Mellissa is the first home visitor we had for my boy, she reported me to cps when I was pregnant with my second. she had absolutely no reason to at all there was no redness on him there were no bruises he’s was just having a bad day and I was trying to calm him down by putting him on my lap and giving him love, he is very loved and very well treated. I highly highly suggest when considering this place to ask for Dwan/ Eva or Megan (behavioral counselor) they were/are soooo good to us and they see how much we love our children. How we care, feed, and love our children, they guided me to sooo many resources, very respectful of your time and your schedule without making you feel bad about it! I hope they get a raise, they bust their busts to do everything for their clients and those three truley deserve it idk what I’d do without them, but I’ll never ever Have Mellissa near my children ever again and we avoid certain things due to her being there otherwise love the program ❤️

These people work really hard to try to take care of a lot of disabled people. I know my sister loves to go there and hang out and do projects. It's a safe place I know I can send her where she can get away from me and live on her own for just a couple hours.

Great Therapist and Counseling!!! I've been going here for years ((7years)) The therapists that have been assigned to me have been very understanding, and considerate. The only downside I know of, is if you're not pre-scheduled you must reschedule on Thursdays only. Aside from that, I absolutely love this place. I feel comfortable switching therapists at any time, I know the doctors that provide my medicine; listen to me and allow me to speak freely on how I would like my medicine to be. Aside from the long waitlist, I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs to go into therapy

This VA Hospital is unique in that it actually does the job it was designed to do. The treatment of wounded veterans which they do absolutely excellent. the staff is always on point and helpful the only draw back here is services are limited you get seen right away but some specialties arnt staffed requiring community referrals. that's where the ball falls most referrals are completed quickly some drag on. overall the treatment of injured veterans is excellent. being in the VA system over 20 years I've seen some horror stories ie; Hampton the worst VA hospital ever. if your in the treatment area of VAMC Amarillo you're in for a pleasant surprise.

I went to dove tree, in Lubbock, Tx broken and very lost. Mentally, emotionally, and physically lost. They helped me get back on my feet again and have helped me gain more confidence in myself. There’s a lot of the staff that I’m very grateful for, but Josh Toney and Lex helped me out so much. I finally feel as though I’m finding myself again, and have been able to finally find my course in life and what I’m supposed to be doing. I give thanks to these two and am so very grateful for them.

Fire Sky literally saved my life. If you are seeking help for any addiction, this is the place to go. This isn’t your traditional treatment facility. It is way more than the 12 Steps. Fire Sky teaches you about addiction, but more importantly, it teaches you how to be the best version of yourself. If you’re looking for a place where the staff goes above and beyond in all aspects, it’s Fire Sky, and it starts with the owners, Robin and Erin. They genuinely care about everyone and understand the problems we face. I could name every staff member and tell you how they helped me find myself and the way to sobriety, but I would be here all day. If you’re willing to take the first step, you will not be disappointed in choosing Fire Sky. Please do not be afraid to reach out and call. It will make the difference if you let it. And lastly, thank you, Fire Sky! You are a place that will always be special to me. Y’all are the best!

Went above & beyond. This is a great place to be if you're serious about your recovery. Utilize the options you have while you're here; counselors, psychiatry visits, cooking classes, house cleaning, fellowship and most importantly learning about the correlation between our minds and addiction and how we can improve our thinking patterns and develop a relationship with God in order to mitigate potential relapses due to emotional distress. You learn to deal with problems head-on instead of running away from them and turning to using substances as a coping mechanism, allowing you to overcome and not use your dire circumstances as excuses to drink/get high. I had a great time here and I'm glad I got to meet everyone on my journey here. Lots of psychology lessons and I would advise you to LISTEN. Thank you for your help. I recommend this place.

This place saved my life!!! I was going through treatment here and then I unexpectedly moved back to Dallas. I was unable to get into a clinic there for reasons unrelated to WTCR. I relapsed and I knew that I needed to get back to Amarillo and back into "my clinic" here. I did everything I could to try to get me and my dog back to Amarillo. 7 very long months passed and I was desperate and ready to give up when a ride back to Amarillo found me. Me and my dog arrived back in Amarillo around 2 am. We had no place to go and no one knew that we were coming back. I was there when they unlocked the door. I told them of the dreams I'd had about being back here inside this building and how happy I was until I woke up and it had only been a dream. I would be heartbroken and just bawling. I had come to the clinic hoping to get an appointment for intake. I never thought I would be taken in that very moment, yet I was. I thank God for these people each and every day!!! I have met and made friends with some of the most amazing people!!! I have had my hopes restored! If you are in need of help this is the best place to begin. Everyone here whether it's staff or client is happy to offer encouragement. This place saved not only my life but untold countless other lives as well.
