Stop researching treatment centers because this one is hands down the best!! I’ve been to several treatment centers and The Ridge is in a league of their own- for all the good reasons! Yes, it is a beautiful home like atmosphere with a lot of luxuries and outstanding food but the main reason I found The Ridge so helpful to me was the loving and supportive staff and amazing program. And the support doesn’t stop when you leave! I enrolled in IOP and am plugged into the many alumni events they host. My recovery community is filled today with Ridge Alum and I owe my recovery to the tools I learned at The Ridge and all the continue support I get from them.

The Ridge is an incredible place to go to for treatment. They keep you plenty busy with group therapy sessions as well as 1 on 1 sessions with a councilor, and there are lots of things to do during recreation time. I’m grateful I was able to find a treatment center with staff that truly care about me and work to foster a friendly environment among all patients. If you’re looking for help I can think of no better place to go to than the Ridge for residential treatment.

I had a mostly positive experience at Lumier Healing Centers. The facility is extremely clean and modern, the food is great, and the rooms are comfortable with TVs and private bathrooms. The nursing and medical staff were excellent—professional, caring, and available 24/7. The staff overall were cool and kind, especially the Lumier Alumni who genuinely care and want to help the next addict or alcoholic. My only critique is with case management, which seemed overworked and at times led to communication breakdowns with clients and counselors. Still, I give Lumier 5 stars. When the pain gets great enough, I and or we get willing to be vulnerable, honest, and stop hiding behind my and or the mask and tattoos. If you’re reading this—YOU CAN FN DO IT!

Don’t come here if your only gonna shower once in 30 days, bum cigarettes, and sleep during every grou, and make up every medical excuse you can think of to reason your poor behavior. Dont blame your medication when you stay up all night and sleep all day, don’t take MATs if you are gonna use them as an excuse for your lack of effort when plenty of others can take them and still work the program. It isn’t daycare, sleeping and getting high legally isn’t sober. You took a 30 day nap. 🙄

RVC is an amazing facility. It’s a great place to start your recovery journey and get to the destination of sobriety. This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it’s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It’s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. If nothing else has worked for you, give it a shot- what do you have to lose? Saved my life and many others.

I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i’ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they’ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn’t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i’ve met here have been so kind. And if you’re a woman or lgbtqia+ you’ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me 🙂 (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn’t seem to exist here. They’ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

I have been to rehabs that charge out of pocket and ones that take Medicaid. Talbott hall is among the best places to get treatment that take Medicaid. This place saved my life when I was at my lowest. Detox was comfortable and the out patient programs have been solid.

If it wasn’t for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I’ve been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there’s a pharmacy right there inside. I’ve been using Eastway’s Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you’re done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I’m glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She’s been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don’t lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there’s a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I’ll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the “Journey” there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn’t like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I’m there for Mental Health. I’m getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I’m Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn’t make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. The naturally occurring compounds found in medications such as morphine and codeine, called opiates, are widely used in the treatment of pain; however, their use is not without risk. Opiate addiction can be a potentially life threatening condition that requires comprehensive intervention and treatment. According to the National Institute of Health, Ohio ranks among the top 10 states for overdose deaths in America. While we are seeing a decline in these numbers, Ohioans with opiate addiction are still at high risk for a fatal event. Most individuals with opiate addiction will require medically supported detoxification before starting a structured treatment program. Both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs utilize evidence-based practices that include a mix of behavioral therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing or contingency management during one on one and group counseling sessions. Complementary or holistic therapies such as meditation, yoga, and acupuncture may also be included in your treatment plan. Medication assisted treatment and relapse prevention planning are additional services used to treat opiate addiction. There are programs across Ohio that can provide the life saving treatment needed. All it takes is a phone call to get started on the road to recovery.
