A family member went to Talbot Hall recently. He had been to several other rehabilitation centers, but said this was by far the best facility he has been in. I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

Compdrug saved my life.... I was deep into my addiction to fentanyl when I started coming here and a few months before I had overdosed twice having to be dozed with narcan both times. I truly believe that if it wasn't for a compdrug I wouldn't be here today. Yes at first I did struggle to get clean because the methadone just wasn't enough. But I didn't give up and I kept coming every single day and within a few months the methadone started being enough and I didn't need fentanyl anymore. Throughout the years I have experienced nothing but kind, caring, compassionate service from the staff here. I truly do feel like the staff here cares about my sobriety. I have never regretted the decision to walk through those front doors at compdrug and today my life is absolutely amazing. I still feel like every single day continues to get better and better. Good luck to everyone who wants to get clean. We do recover!

This is the only methadone clinic I have ever been to. I've been attending since 12-15-2022. The receptionists have always been nice. This place has been very accommodating when my counselor is out sick by finding another counselor willing to do my 1 hour session. As a kid I was very picky about who I spoke to for counseling but I've enjoyed speaking with every counselor here! if you're a male who is thinking about starting methadone it most likely will cause hypogonadism also known as low testosterone levels. I was not told this when I started here and I went 3 years untreated. 2 years ago I found a urologist for peeing problems who performed a TURP surgery on me due to a narrow urethra. It was because of my follow up appointment that my urologist ordered multiple testosterone levels tests which were too low. Ever since I started synthetic testosterone last year it has drastically improved my life and allowed me to have methadone's full benefits.

The Reeb Center is a gift from God. They depend on volunteers to serve hot meals, pantry and an array of resources to help addiction, depression, domestic violence.
Listen... take a day off and volunteer, please. Instead of going to a movie and eating popcorn, candy, sodas... volunteer. The community they serve is in need of your hero... I saw many single new mommies... toddlers just starting to walk (SO CUTE).... even a couple babies strollers. Elderly folks in wheel chairs... insisting on feeding themselves... I was so proud of them.
Gave me an entirely new perspective.

Since moving to Columbus from Baltimore MD I knew I had to adress my mental and substance use disorders. Trauma and pain seemed to have haunted me in my everyday life. A burning desire to change and take life by the horns had sparked deep inside. I was lead to New Hope by a longterm recovery advocate. Trish, Jessica, and Brett were warm, inspiring, and efficient. The whole set up was just right for a new begging. Unlike the big box treatment centers I received up close, and sincere engagement that enabled me to become an entirely new man. I thank God for New Hope and the people who work diligently to keep it running. Im sober, employed, and I have my family back not to mention my years long dream of getting my cdl is currently in motion.

Real life testimony here, I called highlife because the plan I had didn’t fall through. I spoke to Drew, told him my situation on the brink of tears… he listened to me he prayed for me on that phone when I asked, at this point im sobbing. I was giving up hope, he connected me to a person that can help me and I graduate from cairn recovery Monday and moving to my new center next week. Drew is an angel 😇 God sent him my way and I’m confident in that. He doesn’t know me personally he heard I was in need and helped me. One recovering addict to another 🥹😭 this is what recovery is all about!!!! Although I couldn’t come to highlife he made sure I had somewhere to go. Drew I’m so thankful to have you in my life now. With almost 10 months clean I’m moving close to my parents and getting my children home with me soon!!! It’s not too late to change your life, just start. I promise you it’s light on the other side!!! I’m so freaking happy thank you God! Thank you Drew for being such an awesome person 🥹😭🙏🏾🫶🏾💐
