My wife had to have emergency surgery for appendicitis, and we’re so glad we ended up at VHC. From the very beginning, everyone was kind, professional, and made us feel taken care of.
A huge thank you to Dr. C. Mangalmurti and Dr. M. Doctor-Smith, our surgeons, for their skill and expertise. We also want to express our gratitude to Dr. E. Deacu, our anesthesiologist, who made the entire process smooth and reassuring.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Amanda and DeeDee, our nurses on Surgical Unit 4A — you were incredible! Not only great at what you do, but also such caring and wonderful people.
We’re really grateful to the whole team at VHC for turning a stressful situation into such a positive experience.

If u guys want the help they will help you. But they are not going to chase after you to give you the help! You have to show that you’re willing to fix your addiction or you’re just basically using this place for housing. I been to this rehab twice and thank god I got the help I needed on my second trip. So stop giving this place a 1star review because your family member got kick out! Do you even understand how hard it is to get kick out of that place? This is an outpatient treatment center but that doesn’t mean they only offer one type of outpatient p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Kolmac didn’t just help me overcome addiction—they helped me reclaim my life. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was met with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. What makes Kolmac stand out is their deep understanding that addiction is often rooted in more than just substance use. Through their program, I learned critical skills like emotional regulation, which helped me better understand and navigate my feelings, triggers, and responses—not just in recovery, but in every area of my life.
Two people in particular made an incredible impact on my journey: Jeff Starr and Angel Darrow. Jeff’s steady presence, clinical expertise, and ability to challenge me with empathy helped me stay grounded during some of my most difficult days. Angel brought a level of authenticity and insight that opened the door to healing I didn’t think was possible. She has a unique gift for guiding people through the painful parts of their past with strength and grace.
Kolmac helped me face not just the addiction, but the trauma and emotional wounds I had carried for years. I’m leaving with tools, hope, and a sense of peace I never thought I’d find. I’m endlessly grateful for the care and guidance I received here.
If you’re struggling and looking for a path forward, I can’t recommend Kolmac enough.
