Stop researching treatment centers because this one is hands down the best!! I’ve been to several treatment centers and The Ridge is in a league of their own- for all the good reasons! Yes, it is a beautiful home like atmosphere with a lot of luxuries and outstanding food but the main reason I found The Ridge so helpful to me was the loving and supportive staff and amazing program. And the support doesn’t stop when you leave! I enrolled in IOP and am plugged into the many alumni events they host. My recovery community is filled today with Ridge Alum and I owe my recovery to the tools I learned at The Ridge and all the continue support I get from them.

The Ridge is an incredible place to go to for treatment. They keep you plenty busy with group therapy sessions as well as 1 on 1 sessions with a councilor, and there are lots of things to do during recreation time. I’m grateful I was able to find a treatment center with staff that truly care about me and work to foster a friendly environment among all patients. If you’re looking for help I can think of no better place to go to than the Ridge for residential treatment.

When looking for a facility, WRC covered all the bases with being male only with fewer patients than a traditional set-up.The group instructors are diverse and will push you to be vulnerable and work outside of your comfort zone. Some recovery center her in Dayton do not have your best interest in mind, just in the recovery business for the money, but here at AppleGate it s a small family oriented staff who are in the recovery business for the right reasons. Some of the staff have been through recovery themselves and can relate to your situation without prejudice or a feeling of being judged. Before coming to Lumiere Healing Centers I had been to other rehabs, not had a great experience, and was not willing to go back. Fortunately my family found this facility for me, and with a loving nudge, I reluctantly checked myself into detox. It was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life! I was in detox for 10 days followed by a 30 day residential program. From the nursing staff, to the counselors and case managers, I couldn’t have been treated with more grace. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and I’m not kidding, I would have paid good money for some of the dinners I enjoyed at Lumiere. The rooms are kept clean, there’s a TV and private bath in each of them, and the entire property overlooks one of the most beautiful golf courses in southern Ohio. Without Lumiere I don’t know if I’d still be here today, but with them, I’m sober, working my steps, and living a happy wonderful life for the first time in decades. Thank you Lumiere from the bottom of my heart. If you or any of your friends or family members need help with drugs or alcohol, please check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the better rehabs I have ever been do. Chef Lora deserves all the praise, a legitimate CHEF. Tvs in the rooms, it can get quite boring but you’re able to go outside whenever you want, basketball was a great way to kill time. The food is absolutely terrific I can’t say that enough. Nursing staff and doctors do try and meet your needs. They offer snacks like PB&J fruit, cereal whenever you want it. Juice dispenser. I’ve been to some places where you can’t even get suitable drinking water. Just be sure to not bring any meds with you they will throw them away, also if you drive yourself, they will tow your car. I had to have someone drive two hours just to park it in a neighborhood near by.

This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. If nothing else has worked for you, give it a shot- what do you have to lose? Saved my life and many others.

I’m asking about the program actually. At detox how is it exactly? Are the women and guys around one another? As well as the php and housing with the classes. The staff is so nice and very polite and they go out of the way to help you try to get whatever you need if you need a social worker if you need a mental health counselor, any doctors appointments they strive to help you get back on your feet. The counselors are amazing. They re a genuinely care and they genuinely want to help overall I love Brightview. I ve been going here for a few years. This is one of the top drug and alcohol centers. Most of the staff are great to work with. Some of them however, need some bedside manner tips. Remember, we are coming in off the street and off drugs. We are trying to blend back into society. Just be patient with us.

I’ve been going here on and off since 2017. They’re amazing here. It is strict, but that’s what people need when getting treatment. They aren’t super strict to the point where they’ll kick you out, though. As long as you see the doctor and are honest about your situation, they will work with you the best they can. Rules change a lot. Things change a lot, which is always for the better! Doctors are amazing, and the nurses are wonderful and care about your recovery! Lots of groups, OPT, and another new 5 days a week group. Counseling, dosing, and groups that are optional and an hour long. Open 6 days a week. Same day dosing for newcomers!

Cedar Oaks Wellness was an absolute life changer for me. The campus and staff were both vital in my recovery. I cannot give enough thanks to AJ, one of the group facilitators. Her methods of teaching are unlike any other I have ever experienced, and absolutely changed my perspective on many aspects of my life for the better. She taught me how to cultivate true meaning and how to give myself grace that I lacked for most of my life. My counselor Carmela taught me how to be present in the moment and to avoid the constant worry of the future. The discharge coordinator Ben was also a huge help in keeping me on the right track and presenting me with options of continued treatment with honesty. The nursing staff and resident assistants were very professional and personable, as well as Jeff and Betsy in the kitchen. Beyond the hot meals they served, the genuine care they showed created a comfortable atmosphere. I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i ve met here have been so kind. And if you re a woman or lgbtqia+ you ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me 🙂 (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn t seem to exist here. They ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

Bright View in Akron are caring people. Visits are fast and efficient. The one in Canton also have a caring staff but the visits are too long for most appointments.I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement on any job.

I felt forgiveness immediately. Everyone is so kind, approachable, and well organized. I made an appointment just before the office opened on a Friday. I was in terrible withdrawal pain. Bright View’s nurses and staff courteously excorted me to comfort. I’m glad I chose to go here. Group therapy is amazing and insightful. Transportation provided. Very little is not provided. Weekly prescriptions to begin with. The hotline is available at all times. I have been with Bright View since September 2023. Addiction is treatable and this clinic works well with me to try to solve my problems. They’re going as far as they can to change individual drug habits and doing a great job.

Detox is typically the first step in the recovery process. This is especially true for individuals with moderate to severe addiction to alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and certain stimulants. The withdrawal process is medically supported through the use of FDA approved medications. They’re designed to ease the physical and mental symptoms of withdrawal, such as muscle aches, depression and axniety. Additionally, these medications help to curb cravings and normalize bodily functions. Individuals in inpatient detox are closely monitored around the clock by clinical staff for any complications and provided with medical intervention when necessary. In addition, individuals receive support through one on one and group counseling sessions that prepare them for the ongoing therapy needed to sustain recovery. In some cases, an individual can detox in a structured outpatient detox program where they remain at home but visit the clinic each day for medical check ins, medication and counseling. Across Ohio, there are inpatient and outpatient detox programs that provide the support and intervention needed to prepare both the mind and body to fully engage in a recovery program that supports long term sobriety.
