Oravec has been my medication manager for years and he is very knowledgeable and kind, he listens to all my issues and takes the time to go over everything and fully explain new medications. I feel very secure having him manage my mental health meds.
The therapists themselves are also very knowledgeable and are actually trauma informed (where many therapists who say they are trauma informed actually aren't). This is one of the best mental health facilities I've ever gone to, across many states.

I thought this place was great at first until I was suffering a major depressive episode. I first reached out through email with no response then I called the office and spoke to Mary Sue who acted like I was a bother and gave me no advice. Unfortunately that night things got worse and this clinic and the doctor I was dealing with never got back to me. Mental health is so important and one 5 min conversation could be the link between life and death. I do not recommend anyone go here because they obviously do not care about your well being. So disappointed

I waa very skeptical when my sister was sent here. She has been hospitalized in four different places over three years but the doc and staff here were awesome. The doctor was the smartest our family has met in ten years in three different states. He took his time and found out what was really going on. She has been stable for the first time in her life. She was here more than two months ago but I felt I should leave a review to let people know they have really good docs and staff now. It's not a physically great place but frankly it doesn't matter if the providers are this good. I dont know how they got such good people to come way out here, but Southern NM is very very fortunate. We live in a city and havent seen this kind of quality. Thank you for all you did for my sister.

this is without a doubt the worst experience i ever had at a substance abuse facility and you cant just keep writing off low reviews as angry alcoholics complaining forever - there really are serious problems here that need to be addressed. how this place is open still is beyond me

I went to dove tree, in Lubbock, Tx broken and very lost. Mentally, emotionally, and physically lost. They helped me get back on my feet again and have helped me gain more confidence in myself. I had a grat experience with the Audiology department today. My ears were clogged and has been bothering me for a week now so I did a walk in.Johnny one of the receptionist found a way to squeeze me in and was called in within 10minutes. Andrea one of the technicians help me out and de clogged my ears in a timely manner..I am really grateful for the service. My wife and I are both 100% P&T, and the El Paso VA Main Clinic has consistently taken excellent care of us. The dental clinic is phenomenal—though appointments can sometimes take a little while, the quality of care makes it well worth it. The radiology department staff are always professional, friendly, and attentive. The community care process can be a bit challenging at times, but it does pay off in the end. On top of that, the cafeteria food is surprisingly delicious. Overall, the El Paso VA truly takes pride in caring for veterans, and it shows in the way they treat us.

I once thought shooting heroin was a good idea after almost losing my life . I was jogging and was run over by a drunk driver , after 6 months in a hospital I was addicted to Pain meds which was not anyone fault ! The hospital and Drs saved my life after Dying 2x s they saved after getting out hospital 9 months later I found heroin the devil would take on a ride that I would never want anyone to go !!! My first treatment center was a learning exsperience I’ll never for get I walked in with all new close looking fresh nice suit case thought I was ok but deep in side I hated myself for what I did to my self my family and my community. I pointed figures at the staff everyone the food sucked the case works sucked the bed sucked . What I came to find out is I was the real one who sucked remember after my attempts to get sober and clean a woman told me something that would change my life for ever ! She Michael if you to honestly get clean sober put as much work into getting clean as you did using you get clean I started to cry it’s just what I needed to get my self on the right track . Today I’m almost 8 years sober and my life is amazingly great family great wife nice home all the things that are possible but most of all I have God in my life and heart any one do it !!!! I think this place should be shut down. The staff is trash. My son passed away in thier custody. Don't do walk throughs like they should. This whole place is trash. Put an addict in one of the highest drug rate in Texas and failed miserably at thier mission. All the staff are negligent. Every one of them are going to be held accountable. I'd give a negative million stars. Staff is rude lazy and sorry.

If you’re an international student considering their programs, be aware that you may be rejected without any clear explanation, even if you meet all stated requirements.
I submitted my application four months ahead of the deadline. Before applying, I spoke with their admissions coach to confirm that my foreign bachelor’s degree, TOEFL scores, GPA, and other documents aligned with the program’s criteria.
Three weeks after paying the $75 non-refundable application fee, I received a rejection with no detailed reasoning. I reached out to the admissions committee for clarification, but all I was told was to “apply again” — with no helpful feedback provided.
This was a very disappointing experience with this college, as it’s clear they do not value multicultural or international students.

I have been with my therapist since 2023, and she has not only helped me progress and acknowledge and see my progress. I've been receiving treatment with EHN for a few years now. And overall they have been so helpful in so many ways providing the best resources to me when I need them the most. My only complaints are 1, that it seems like everytime I get comfortable and start making good progress with my case workers they end up changing my caseworker to a different one. I'm on my now 3rd caseworker now and I'm almost hesitant to open up because it's not easy for me to trust people after trauma I've experienced in my life an I worry when this one will be switched out for the next again.
And 2, it took months on the waiting list for a therapist and after a handful of sessions so far it seems like she hasn't paid much attention to the goals we set for what I want to work on in therapy that we set in our first appointment. I'm hoping that in our next appointment when I try to bring this up with Her that she will change the direction of what we have been doing and listen to my needs.
Other than that however highly recommend the east side clinic.
