Thank you New Mexico wellness! New Mexico wellness is a great place to get treatment. You are able to discuss the issues that cause you to drink. You get more than lessons on breathing, mindfulness and emotional regulation. You get true care and support. I was discharged early due to my dishonest behavior. However I have been out for 5 days now and have not had a drink. Every other rehab I've been to I either had a drink the same day or the day after I left. I have true hope for my future. They have medically assisted treatment for both alcohol and narcotics. I highly recommend New Mexico wellness. They're not perfect but neither is anybody or any place. I got what I needed to stay sober for the rest of my life I truly do thank New Mexico wellness and all the staff.

I’ve been coming to New Mexico Treatment Center for some time now there’s been a lot of staff that have came an gone it’s sad just when we start to open up to these counselors the next week they’re gone .Theres a few really good counselors up stairs .Theres 1 Dedicated to Her patience the most is Darlene, any time anyone has questions or concerns she’s on it. She goes above & beyond for her patience helps get dog food donated for those who are homeless with animals. They didn’t have security when I first started coming now they do it’s helped, u just have those without any where to go so yes they do hang around . I think they’re should be more programs that are hands on because Being an addict is one thing and for some it’s even harder for some to sit in a room full active users it makes it hard for those who are taking their sobriety serious. Keep up the fight to end addiction.

It can be quite difficult to get into Santa Fe Recovery Center(SFRC) through traditional means. I suggest making a visit to a Santa Fe hospital emergency room and telling the doctor you want to go to SFRC detox. These patients are given priority. I found Santa Fe Recovery to be the best detox I have attended in long list of treatments attempted in new mexico. With the help and support of SFRC I was able to launch the longest period of clean time I have achieved to date. I most certainly recommend it. There is no magic pill or program that will fix an addict. There's no cure for addiction. There is only treatment, which, with the full participation of the addict, can be of great assistance in regaining a happy and healthy life. If you encounter a problem that threatens your detox or recovery you must advocate for yourself. You cannot expect people to read your mind. Any current medications must be reviewed and documented by a doctor at the time of entrance. Make sure staff has this documentation before beginning detox to prevent any interruption of dosing. Otherwise it'll have to be re- prescribed by their doctor who is very busy, so this may take 5 days or more. If someone asks you to take a medication you are allergic to Do Not Take It! Inform or repeat the issue to staff. They do not force medication in your mouth and compel you to swallow it. Do not expect to get along with every single staff member; they are people just like us; sometimes with personalities that clash with our own. Avoid staff that upset you or make you uncomfortable when possible. Tell your counselor the situation. They can advise the best course of action. Do not expect any staff member to work harder for you than you do for yourself; no one can do this for you. Even if detox/rehab doesn't go the way you had hoped or you are not able maintain recovery at worst you were able to achieve a bit of clean time(which is no small thing) and you know where to come back when you're ready. Or where not to come back and try another program. Just keep trying. Our worst and most compleat failures are the goals we never attempt to reach

Started seeing Jennifer ramon in 2020. She's amazing and treats her patients like she cares. These days I'm currently seeing Sara Martin and I just cant say enough good things about her. She truly cares about her patients and it shows. I've NEVER EVER had any issues nor do I have any complaints about the Dr's. The front desk is another story. I feel this position should be given to someone with patients .understanding and just kind...that should be a requirement for the job...and we the people should not even have to be saying this. I began much-needed individual therapy this month at New Mexico Solutions. It has helped my interior life substantially already. I want to mention two qualities that stand out. The first was what has helped me the most. I have worked thus far with Alexa Brown who is doing a phenomenal job taking me seriously. I struggle with the impression that the people around me do not, on even the most fundamental level, have any respect for me, and, as I unravel myself in order to heal the parts of myself about which I'm most ashamed, Alexa's unwavering validation has been invaluable. I could not have asked for a person with whom it is easier to speak. The second was the ease by which I have been able to access therapy. I found it surprising that I could manage to fit anything at all into my schedule, given how much I've struggled to access other forms of healthcare since moving to New Mexico. Many thanks to the staff at New Mexico Solutions for making the process easy.

The doctors at this clinic are the Best: Lexy, Teresa, and the others whose names I don't know, but the receptionists are the worst. They have no education or common sense when dealing with people. They are very rude and don't help you at all. It's as if the clinic belonged to them and they decide who gets treated and who doesn't.

