Stop researching treatment centers because this one is hands down the best!! I’ve been to several treatment centers and The Ridge is in a league of their own- for all the good reasons! Yes, it is a beautiful home like atmosphere with a lot of luxuries and outstanding food but the main reason I found The Ridge so helpful to me was the loving and supportive staff and amazing program. And the support doesn’t stop when you leave! I enrolled in IOP and am plugged into the many alumni events they host. My recovery community is filled today with Ridge Alum and I owe my recovery to the tools I learned at The Ridge and all the continue support I get from them.

The Ridge is an incredible place to go to for treatment. They keep you plenty busy with group therapy sessions as well as 1 on 1 sessions with a councilor, and there are lots of things to do during recreation time. I’m grateful I was able to find a treatment center with staff that truly care about me and work to foster a friendly environment among all patients. If you’re looking for help I can think of no better place to go to than the Ridge for residential treatment.

They show that they are willing to give you freedoms until you prove you are a danger to yourself or others. Do not do that and your time there should be pleasant and life changing. Before coming to Lumiere Healing Centers I had been to other rehabs, not had a great experience, and was not willing to go back. Fortunately my family found this facility for me, and with a loving nudge, I reluctantly checked myself into detox. It was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life! I was in detox for 10 days followed by a 30 day residential program. From the nursing staff, to the counselors and case managers, I couldn’t have been treated with more grace. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and I’m not kidding, I would have paid good money for some of the dinners I enjoyed at Lumiere. The rooms are kept clean, there’s a TV and private bath in each of them, and the entire property overlooks one of the most beautiful golf courses in southern Ohio. Without Lumiere I don’t know if I’d still be here today, but with them, I’m sober, working my steps, and living a happy wonderful life for the first time in decades. Thank you Lumiere from the bottom of my heart. If you or any of your friends or family members need help with drugs or alcohol, please check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the better rehabs I have ever been do. Chef Lora deserves all the praise, a legitimate CHEF. Tvs in the rooms, it can get quite boring but you’re able to go outside whenever you want, basketball was a great way to kill time. The food is absolutely terrific I can’t say that enough. Nursing staff and doctors do try and meet your needs. They offer snacks like PB&J fruit, cereal whenever you want it. Juice dispenser. I’ve been to some places where you can’t even get suitable drinking water. Just be sure to not bring any meds with you they will throw them away, also if you drive yourself, they will tow your car. I had to have someone drive two hours just to park it in a neighborhood near by.

I struggled with addiction all my life. House of Hope showed me a new way of living through 12 step recovery. The house hosts a safe environment for the suffering addict or alcoholic to be able to work on themselves and get down to the core of the disease. Also, upon graduation from the program you have the option to move into recovery housing of which there are none better in the state of Ohio. The rent is beyond reasonable, you are placed on job search until you obtain a job. Then during your stay as a recovery house tenant You participate in outpatient treatment, a minimum of four 12 step meetings weekly, And meet with a financial literacy coach to Better plan your future in recovery. In short, I have struggled with addiction for over 25 years, served two prison Sentences, And was real close to death. The House Of Hope has given me the tools in unity that is necessary For a complete psychic change In order for me to live a fruitful life. For that, I am forever in debt.

This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. If nothing else has worked for you, give it a shot- what do you have to lose? Saved my life and many others.

I’ve been going here on and off since 2017. They’re amazing here. It is strict, but that’s what people need when getting treatment. They aren’t super strict to the point where they’ll kick you out, though. As long as you see the doctor and are honest about your situation, they will work with you the best they can. Rules change a lot. Things change a lot, which is always for the better! Doctors are amazing, and the nurses are wonderful and care about your recovery! Lots of groups, OPT, and another new 5 days a week group. Counseling, dosing, and groups that are optional and an hour long. Open 6 days a week. Same day dosing for newcomers!

I am very grateful to the entire staff at OCH. I graduated from their out-patient S.A.D. program in August of 2024. The level of care and treatment which I received was excellent. I was treated with compassion and care during my entire course of treatment. The facilitators presented the curriculum in a engaging manner which encouraged our ability to share and develop a successful plan for moving forward in sobriety. My therapist Kat as well as my case manager Taylor were excellent and very supportive. They encouraged me as well as challenged me to work my program of recovery and sobriety. I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i ve met here have been so kind. And if you re a woman or lgbtqia+ you ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me 🙂 (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn t seem to exist here. They ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

Bright View in Akron are caring people. Visits are fast and efficient. The one in Canton also have a caring staff but the visits are too long for most appointments.I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement on any job.

I felt forgiveness immediately. Everyone is so kind, approachable, and well organized. I made an appointment just before the office opened on a Friday. I was in terrible withdrawal pain. Bright View’s nurses and staff courteously excorted me to comfort. I’m glad I chose to go here. Group therapy is amazing and insightful. Transportation provided. Very little is not provided. Weekly prescriptions to begin with. The hotline is available at all times. I have been with Bright View since September 2023. Addiction is treatable and this clinic works well with me to try to solve my problems. They’re going as far as they can to change individual drug habits and doing a great job.

The staff genuinely cares because most are recovering addicts themselves. They will go the extra mile to accommodate and make sure you are comfortable. I Love the staff and atmosphere, I ve been going here for some time and they offer all types of services. Some of the patients are kinda sketchy looking, but I don t talk to anyone who doesn t talk to me and I ve never once had a problem or felt uncomfortable in all my time here. If you need any of the services offered here, I highly recommend using this as your place to go.

Unsion has been with me since the beginning of my recovery journey, almost 3 years ago, and continues to help me as if it were day one. I love this Treatment center. Been here twice. The staff is wonderful. I got exactly what I needed there . Counseling, case management , group therapy, educational groups , sober networking. I learned here I could find a new way to live my life and I’m a much better person after my back to back residential stays at this wonderful place!!

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Alcohol is the substance most commonly associated with addiction in America. Alcoholism or Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) refers to the excessive use of alcohol despite it causing significant harm or distress. Individuals suffering from alcohol addiction often require detoxification before starting a comprehensive treatment program due to potentially life threatening withdrawal symptoms commonly referred to as Delirium Tremens or DTs. Individuals are closely monitored by medical professionals and given supportive medication to ease symptoms and stabilize bodily functions, preparing them for further treatment. Once stabilized, treatment may include the use of FDA approved medications such as naltrexone, disulfiram, or acamprosate to reduce cravings, block the effects of alcohol and help to maintain abstinence. Continued treatment should include an inpatient or outpatient program that involves one on one and group counseling. Counselors utilize a mix of behavioral therapy modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy. Holistic and alternative therapies such as meditation, acupuncture and yoga may also be used. Throughout Ohio, there are inpatient and outpatient alcohol use disorder treatment programs that can provide the tools to build a stronger, brighter future where long term recovery is possible.
