Today I went to the Crpt IHS for the flu shot. Man, I tell you, I had a good experience there the people were so extra nice. I could not believe it. They treated me like royalty. I just was just so surprised. If there is a change happening, I just want to say, "Good Job, and keep treating everyone like that" Today's experience was a perfect 10.

I initially left a 1 star review. I’ll admit the process to get in is kind of annoying but the therapist I wound up seeing was really helpful. I still go back to him occasionally. He helped me come a long way. The front desk are only people too and are actually really nice. I’m going back and forth between the 4 and 5 star because of the intake process because it’s so annoying 😭😂 Fill out 2 packets then make an apt to answer questions (takes about 30-45min) then you make an apt with a therapist. I believe you have to do it yearly.

My wife and I had a terrible experience trying to get a simple prescription filled. We will not be returning. She never received her prescription. Thank God it was just for pain. Either the doctor or their prescription system needs to be replaced. Or both.
Update:
Ten days after my wife needed to go to the ER for her four broken ribs, I went to the ER with a huge infection in my head, face, and neck and the staff was amazing. I can't stress how well we were treated by all the staff we encountered.

So I have Mixed Ratings** 5/5 I do want to give a shout out to the ER staff and team at this location.They are a team player and I really liked how quickly they were able to initiate an emergency when they saw one when we came in. Our situation was dire and to see the response of how everybody came together so quickly it was so powerful ,Thank you .Thank you so much. We have a continuous glucose monitoring systems for diabetes management, unfortunately it was reading false accurate report and That's what prompt us to come into the ER this morning to get my grandfather double checked on his blood sugar levels.

1/5 stars , We are definitely not from the area. We are out of towners but I guess we get confused from looking like locals? I was following Google maps, on how to get here with the directions. We got an accurate reading on how to get here but we're getting close to the building I follow the emergency signs with the arrows pointing where to go, located on the sidewalk where the emergency sign that show Us where to go which is the wrong points on entrance. I hope this gets corrected, because security was on my ass for my parking which was up near the front , entering the wrong way, Parked in the handicap sign with the handicap sticker up and security definitely told me I couldn't park there but Yes understandable our situation was an emergency. My grandfather uses a cane, plus he's hard of hearing so I was there speaking for him and also communicating via dry erase board. To the ER staff of the situation. I did tell security that I promise to move to vehicle once I get my grandfather situated but once I've probably been there for " 10 minutes " she came and look for me to go tell me to move my vehicle. But please give some training to security on letting them know more about Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, and the dangerous condition that needs to be taken seriously, especially for those with diabetes. Glucose is the brain's main source of energy, and when blood sugar drops too low, it can lead to various physical and mental impairments. I felt like with better understanding and compassion This place can go a long way towards 5 stars

I love TPRC! They have so many options and help during the recovery process! Super grateful for all the staff! I’ve been coming to New Mexico Treatment Center for some time now there’s been a lot of staff that have came an gone it’s sad just when we start to open up to these counselors the next week they’re gone .Theres a few really good counselors up stairs .Theres 1 Dedicated to Her patience the most is Darlene, any time anyone has questions or concerns she’s on it. She goes above & beyond for her patience helps get dog food donated for those who are homeless with animals. They didn’t have security when I first started coming now they do it’s helped, u just have those without any where to go so yes they do hang around . I think they’re should be more programs that are hands on because Being an addict is one thing and for some it’s even harder for some to sit in a room full active users it makes it hard for those who are taking their sobriety serious. Keep up the fight to end addiction.

I have been using this VA for over 8 years now, and it has been the best VA out of the 4 different VA's that I used over many years. I voluntary went to cenakor September 10 2025 for the 30 day program. I have not relapsed once. I got a good job, my relationships with my girlfriend, family, friends are a 100 times better. My health is better, my mind is clear, I am learning everyday to love my sober self again thanks to Cenakor! Honestly, I can't really complain. I had 3 meals a day, plus fruits as a snack. Yes, we shared a dorm but I had a good dorm group for the most part. We had a comfortable bed, a small laundry room with 2 wash days, we had easy chores to keep our minds busy that helped with the rehabilitation process. I did dishes the whole time I was there when we weren't attending our classes and AA meetings etc. Which sometimes involved activities throughout the day, we had plenty of free time. We could smoke cigarettes, that was a plus for me. I would play basketball, volleyball, I learned to play spades, and make bracelets. We would also play music on the speaker at night time, we would get chips and salsa for our night meetings, we got popcorn when we watched movies. I know Cenakor isn't a Marriott hotel but for what it's business purpose is, I don't have a single complaint. I am truly grateful for Cenikor and the BHTs I got to know while I was in recovery. Shout out to the staff members Daphne, Michael, and Kayla. They were a big part of my recovery and still are. Also, to the entire medical/nurse staff.

It's a state run facility so you will encounter; individuals court ordered to treatment who don't really care, homeless who just want a place to stay and temporarily detox, staff members on a power trip that will take every opportunity to put you down and threaten you. But if you are serious about your recovery, there are a dozen staff members In recovery who will move heaven and earth to support you, Find them utilize them take in their wisdom. While everyone else is working at TLH for a paycheck they are working there for you. They won't force you to get clean or use the coping skills but if you ask for help you can bet your butt they will be the first in line to give it to you. New Season's is the best MAT program in Albuquerque, hands down. I've been to a couple, but NS treats me like a human instead of a way to make money or just another face. Nick is amazing and helped me through some tough times while traveling for my job while getting treatment. 10/10! The rest of the staff is also just as amazing.
I am using this program to help get off of a pain medication for a chronic health condition. The entire staff has helped me every step of rhe way, even though they knew I didn't want to stay on Methadone either.