Strange how we come to these places for assistance, for them to extort us, *rob us, Pepper Spray us (at the soup kitchen location, Two Male guards, taking my skateboard (with guys with Machetes?), and one swung on me, and Stole my Skull Candy head phones, *3D SECURITY). Who I called and decided to do nothing, not even return my call? A Doctor at this clinic told me while I was crying my first time having bed bugs so bad from the shelter I was staying at (*COMPASSION CENTER ☠️), that, "I need to just use the shampoo and stop crying, because she grew up on this side and She had bed bugs in elementary." While the whole staff laughed at me and made me sit isolated, I've never seen any other person treated this way. I had a brain injury and I had a lot of trauma, thankfully for neuroplasticity and therapy I healed. But I can't help but think of when you guys made me put my backpack outside of the bathroom cuz that's your guys's policy. And the same security guard who attacked me at the soup kitchen stole my backpack with the only $200 that would have kept me in from getting the bed bugs usually humiliated me over later on. I also was emotional because I had my child at the same shelter with me, just got off a 9-hour shift, and also and bullied that the shelter I was at. They don't help you, there's some kind of hierarchy politician situation going on, with the resources. They will email you and say if you collect such documents they can get you a hotel voucher, because you have a child and an active restraining order, and the part of their domestic violence program. But every time you get such documents they'll say that you missed the deadline, then wait for you to come by so they can collect your items as you use the only restroom, you've been able to find for a while. Places like this take more from us and I think they understand, we have to make peace with never having materials because we understand that people behind different positions or in the power to remove those from us. It's never ours anyways, and you make one human step, and upset your worker. I'm indigenous too, not from this part of Earth, but everyone else I've met, who is worth knowing, understood that. A bigoted place that only helps people when they're about to get caught, and people so grateful they would never speak of things that they witnessed. I suffered because of ignorance, and people counting on it being a self-induced, mental state they were dealing with. They have no integrity at all, at first I was thinking why would God have me go through this? But maybe it was so I could be a voice when I heal, it's like the beginning of Texas chainsaw. Just noticed the strange subtle things that don't sit right, and follow that.
Honesty. I'll do it.

Where to start. I am very livid with the way this "Facility" handles Patients/Family. From the initial contact call made last Friday, Assessment process on Monday, to the "Acceptance" call Today from "Erin Soki" (excuse my spelling, who calls herself Admissions whatever). She called today advising my daughter was accepted and had a bed ready for her. From my assessment held on Monday 10/29/18, I had received one call from the Assessor asking one more question the "Doctor" wanted to know. He advised he would be in contact. (Mind you, this man Joseph Webb, was not prepared for anything. Making me sign here and there without providing me with the documents I was signing I received!?!) No call received regarding her diagnosis. So, I advised Erin that I was still waiting on a call for results she rudely talks over me, stating, "We don't give you results from assessments. An assessment is when you give us information!" Okay. I am very educated nor am I delayed. I can comprehend conversations. Because my daughter is need of "help", do not undermine me or ANY parent for that matter! How freaking rude. She continues to ask if I wanted the bed for my daughter. And I continue to tell her, "I need to know what they are planning to treat her for before I consent to treatment!" So she then states, "if you are not going to take the bed we need to move on to the next child." Me to Erin, "You should move on to the next child because you are crazy to think I would allow my child to go there without proper information on why you are going to keep her there!" So after she had agreed to provide me with the "Diagnosis" FROM the "Assessment" she hangs up. The whole time she is very rude. Speaks with so much attitude I thought she was ready to get physical over the phone! Like what!? You are a worker! This is a place of Employment. "Professionalism" is seriously lacking at this poorly ran Facility. And this is my 3rd encounter. I can imagine the care the children receive. I am starting to think they are in it for the insurance money only. Not interested in providing our children with the proper care they require. So. I call back, I need to know her name! She answers. I ask, "Are you the person I was just speaking to?" Her, "Yes!" Me: "Okay, who is your supervisor?" "Crystal Esperanza, I can transfer you to her" Me: "No need, I just need her number... And...." *TRANSFER* This. Female. I just need my diagnosis for my daughter! I called "Crystal Esperanza" after leaving "Erin Soki" a message advising I did not appreciate her rude manners, I needed the diagnosis for my daughter, if she was incapable of being nice and professional do not call me back. Parents. We are going through a lot with our children. We do not deserve Service like this. They are very Unprofessional. I will be damned if any person or facility treats me this way. Let alone be able to provide care for my child who cannot advocate for herself. Imagine how they treat our children when we leave them in their care. ? No. Thanks. Staff who work directly with the children. Hats off to ya! The people you have to deal with that sign them paychecks or you have to see... 💩😤

Terrible service. Front desk agents have attitudes and are more concerned with their side conversations than the well being of the patients. Unprofessional and a terrible environment to be sick in.

This is from my experience back in 2021ish. I was 15, in the youth ward admitted for being suchidal. When I was there, it was like a big daycare. I liked the nurses a lot, honestly, they were caring and fun. Place was clean and there was a big tv/play structure outside.

Thanks for helping our Veterans coming home with PTSD. My husband is a Navy veteran with PTSD. Got him a German Shepherd in 2020. I knew this breed well and she is a self trained PTSD dog. God bless you all

I was thrilled to be accepted into the program with my loyal pup, who barely met the age requirement. But then the pandemic hit, putting my seat on hold until the shutdown ended. I reached out multiple times after Covid and unfortunately, I never received any updates on my seat. I still hold onto hope that this organization will regain its footing and provide the support our veterans deserve, regardless of their political affiliations. It's crucial that we uplift and empower all veterans, and I trust that this organization will rise to the challenge. It’s now almost five years since the shutdown.

I've been working with trish for nearly 3 years. I've been in therapy since I was 7. I never got help like I did with trish. I came to her a shattered soul really just lost to the world. She breathed life into me. I cqnt explain it any other way. I'm no longer under any legal obligation to see her. I do tho. I've been seeing her a whole year now with no order. I just keep soaking up her support. She's not just my Dr she's been my light. I wanna encourage anyone lost and broken to give these guys a chance they really did help me.
