I've had good and bad days since I've been going here the part I hate the most are how many counselors I've been through. Only one in the 12 yrs I've been here has actually changed my life she left and I relapsed but I'm on track again since thanks to myself because I won't let another counselor in because I know for a fact they will leave also, other then that I love the nurses and,, I like them all it's a nice place for help if your ready for it

Staff is outstanding, I can tell my councilor Mike cares about his clients succeeding the program and will do whatever he can to make you feel heard,, and the other councilors seem to as well.. The staff was changing quite a bit for a yr or two ago but, the new ones coming in are always kind and apathetic. I Miss the old Director Max but other than wishing he still was there, I have no complains

These days I'm currently seeing Sara Martin and I just cant say enough good things about her. She truly cares about her patients and it shows.
I've NEVER EVER had any issues nor do I have any complaints about the Dr's. The front desk is another story. I feel this position should be given to someone with patients .understanding and just kind...that should be a requirement for the job...and we the people should not even have to be saying this. You would think it would just be a given.. being they're dealing with sick and elderly people .also certain Dr's are there only on Tuesdays and Thursdays... take that into consideration..

I miss the old staff. They opened up their arms to you in any situation you were in and would work with your time in need not there's. I waited 2 days an hour in the front asking for help and they rather reschedule me for a another day it's hard enough to get rides from where I live with a seizure disorder it makes it way harder to just be rescheduled instead of trying to work with the clients time. Like the old staff used too . The old staff made me feel wanted. This staff makes me feel put to the side....

I began much-needed individual therapy this month at New Mexico Solutions. It has helped my interior life substantially already. I want to mention two qualities that stand out.
The first was what has helped me the most. I have worked thus far with Alexa Brown who is doing a phenomenal job taking me seriously. I struggle with the impression that the people around me do not, on even the most fundamental level, have any respect for me, and, as I unravel myself in order to heal the parts of myself about which I'm most ashamed, Alexa's unwavering validation has been invaluable. I could not have asked for a person with whom it is easier to speak.
The second was the ease by which I have been able to access therapy. I found it surprising that I could manage to fit anything at all into my schedule, given how much I've struggled to access other forms of healthcare since moving to New Mexico. Many thanks to the staff at New Mexico Solutions for making the process easy.

I initially left a 1 star review. I’ll admit the process to get in is kind of annoying but the therapist I wound up seeing was really helpful. I still go back to him occasionally. He helped me come a long way. The front desk are only people too and are actually really nice. I’m going back and forth between the 4 and 5 star because of the intake process because it’s so annoying 😭😂 Fill out 2 packets then make an apt to answer questions (takes about 30-45min) then you make an apt with a therapist. I believe you have to do it yearly.

My experience with Rio Grande Counseling is one of uplifting support and real understanding of my issues and past experiences because my Counselor had lived and survived it himself. It is really easy to attend groups over Zoom and they will work with you instead of making it harder when it comes to your work schedule and whatever else life might throw at you. Been going since I was a teen and they’ve always been professional and accommodating. I’ve seen a few different therapists and have learned everyone has different teaching methods that may not suit you individually. Don't let courtesy stop you from asking to change to a different provider. However it's a bit unfortunate they removed services from over the phone for those that live far but don't have the means to video call.

My husband and I shortened our vacation to make sure we held our end of a very important confirmed appointment with Melanie Wilkes. She cancelled within 2 hours of the appointment as we arrived back into Santa Fe. The appointment took months to make because no one would return phone calls. The medication is very important. If the patient misses an apointment, refills are cancelled. What is the accountability of the Doc/NP when THEY cancel on the last minute with NO resolution, leaving the patient high and dry without any meds at all? Done with Presbyterian.

Zia changed my life. They showed me the tools I needed to gain my life back & introduced me to the 12 step program. Almost a year later and my life has done a complete 180! Zia Recovery Center is a great place if you are serious and diligent about changing your life for the better. The staff and programming are top notch. Nearly every employee and the owners are in recovery. They truly care for each and every client that comes through the doors. It was nice to be in a facility that has so many resources. I wanted to wait a year before i left a review about my experience at Vista, and here we are. I am 1 year and 1 month sober !! When i first came to the facility i was in terrible shape, physically and mentally. I fought the treatment for weeks before i saw that i was actually getting better. I found my higher power in this place and my life has changed in dramatic ways. I have no urge whatsoever to return to my previous way of life and i must give the credit to Vista. I completed the 30-day program at Vista Taos and had an amazing experience and met a lot of great people during my stay. I have been in other treatment centers and Vista Taos is by far the best! JD was my therapist and had great knowledge and experience when it came to relapse prevention, identifying triggers and learning about the disease of addiction as well as tapping into trauma and trauma response actions. If you're looking for a rehab that works, this is the place to go. The environment is serene and peaceful. Weekly outings, 5-star meals, off-site meetings, individual therapy, queen sized comfy beds, full bathrooms with tubs or standing showers all accommodated for a comfortable stay for me while I was being rehabilitated for Methamphetamines and Alcohol. The staff was kind and respectful towards my needs and gave great inspiration and encouragement during my stay. Vista Taos is by far the best rehab in New Mexico. If you're searching for yourself or a loved one, this is the place to go. Don't hesitate, make the call now!

The facilities and environment and programs at Vista Taos are exceptional. I researched many rehab facilities in the U.S. in several states (NM, Ariz., Utah, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Florida) and after careful consideration of all features, size, programs, quality of care, offerings, environment -- Vista came out on top, as my #1 pick best of all rehab programs.Also, the intake counselor Jeremy was extraordinary, he took so much time and care to discuss programs and specifics, and advise me about pros and cons of rehab in general, what to look for, how to evaluate programs, and how to select the best options for my family member. He even helped me network with other rehabs to get their info and compare. He is an amazing resource and the most caring, giving intake person I encountered in all rehabs I searched.
