This place was the beginning of the rest of my life. Please PLEASE reach out to them if you re struggling with getting and staying sober and have no idea where to start. From my very first appointment I was filled with hope. They recognized the grave danger I was to myself and I started an addiction group that very next day. I like to say everyone including others in the group loved me until I could love myself. At the time, that s what I needed. The groups were raw and real. No sugar coating so you can really get to the root of your addiction. They treat you with kindness and respect. They know when to challenge you to help you help yourself. When I started here I was so far in my addiction I didn t think I could get out. A seed was planted. I wanted sobriety so bad even if I didn t know how to get it. I promised myself May 17th, 2018 that I didn t want to feel that way anymore and even though I didn t know how, I would figure it out along the way. I m now coming up on 4 years of sobriety! At 28, I graduated with my GED and I m now enrolled in college to help others like how A New Awakening helped me. Give this place a chance. They might just be the beginning of the rest of your life.

Thank you New Mexico wellness! New Mexico wellness is a great place to get treatment. You are able to discuss the issues that cause you to drink. You get more than lessons on breathing, mindfulness and emotional regulation. You get true care and support. I was discharged early due to my dishonest behavior. However I have been out for 5 days now and have not had a drink. Every other rehab I've been to I either had a drink the same day or the day after I left. I have true hope for my future. They have medically assisted treatment for both alcohol and narcotics. I highly recommend New Mexico wellness. They're not perfect but neither is anybody or any place. I got what I needed to stay sober for the rest of my life I truly do thank New Mexico wellness and all the staff.

Anyway I m down to 20 mg from 160 and this is the only clinic that actually was willing to work with me, and the staff was friendly, even though I was very rude so I would say this is the first methadone clinic I found where they actually seem to care about their patients and not just the money I would highly recommend to anyone having an issue at another clinic. They were professional, friendly and could ve just turned me away, but helped instead

I was very surprised by this facility, they said the people start lining up at 7am but I didn't see anyone in line when I got there and that was at 7:30 so I had hoped it wouldn't be an all day deal. And that it was but in a good way. I got to meet Adam which is now my PCP for a short time, he will be transferring for personal reasons in a few months, but enough of that. Turned out to be one of the most successful days of my life, my PCP actually cared actually listened, actually looked me in the eye when he asked me questions or made suggestions, I actually felt like I was on the same level as he was, and that felt amazing. It didn't feel like he was above me like some providers tend to seem just from being at an authority level for so long. We actually had a conversation about my pain, my feelings and my state of mind. This may seem like a little exaggeration but if you have ever experienced chronic pain it's everything. I hate to see him go because the trust will be short lived and I struggle with change, but I think to be able to feel security with your Doctor at any level is a gift. So thank you Adam, I hope your transfer is successful for you and your family I know you both need it, I had a couple of daycare's in the very place your going and believe me it felt good to be the helper instead of the one being helped. Good Luck

I left a pretty bad review about 5 years ago. I decided to stay at Duke City and have had a few bad problems since. Really bad staff like them messing up my insurance payments and trying to blame me.But......This place is a big part of the reason I'm going to be sober for 10 years in August. It's the reason I have take homes and live a normally relative life. The reason I can hold good jobs. The reason I'm not dead in a gutter. So with that being said, things change. I've seen a LOT of change over the years. About 5 years ago a very overzealous counselor finally left, she was a good counselor but far too influential with management and defensive of really stupid policies like the early open access. Like I said things have changed a lot. Groups are optional now. You can do counseling over the phone. Good stuff. Just.. stay on top of any payment plan you have. And I strongly recommend not using private insurance because billing seems to work with medicaid 99% of the time and any time I've tried to use Cobra insurance or private insurance they have screwed it up and I end up on a payment plan. I still never got reimbursed by the way. They must owe me two or three checks over the years but what ever.My top concern is that I get my treatment. And I do. My counselor calls me. I get my medicine. Things are okay. So i changed my review from a one to a four after 5 years. I think that is fair.I do wish however that they use a nurse to do the observed UAs. Nothing against the security guards but it feels like I'm in a parole office rather than a treatment center. I'm here voluntarily. I also don't appreciate it when I have legitimate trouble peeing and the workers immidiately go straight for the stick and say "oh well we can just mark you as a dirty"If you actually look at my record I haven't had a dirty since I started treatment nearly a decade ago. Why would I want a dirty now? I just need to drink some water you fool...Other than that, things are good. The clinic is in a good space. Best in years. I strongly recommend management take the win and try not to dramatically change things because this is their peak. Best they have been in years. Keep it up. Please. I can't go back go pre pandemic Duke city. I just cant. That was brutal.

Rio Rancho is the 71st most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $59796. This is comparable to the average cost of $57989 for addiction treatment in New Mexico and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Rio Rancho vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Rio Rancho. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Rio Rancho that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Rio Rancho.
