Stop researching treatment centers because this one is hands down the best!! I’ve been to several treatment centers and The Ridge is in a league of their own- for all the good reasons! Yes, it is a beautiful home like atmosphere with a lot of luxuries and outstanding food but the main reason I found The Ridge so helpful to me was the loving and supportive staff and amazing program. And the support doesn’t stop when you leave! I enrolled in IOP and am plugged into the many alumni events they host. My recovery community is filled today with Ridge Alum and I owe my recovery to the tools I learned at The Ridge and all the continue support I get from them.

The Ridge is an incredible place to go to for treatment. They keep you plenty busy with group therapy sessions as well as 1 on 1 sessions with a councilor, and there are lots of things to do during recreation time. I’m grateful I was able to find a treatment center with staff that truly care about me and work to foster a friendly environment among all patients. If you’re looking for help I can think of no better place to go to than the Ridge for residential treatment.

This place was absolutely amazing! This was my third treatment center and Wellbrook is by far the best! The staff was incredible and very informative! One on one counseling, along with dual diagnosis treatment was very helpful.
I love that after you leave the house, anyone is welcome back to attend meetings or group activities. The location and seclusion of the house was perfect, along with there being no more than 10 guys at a time.
The staff again was amazing! They keep you engaged and genuinely care about you as a person. I’am forever grateful for the experience and continued guidance Wellbrook provides!

I had a mostly positive experience at Lumier Healing Centers. The facility is extremely clean and modern, the food is great, and the rooms are comfortable with TVs and private bathrooms. The nursing and medical staff were excellent—professional, caring, and available 24/7. The staff overall were cool and kind, especially the Lumier Alumni who genuinely care and want to help the next addict or alcoholic. My only critique is with case management, which seemed overworked and at times led to communication breakdowns with clients and counselors. Still, I give Lumier 5 stars. When the pain gets great enough, I and or we get willing to be vulnerable, honest, and stop hiding behind my and or the mask and tattoos. If you’re reading this—YOU CAN FN DO IT!

Don’t come here if your only gonna shower once in 30 days, bum cigarettes, and sleep during every grou, and make up every medical excuse you can think of to reason your poor behavior. Dont blame your medication when you stay up all night and sleep all day, don’t take MATs if you are gonna use them as an excuse for your lack of effort when plenty of others can take them and still work the program. It isn’t daycare, sleeping and getting high legally isn’t sober. You took a 30 day nap. 🙄

RVC is an amazing facility. It’s a great place to start your recovery journey and get to the destination of sobriety. This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it’s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It’s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. If nothing else has worked for you, give it a shot- what do you have to lose? Saved my life and many others.

I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i’ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they’ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn’t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i’ve met here have been so kind. And if you’re a woman or lgbtqia+ you’ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me 🙂 (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn’t seem to exist here. They’ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

Amazing facility that treats you right away. This is not just a detox or rehab, the staff truly cares about you and will make sure you care about yourself when you walk out. During my time there we didn’t just sit in a room and talk all day. We had activities like hiking, bowling, cornhole and Charlie took us out golfing as well! Brightview in Wilmington, Ohio has truly been a lifesaver for me. The staff there is truly compassionate and caring. I was an emotional mess when I first stopped there. I didn’t even have an appointment, but I knew I had to get help right away. I’ll be forever grateful to the nurse, Linda, who came to my aid. She welcomed me and my tears with open arms. All of the other staff are truly amazing as well. My Dr. Don truly has a heart of gold and my counselor Lisa is Heaven Sent! I’ve never felt judged or uncomfortable in any way. Everyone that works there is amazing! My thanks goes out to Paula, Lola, Amanda and ALL the staff that have been there to help me through the struggles life has thrown at me this last year. I can’t recall all the names of the other smiling faces that greet me each time I go there, but they all have a way of making me feel like I’m seeing a friend. Awesome job, Brightview! I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

I have been to rehabs that charge out of pocket and ones that take Medicaid. Talbott hall is among the best places to get treatment that take Medicaid. This place saved my life when I was at my lowest. Detox was comfortable and the out patient programs have been solid.

Awesome place to go through recovery. In the 20 years I have been in recovery I have never experienced such a professional organized staff. They assist with medication, case work, are flexible with scheduling. They get you your meds right away at the facility and it’s a great place to go to find the right path

The staff were very helpful, professional, and willing to meet clients where they’re at based on their own individual treatment needs. They were the only agency that I found in my area that believe in a dual diagnosis treatment model, which allows you to continue taking your mental health medications, while also getting help for SUD.

Detox is typically the first step in the recovery process. This is especially true for individuals with moderate to severe addiction to alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and certain stimulants. The withdrawal process is medically supported through the use of FDA approved medications. They’re designed to ease the physical and mental symptoms of withdrawal, such as muscle aches, depression and axniety. Additionally, these medications help to curb cravings and normalize bodily functions. Individuals in inpatient detox are closely monitored around the clock by clinical staff for any complications and provided with medical intervention when necessary. In addition, individuals receive support through one on one and group counseling sessions that prepare them for the ongoing therapy needed to sustain recovery. In some cases, an individual can detox in a structured outpatient detox program where they remain at home but visit the clinic each day for medical check ins, medication and counseling. Across Ohio, there are inpatient and outpatient detox programs that provide the support and intervention needed to prepare both the mind and body to fully engage in a recovery program that supports long term sobriety.
