This place is a place where angels work. My husband and I were desperate to get away from the addict lifestyle and needed help doing it. We were able to get into Frederick Institute extremely fast. Most places like this only do what they do because it's a job and most people who go to them only go to get high and/or don't take it seriously. The people here made us both feel human again. We felt loved. We felt cared for, and it was the first time in a long time we had people give a shit about us besides each other. We had lost everything not due to drugs but simply bad luck and needed to feel like we weren't alone in this world. Amanda at Frederick Institute was the head angel here. We will forever be grateful and she will forever have a special place in our hearts. The clients here also seem to be a special breed as they all seemed to want to be better. This place is HIGHLY recommended. We had to stop going here and start in Martinsburg as Frederick is just too far but they made the switch easy.....easier than they had to. They genuinely are amazing humans and if it were possible, we'd make the hour drive there and back to continue here. We miss and love you guys and appreciate you all!!!

It s been a year since I last saw Melissa and every day, I m reminded of the good that she s brought to my life. Melissa was the very first counselor I ever went to and in my fear, I was met with grace, kindness and a listening ear. Because of the way Melissa intentionally listened and asked thoughtful probing questions, I felt seen, heard and known. It has been the privilege of my life getting to be known by Melissa, especially through the pandemic. No matter how full her schedule was, I knew that entering into our time together meant I was walking into a safe space. The hour always passed by too quickly and I always left feeling lighter and braver. Melissa is kind and warm, sunshine personified, and I am a better person because of her care and insights. Thank you, Melissa and the Brook Lane team for creating this safe space in our community, I m forever grateful!

I was diagnosed with chronic depression after my mom passed away in 2006 and was having a very hard time finding a therapist that I was comfortable with. Emily Cunningham was the first therapist I tried at Brooklane and I had a good vibe on the first session. I've gone through several therapists and Emily is the first therapist I've had in years who I look forward to sessions with.I did have a negative experience with one of the psychiatrists and asked to transfer to someone else. The process only took an approval and I was put with someone else for my very next session.

Their treatment combines a residential program with an intensive outpatient program so clients can participate in therapy f | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I give this rehab 5 stars simply because of the way the program is designed for the client to be able to hold himself accountable for his own actions something that as addicts we failed to do...this place is about discovering and instilling change into individuals who lacked it...best of all it allows you to choose a way of recovery beneficial to you it's not a one size fit all program it's what ever works for you and thats the beauty of it I myself would recommend this program to the masses who want to and/or are trying to get clean...sure every program has its drawbacks and this one is no exception but the good far out weighs the bad on any day...an old African proverb says " "It takes a village to raise a child" and thats what you get here an entire team working to help you help yourself be the best representation of yourself that you can ever be...Recovery is work your only gonna get out of it what you put in it....

This program saved my life. I am forever grateful and truly blessed to have been able to come to this program. I have been in many inpatient and outpatient programs over many years in Florida and Maryland- This program gave me structure, balance, cared for ALL of my basic human needs, taught me how to help myself, gave me hope, taught me how to have faith, learned to love myself, be accountable, allowed me to choose what type of network /self help group would work for me, then took a chance on allowing ME to be apart of another incentive type program so I could continue to serve others here at Gail Recovery/ Wells Inc. At some point I have to close this review, But honestly I could go on for pages because with out them- I would have been long gone, or lost. The hardest part was reaching out and asking someone to help me.

Frederick is the 175th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56347. This is comparable to the average cost of $56783 for addiction treatment in Maryland and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Frederick vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Frederick. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Frederick that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Frederick.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Frederick, with 4 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. CareFirst is the 2nd most popular with 4 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 4 drug rehabs.
Frederick has the 58th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Frederick county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Frederick or Frederick county as a whole.
In 2023, Frederick had the 219th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 256 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Frederick. All values are per 100,000 population.
