A Life-Changing ExperienceThe Ranch at Dove Tree saved my life. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive; they truly made me feel like I was their number one priority. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported in a way I had never experienced before. One of the most powerful aspects of my time there was the connection I made with others. It was easy to form lifelong friendships with people who shared the same goal: getting sober. That bond is something I ll carry with me forever. The food was consistently delicious, and the living environment was both comfortable and thoughtfully designed to feel like home. Every detail seemed tailored to help us focus on recovery in a safe and peaceful space.Today, I ve been sober for 1 year and 11 months. If it weren t for Dove Tree, I truly believe I d either be in jail, homeless, or dead and I would have lost my family. I owe my life and my sobriety to this place. I ll forever be grateful for everything they did for me.If you re struggling and looking for help, this is the place.

The Ranch at Dove Tree isn t just a place, but also a community. If it doesn t work for you, that s okay, if it does help you throughout your recovery process and sobriety and engages you in recovery as a whole, this community will always support you through and through, because eveyone is deserves a chance at recovery. The Ranch at Dove Tree focuses solely on your wellbeing in a positive and professional light, because your time spent there matters to them. My mother, Katrina Toney has worked here as clinical director for almost 4 years and continues to try and help people every single day. Her and my Father, Joshua Toney are angels on Earth, because they continue to inspire me and others who they are around. My parents devote their lives to the people they talk to everyday, and make sure that they are on top of everything there is to do with the people that they are talking to, because they aren t the type of people who just leave work at work. I hope that this place is right for you, and it may be if you would like to come together with others in sobriety and join a community where everyone is welcomed, and have the opportunity to be involved in such a caring, and meaningful place for your recovery.

My names Annie, im an addict. I am 94 days sober today. when i arrived at dovetree i was in the lowest place ive ever been. I was strung out on every drug i could get my hands on. My will to live was about 1%. Just enough to get to dovetree for help. I stayed 47 days. The staff is amazing. All of the counselors care deeply for you. I got answers for my mental health problems. No one was able to help me with that for 24 years. Now im stable, i finally feel normal .I was abused growing up for years. And was sexually assaulted in my addiction. I almost succeeded an suicide attempt when i was in my addiction. I have a lot of trauma fron my past. PTSD, anxiety, depression, adhd, bi polar. Turns out im borderline personality disorder. The more i learn about it. The more i relate. Without my counselor i wouldnt know that. I still struggle with cravings, but they instilled amazing habits i had time to learn. My addiction almost killed me many times. I wanted to forget pain. I had no will to live, i hated myself, i shit everyone out in my life. My number one priority was drugs. I can honestly say i love myself now. I want to live and thrive. I want to help others who struggle with addiction as i do. Without dovetree id be dead or on the streets. Theres so much more to the story, but all i can say right now is dovetree saved my life. I hope to go back one day to help others. I now get to get married to the love of my life! Just 94 days ago i had nothing. Now i have the world

Accepted Insurance

Ranch at Dove Tree works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Residents of a sober living home in Texas reside at the halfway house with others who have agreed to abstain from substances and practice sober-living skills. The relationships and accountability formed here can help individuals strengthen their mental health and achieve long-term recovery. Residents share common spaces such as kitchens and back yards, share meals together, and share household responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
24-hour clinical care in Texas provides a safe environment for medical detox. This setting is crucial to provide medical care during withdrawal. Certain withdrawal symptoms can cause life-threatening conditions, but patients in a supervised clinical setting have treatment readily available to address any symptoms before they become severe. Treatment can also be provided for co-occurring physical and mental health issues.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

eye-movement iconEye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing

Experiential therapy in Texas can look different for each person. You may engage in fitness activities, community service, culinary arts, or art therapy, for example. The goal is to provide a safe setting where you can interact with your environment and work through emotions and experiences with the help of that activity and the guidance of a therapist.

I have been in rehab several times in Houston - from trashy to Bougie - and The Ranch at Dove Tree is by a Millenia Far and Above any other Recovery experience I’ve ever had!!! The Staff are impeccable - From the CEO to the guys keeping the grounds - are Experienced in Addiction/Alcoholism because most of them have been there! They care from a place of knowing and understanding. My counselor, Katrina, is an Exceptional and Dynamic force in my recovery foundation! Josh is my first TAC Group leader - and I don’t think anyone could have impacted me in this type of forum as has he with his leadership, background and compassion! The RA’s are more than kind, professional and courteous-they are real people who get it! I would Plead with any family member of mine to utilize The Ranch at Dove Tree 1st and foremost if ever they were needed!!! I am Extremely proud to call myself an Alumni of RDT! 06/2025 🙏🏻☮️♥️

9 months ago I checked into The Ranch at Dove Tree for the 3rd time and every time I’ve gone I got something out of there. But this time my mindset was different. I was tired and just done and this time I put the work in and came out sober. The facility is amazing the counselors are the best I’ve ever had. There IOP program helped me stay clean I had no idea I was really going to save my own life by checking in to this program.
