Thank you New Mexico wellness! New Mexico wellness is a great place to get treatment. You are able to discuss the issues that cause you to drink. You get more than lessons on breathing, mindfulness and emotional regulation. You get true care and support. I was discharged early due to my dishonest behavior. However I have been out for 5 days now and have not had a drink. Every other rehab I've been to I either had a drink the same day or the day after I left. I have true hope for my future. They have medically assisted treatment for both alcohol and narcotics. I highly recommend New Mexico wellness. They're not perfect but neither is anybody or any place. I got what I needed to stay sober for the rest of my life I truly do thank New Mexico wellness and all the staff.

I love TPRC! They have so many options and help during the recovery process! Super grateful for all the staff! I wouldn’t be at my point of sobriety without the help and encouragement from TP 🙏🏻 Also to mention the super cool amenities they have to offer at the wellness center! I’m 143 days sobriety, I now have full custody of my daughter, and I am graduating with the class of Jan 2026 in the medical billing and coding! I could not have done it without my support team and everyone in my tool box from TPRC. I am forever grateful to everyone on my journey. They are truly amazing team! I’ve been coming to New Mexico Treatment Center for some time now there’s been a lot of staff that have came an gone it’s sad just when we start to open up to these counselors the next week they’re gone .Theres a few really good counselors up stairs .Theres 1 Dedicated to Her patience the most is Darlene, any time anyone has questions or concerns she’s on it. She goes above & beyond for her patience helps get dog food donated for those who are homeless with animals. They didn’t have security when I first started coming now they do it’s helped, u just have those without any where to go so yes they do hang around . I think they’re should be more programs that are hands on because Being an addict is one thing and for some it’s even harder for some to sit in a room full active users it makes it hard for those who are taking their sobriety serious. Keep up the fight to end addiction.

It's a state run facility so you will encounter; individuals court ordered to treatment who don't really care, homeless who just want a place to stay and temporarily detox, staff members on a power trip that will take every opportunity to put you down and threaten you. But if you are serious about your recovery, there are a dozen staff members In recovery who will move heaven and earth to support you, Find them utilize them take in their wisdom. While everyone else is working at TLH for a paycheck they are working there for you. They won't force you to get clean or use the coping skills but if you ask for help you can bet your butt they will be the first in line to give it to you. Staff in recovery you know who you are thank you

New Season's is the best MAT program in Albuquerque, hands down. I've been to a couple, but NS treats me like a human instead of a way to make money or just another face. Nick is amazing and helped me through some tough times while traveling for my job while getting treatment. 10/10! The rest of the staff is also just as amazing. I am using this program to help get off of a pain medication for a chronic health condition. The entire staff has helped me every step of rhe way, even though they knew I didn't want to stay on Methadone either.

I’m new to both The Evolution Group and in-person therapy in general, but so far the experience has been… lovely. The space is like a protective compound of renovated homes with a central peaceful garden and multiple therapy spaces. It feels safe, comfortable, and thoughtful. The staff have made the process simple… like checking into a spa. My therapist, Crystal, is patient, warm, personable, and genuinely listens. I’ve only had 2 sessions, but all of the worry and anxiety of being in a new environment and situation melted away during the first session. We haven’t started the work of therapy just yet, but I’m optimistic about the journey given the amazing start. Update: Seven months later and I'm still very much impressed. Crystal is a wonderful therapist and a beautiful soul. I'll be honest, the first 4 months felt like a rinse and spin cycle. That's just my experience of the process, but the team there made it easy to be a patient. Something strange... that place feels familiar and safe, like going home (in a good way). I continue to refer coworkers here.

My Experience in a Questionable Rehab Program I hesitated to write this for a long time, but sharing it has helped me find closure. A few years ago, I entered what I believed to be a structured 30-day rehabilitation program. From the start, the environment felt unusually restrictive — communication with family was limited and monitored, and group meetings often felt more performative than supportive. After completing the initial program, I moved into the affiliated sober-living facility, where the culture became increasingly controlling and emotionally intense. The program emphasized “accountability” in ways that often crossed personal boundaries and blurred the lines between discipline and control. Residents were required to report their whereabouts constantly, attend multiple mandatory meetings each day, and publicly disclose personal issues in group settings that sometimes felt more punitive than therapeutic. Leadership maintained tight control over daily routines and communication, creating an atmosphere of fear and dependency rather than recovery. Ultimately, I was dismissed from the program for reasons I found unclear and disproportionate. The experience left me emotionally drained but also deeply reflective. It taught me a great deal about personal boundaries, the importance of ethical treatment environments, and how easily “help” can become coercion when power is misused. While it was painful, the experience strengthened my sense of autonomy and empathy for others navigating recovery. I share this not to assign blame, but to encourage discernment and transparency in organizations that claim to help vulnerable people.

I came to New Seasons North 15 months ago, my family wasn't speaking to me and I didn't have any place to live. After about 20 years of trying to recover I had not only figured but was also told that I was "treatment resistant". Hopeless to say the least is exactly how I felt when I first came to New Seasons North. That's when I first met Jason Jackson who was one of the only persons to tell me otherwise. After talking with him on a daily basis along with his encouragement and guidance, I finally realized there is no such thing as "treatment resistant" After a little over a year of persistence and working I finally have my own place but most important I have my family back. Thanks for all your help Jason. Anyone feeling hopeless should give this place a try!!

Honestly? I didn't have a horrible experience here. Unlike Central Desert, they were actually able to wash your clothes and give them back within a day, and gave you the correct clothes. I hate Central Desert. It was a pretty calm environment, safe, relatively clean, the patients seemed chill enough. Bed wasn't uncomfortable. The staff was nice, some nicer than others, it sort of felt like they were overworked. I have epilepsy and some nurses took their sweet time giving me their meds, which irked me. Again unlike Central, they had about 3 cell phones on which you could call anyone you liked, and there wasn't a strict time limit as long as there wasn't someone waiting to use the phone. The meals were like hospital food. Visitation was every day for one hour which was great!! (Again, unlike Central Desert, where visitation was one day a week for 15 minutes, what a joke.) So, if you're going through a crisis and need to be stabilized like I was, Haven is probably your best bet in ABQ. They unfortunately didn't have an outdoor area and it was a lil smaller than Central.

Haven has helped change my life and. The inpatient program is a safe environment that you can start feeling like yourself again in. But let me tell you about the PHP and the IOP . Havens Outpatient programs have saved my life and changed me completely, helping me learn everyday skills and have structure for my life which has giving it so much more meaning. They have amazing staff and an amazing medication Dr who will actually listen and get you where you need to be . I HIGHLY recommend the outpatient program after your stay or even if you don't need inpatient firstly. They have helped me in ways I thought could never happen and I'm not even hyping them right now .

I so much appreciate what TLS has been doing for the community for many years. TLS has clients that have been in the program for over 30 years. I believe the staff truly cares about the clients and does their best. We help a difficult population and do great work. The clients and staff are some of the most wonderful people I have had the opportunity to work with. Thank you TLS!
