Stop researching treatment centers because this one is hands down the best!! I’ve been to several treatment centers and The Ridge is in a league of their own- for all the good reasons! Yes, it is a beautiful home like atmosphere with a lot of luxuries and outstanding food but the main reason I found The Ridge so helpful to me was the loving and supportive staff and amazing program. And the support doesn’t stop when you leave! I enrolled in IOP and am plugged into the many alumni events they host. My recovery community is filled today with Ridge Alum and I owe my recovery to the tools I learned at The Ridge and all the continue support I get from them.

The Ridge is an incredible place to go to for treatment. They keep you plenty busy with group therapy sessions as well as 1 on 1 sessions with a councilor, and there are lots of things to do during recreation time. I’m grateful I was able to find a treatment center with staff that truly care about me and work to foster a friendly environment among all patients. If you’re looking for help I can think of no better place to go to than the Ridge for residential treatment.

I was very nervous when I first got inthere, but I was made to feel like I was in a safe place right away. Most of the staff are laid back, and easy to get along with. They show that they are willing to give you freedoms until you prove you are a danger to yourself or others. Do not do that and your time there should be pleasant and life changing. I honestly believe you get what you put in. So if you can become a part of the community, and share, honestly and openly about your experiences, fears, and feelings, just be real, and you will walk away with skills to help you manage your life , for the rest of your life. Some recovery center her in Dayton do not have your best interest in mind, just in the recovery business for the money, but here at AppleGate it s a small family oriented staff who are in the recovery business for the right reasons. Some of the staff have been through recovery themselves and can relate to your situation without prejudice or a feeling of being judged. Before coming to Lumiere Healing Centers I had been to other rehabs, not had a great experience, and was not willing to go back. Fortunately my family found this facility for me, and with a loving nudge, I reluctantly checked myself into detox. It was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life! I was in detox for 10 days followed by a 30 day residential program. From the nursing staff, to the counselors and case managers, I couldn’t have been treated with more grace. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and I’m not kidding, I would have paid good money for some of the dinners I enjoyed at Lumiere. The rooms are kept clean, there’s a TV and private bath in each of them, and the entire property overlooks one of the most beautiful golf courses in southern Ohio. Without Lumiere I don’t know if I’d still be here today, but with them, I’m sober, working my steps, and living a happy wonderful life for the first time in decades. One of the better rehabs I have ever been do. Chef Lora deserves all the praise, a legitimate CHEF. Tvs in the rooms, it can get quite boring but you’re able to go outside whenever you want, basketball was a great way to kill time. The food is absolutely terrific I can’t say that enough. Nursing staff and doctors do try and meet your needs. They offer snacks like PB&J fruit, cereal whenever you want it. Juice dispenser. I’ve been to some places where you can’t even get suitable drinking water. Just be sure to not bring any meds with you they will throw them away, also if you drive yourself, they will tow your car. I had to have someone drive two hours just to park it in a neighborhood near by.

I struggled with addiction all my life. House of Hope showed me a new way of living through 12 step recovery. The house hosts a safe environment for the suffering addict or alcoholic to be able to work on themselves and get down to the core of the disease. Also, upon graduation from the program you have the option to move into recovery housing of which there are none better in the state of Ohio. The rent is beyond reasonable, you are placed on job search until you obtain a job. Then during your stay as a recovery house tenant You participate in outpatient treatment, a minimum of four 12 step meetings weekly, And meet with a financial literacy coach to Better plan your future in recovery. In short, I have struggled with addiction for over 25 years, served two prison Sentences, And was real close to death. The House Of Hope has given me the tools in unity that is necessary For a complete psychic change In order for me to live a fruitful life. For that, I am forever in debt.

This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. If nothing else has worked for you, give it a shot- what do you have to lose? Saved my life and many others.

I’ve been going here on and off since 2017. They’re amazing here. It is strict, but that’s what people need when getting treatment. They aren’t super strict to the point where they’ll kick you out, though. As long as you see the doctor and are honest about your situation, they will work with you the best they can. Rules change a lot. Things change a lot, which is always for the better! Doctors are amazing, and the nurses are wonderful and care about your recovery! Lots of groups, OPT, and another new 5 days a week group. Counseling, dosing, and groups that are optional and an hour long. Open 6 days a week. Same day dosing for newcomers!

The facilitators presented the curriculum in a engaging manner which encouraged our ability to share and develop a successful plan for moving forward in sobriety. My therapist Kat as well as my case manager Taylor were excellent and very supportive. They encouraged me as well as challenged me to work my program of recovery and sobriety. I can wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone looking for treatment for substance abuse disorder. I will be forever grateful to everyone who helped me on my journey.

I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i ve met here have been so kind. And if you re a woman or lgbtqia+ you ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me 🙂 (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn t seem to exist here. They ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

Bright View in Akron are caring people. Visits are fast and efficient. The one in Canton also have a caring staff but the visits are too long for most appointments.I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement on any job.

I felt forgiveness immediately. Everyone is so kind, approachable, and well organized. I made an appointment just before the office opened on a Friday. I was in terrible withdrawal pain. Bright View’s nurses and staff courteously excorted me to comfort. I’m glad I chose to go here. Group therapy is amazing and insightful. Transportation provided. Very little is not provided. Weekly prescriptions to begin with. The hotline is available at all times. I have been with Bright View since September 2023. Addiction is treatable and this clinic works well with me to try to solve my problems. They’re going as far as they can to change individual drug habits and doing a great job.

The staff genuinely cares because most are recovering addicts themselves. They will go the extra mile to accommodate and make sure you are comfortable. I Love the staff and atmosphere, I ve been going here for some time and they offer all types of services. Some of the patients are kinda sketchy looking, but I don t talk to anyone who doesn t talk to me and I ve never once had a problem or felt uncomfortable in all my time here. I love this Treatment center. Been here twice. The staff is wonderful. I got exactly what I needed there . Counseling, case management , group therapy, educational groups , sober networking. I learned here I could find a new way to live my life and I’m a much better person after my back to back residential stays at this wonderful place!!

The naturally occurring compounds found in medications such as morphine and codeine, called opiates, are widely used in the treatment of pain; however, their use is not without risk. Opiate addiction can be a potentially life threatening condition that requires comprehensive intervention and treatment. According to the National Institute of Health, Ohio ranks among the top 10 states for overdose deaths in America. While we are seeing a decline in these numbers, Ohioans with opiate addiction are still at high risk for a fatal event. Most individuals with opiate addiction will require medically supported detoxification before starting a structured treatment program. Both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs utilize evidence-based practices that include a mix of behavioral therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing or contingency management during one on one and group counseling sessions. Complementary or holistic therapies such as meditation, yoga, and acupuncture may also be included in your treatment plan. Medication assisted treatment and relapse prevention planning are additional services used to treat opiate addiction. There are programs across Ohio that can provide the life saving treatment needed. All it takes is a phone call to get started on the road to recovery.
