Great experience, I didn’t know anyone walking in the door but now I have new sober friends to hang out with as I keep in touch with all of the client’s I met why I was at the Ridge! I highly recommend it for a to find sobriety!

My experience at The Ridge completely changed my life. Extremely thorough in their approach and left no stones unturned. I will forever look at my life as pre-The Ridge and post-The Ridge.

Update: 526 days sober and going strong. I have definitely had cravings and vulnerable points, but have managed to stay sober thanks in large part to the ridge. I’m at 8 months sober today and can say that the things I learned at the Ridge still help me every day- literally. I am still in the aftercare program and getting a lot out of it. If you need help this is a great place to build a foundation for sobriety (and abstinence from other drugs as well). Summary: The Ridge is an excellent comprehensive treatment program for alcohol use disorder (and others). I personally had an exceptional experience with the residential treatment program, intensive outpatient therapy, and aftercare. Nothing about this experience was easy but I am confident that due to my experience with The Ridge I have a solid recovery foundation (I am just over 4 months sober currently). This review focuses on residential care Highlights -well developed program that is evidence based -full days -attendance at local 12 step meetings -access to a wide variety of recreational activities and art and music therapy classes -I felt prepared when I left and have continued to feel that way (it has been difficult but I have the tools) -staff are compassionate and helpful; many are in recovery themselves – peer support – comfortable accomodations and excellent food My advice if you are going to a program like The Ridge (these things helped me to have continued success today) -follow the rules, yes they may seem silly -do awkward things they ask like getting a temporary sponsor and numbers at meetings -listen to their advice, they may says things that sound stupid,my experience is that the things I think sound stupid end up being the pertinent ones -try to relax into the time; enjoy not having to do a ton of chores, cook for yourself etc -take the time to build a new hobby I electected to go to The Ridge when I came to terms with the fact that I have an alcohol use disorder. I was receiving psychiatric care and my provider gently led me to acknowledge this. Two providers independently recommended The Ridge when I expressed interest in treatment. Residential I initially signed up for the 30 day program but decided to stay longer as I was getting a lot out of the program and am really happy that I did. Residential days are very full. The beginning of the day is filled with groups. The afternoon has time for recreational activities (no naps). A lot of people take up pickleball during this time but there is also the option to go to the pool (when open), do art, write, etc. Evenings there are 12 step meetings in the community. Accomodations I stayed in a private room which I would say was Marrott quality. Cleaning services are provided. You are expected to make your bed (a pretty minor thing). The meals are excellent and snacks are freely available. The culinary staff are great- very personable and great educators. It was sufficiently comfortable and quiet enough to get quality sleep. Nursing Nursing staff were generally available and very helpful. Medication time windows could be a bit tight but were feasible. Recovery support specialist staff Recovery support specialists helped with sessions, daily questions, and herding everyone, They all have different personalities but in general were very easy to get along with. Supervisory staff were very helpful and responsive. Counselors Generally had very helpful sessions, individual counseling was very helpful.

The people are caring and compassionate . That is so important in an inpatient facility especially when recovery is new to you. I would send family there if they needed help.

It’s been exactly a year since the last time I’ve been here I’ve been clean for over a year. this place made me feel comfortable nobody judged me. I’m so thankful I got the help from you guys.

4 stars for detox, 1 for woman’s supportive housing. Alot of people are there because they have to be, or they have no place else to go, so it’s very chaotic. Not a healthy environment for recovery, in my opinion. The gossip around campus is that the higher ups are only about the money, but I’m not sure if that’s true. The counselors are great, but there is not enough of them. Two of the nighttime RA’s were awful, gossipy, lazy, cold, and unprofessional.

This place is awesome. I haven’t looked back since being there.

Lumiere has truly changed my life completely. I was treated so kind in inpatient treatment. The nurses , doctor and counselors were amazing.Im in outpatient now and still receiving top notch recovery! If you really want to change your life call and get help at Lumiere. I love this place and the staff is awesome!! You can do it!!

My experience at Lumiere Healing Centers has been phenomenal! I never thought I would experience a life of sobriety until I reached out to Lumiere, in complete desperation, and was welcomed by a team of kind, caring, and compassionate individuals! I valued my time at the house of Hope.

When I was looking to leave treatment I knew I still needed structure in my life so I contacted the House of Hope for their Recovery Residence Program. They have been amazing after I moved in they helped me find a new job, when I found out that it would be remote they set me up for success in the house. Their structure has help keep me sober.

Words can’t describe 118 days inpatient if you want a new life walk thru there door 24/7 the staff are Amazing ❤ it works if you work it they gave me a road map to a substance free destination much love 💘 to everyone that keeps the lights on at Recovery village 😘🙏miracles happen there 🙌🥰🎈

I’ve been here at The Recovery Village in Groveport since September 16th. Its been the best experience of Recovery I’ve ever experienced, the staff is great, food is great and the rooms are awesome. Mel Timberlake and Rochelle Sparks are Awesome! I really enjoy joking around with Ann and Hislord from the nursing staff. Anyways all around great place for Recovery!!! I had a client that needed his records on very short notice. Rick provided 230+ pages in records, reports, and evaluations within a day. The thoroughness of their record keeping really helped my client and impressed the court.

This place saved my life. I went there straight from detox and I was home!!! I stayed sober clean and I’m hoping to get a job there I filled out an application? A awesome person I met Melissa Johnston she currently works there she was a client there when I was!! I will never forget the food I got to eat it was amazing!!! The staff was so caring and engaged!! I was treated for hep c while I was there to!!! A nice room with a shower in it!!!!! A personal trainer so we got to work out!!!! The kitchen was opened all night which I thought was great!!! I love paula, sister T, Sara, Courtney my counselor while I was there! Jeremy are gym teacher, all the staff marva!!!!! Ann love you 💕
