficult to put into words. I wasn’t sure what my future was going to look like, and I didn’t know if I had it in me to keep fighting. But the staff here met me where I was, showed me compassion when I needed it most, and reminded me that recovery is possible—even on the days when I couldn’t believe it myself.
I especially want to recognize Mary, Josh, Brittany, Ifadel, Janina, Heather, Kevin, Brittany and Fredricko. Each of you has made an impact on me in your own way, and I will forever be grateful for the time, patience, encouragement, and genuine care you’ve shown me. You didn’t just treat me like another patient—you treated me like a person who mattered.
This experience has given me tools, perspective, hope, and most importantly, a reason to keep moving forward. I still have work to do, but I’m not the same person who walked through those doors.
To everyone at this recovery center: thank you for helping me find my way back to myself. I will never forget what you’ve done for me.

They are the best substance abuse help i have ever had, and I have had my share. They always take care of me. Maybel always makes me laugh and it messes with my blood pressure all the time (that's my excuse). Dona always has on fresh kicks and I'm jealous. Stephanie will always make sure I'm good, making sure I take care of my self. She really cares which is rare in my experience. Fatima digs and makes me deal when I don't want when I know I need to. Vienna, VA | Embark Behavioral Health at Tysons Corner, in Vienna, Virginia, offers addiction and behavioral health services to boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 17. They offer several levels of care which all fall under the category of outpatient care. These include standard outpatient care, intensive outpatient care and partial hospitalization care. T | Treatments Payment Options | I recently had the opportunity to visit Embark Behavioral Health, and one of the first things that stood out is how convenient the Tysons location is—easy to access, yet set in a way that still feels calm and contained.
From the moment I walked in, the space felt intentional and genuinely welcoming—something that’s not always easy to achieve in behavioral health settings. There’s a thoughtful balance here: it’s structured and clearly designed to support meaningful work, while still feeling open, comfortable, and human.
What stood out most to me was how the environment supports both focus and connection. There are defined spaces to get things done, but nothing feels closed off or isolating. There’s a sense that people are visible, supported, and part of something shared—whether that’s during structured programming or more informal moments of social connection.
Meeting members of the team only reinforced that impression. Everyone I interacted with was engaged, grounded, and clearly invested in the work they’re doing. It gave me confidence not just in the program itself, but in the experience clients and families would have navigating it day to day.

Came to the site to do a tour of the facility. Met the clinical director for the tour, would have given 5 stars but the front desk area was very messy and had a strange odor. This should be addressed soon since it is the first thing you see as you enter.

I was referred here from a previous facility due to a change in coverage I had. I had no idea where in Maryland I was going but that didn’t matter, they came to me and others states away, provided transportation or would have paid for an uber. Huge relief.
I came to an almost large mansion like building that had chefs on staff, access to doctors and nurses 24/7, a bed and hot shower. Exactly what I needed for where I was in life, if I had those I was doing better than I was.
When it comes to curriculum and facilities, they have the best organized classes and group structure I and others who told me form experience they have seen. We have a lot of fun, a lot of freedom in choice of what I NEED in my recovery. Outings after your reach a certain point in the program. Entertainment at night and weekend.
I pray whoever see’s this and has doubts or question should they come or even do they need to, just come. Let them take over and manage your life for a little bit and you will be paid 10 fold in you ROI.

Where to even start, my experience there was amazing. The staff always treated me with the utmost respect, support, and care. The patients were the most supportive people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Everyone there made me feel safe, secure, and cared for. Special shoutout to Darryl, Jessica, Antoine H, (who always had a moment for me, thank you Sir), the detox unit nurses and especially the BHTs who showed me so much support and love. I can’t recommend this facility enough. They hold their staff to a standard and it shows.
