I was very nervous when I first got inthere, but I was made to feel like I was in a safe place right away. Most of the staff are laid back, and easy to get along with. They show that they are willing to give you freedoms until you prove you are a danger to yourself or others. Do not do that and your time there should be pleasant and life changing. I honestly believe you get what you put in. So if you can become a part of the community, and share, honestly and openly about your experiences, fears, and feelings, just be real, and you will walk away with skills to help you manage your life , for the rest of your life. If you continue to practice them after you are discharged is up to you.

Great facility and amazing amenities! Snacks/water/juice available 24/7. Private detox rooms (some are shared). Provides complimentary hygiene, rolled cigarettes, and donated clothing. Roku TVs in every room many with streaming services already signed in. Decent showers. Handicap accessible throughout. The only criticisms I have is that they did not disclose all the things one would have been able to bring with them [you can pretty much order grocery/retail deliveries like commissary] and that they try to basically force people (especially those they can threaten with notification to POs) to continue with their STR and PHP even if it was stated during the initial intake assessment detoxification was the only service needed. No assistance was given if trying to transfer to different program on a planned basis not even AMA.

I left White Light 10 months ago. My experience there was interesting. I cannot complain. I went there with a goal of restarting my life and that is exactly what has happened for me. Of course, there were some things that happened there, but you cannot control the behavior of others - you have to focus on you. If you go there and focus on your own sobriety, you will succeed. My case worker, Crystal Lamb and my therapist Tisier, those ladies were amazing. They did everything in their power to ensure I received the best care I possibly could and made sure my goals were fulfilled. They kept me ontrack. These ladies spoke life into me and gave me hope for a brighter and better future alcohol free. To date, I am putting the pieces of my life back together, and I have White Light to thank for my new and continued sobriety. Just remember, this is not the the be all and end all to maintaining an alcohol and drug free life - It's just the beginning. Work with your team and ensure you get continued help for your after care when you leave the facility. Ensure you get a sponsor as well.Thank you to my team at White Light for helping me overcome the first step.

I was so Blessed to have gone through Freedom Recovery IOP, this program played an important role and I believe help save my life. The Counselors at Freedom helped me restore in my recovery confidence in God, myself, and others. I still remember early in my recovery when I was so broken and having zero confidence in myself and that there was no way I could beat my addiction. My three Counselors showed so much Love, respect, and care to each person in the group but at the same time made us dig deep, evaluated progress/failures and helped us identify goals in our lives. After many years of alcohol abuse my life had become unmanageable and my spirit and thought processes were extremely out of wack and at first everything they ask us to do seemed so foreign and made absolutely no sense to me but slowly day by day things started to make sense, I am a true believer in Freedom and the process that they use to help you, help yourself, yes you have to do a lot of uncomfortable work but for me it was one of the most rewarding times in my life. I will never forget my Counselors and how they helped me change my life and I am so Blessed that God has put people like you in my path, the Counselors at Freedom were such a inspiration for me and I will take what Freedom Recovery has given me and share with others and pay it forward that the cycle of addiction can be beat and that there is Hope.

I reached out to Freedom Recovery during a time in my life when I needed direction, clarity, guidance and support. The counselors there were amazing, I enjoyed weekly one on one sessions with my counselor, as well as loving support and encouragement. My voice was always heard. And they were always truthful. There were group sessions with flexible times and days, never felt any pressure. They served the best meals every visit! Freedom Recovery supported me through 15 weeks of great counseling to graduation, including transportation when I needed it! My experience was amazing and affective! I will never forget it! I was a patient at Stanton Villa from January to the last week of February and I'll admit in the beginning I definitely did not want to be there and was ready to leave my very first day there but I stuck it out and I am so glad I did because I feel like a whole new person . I am not yet where I want to be but I am so far from where I was and I am well on my way to having full custody of my kids back. I see them every-day . My relationship with my family has gotten better they're trusting me again. I am only a few days from being 120 days clean and Inone of that would be happening if it wasn't for Stanton Villa and their amazing staff . You can go toa number of rehabs maybe 10 days , maybe 30 days, on up to a year or more whether your there ten days or a year or more no amount of time will magically fix someone a person has to truly want help or all the help in the world wouldn't work. You can't help someone that doesn't want to help themselves. So for some of things I've read on the reviews if it didn't work for you that's no ones fault but your own .Some people may need a longer program some may not . Just because it didn't work for some doesn't mean that it won't work for others . I could go in and on all day but one thing I learned while I was at Stanton Villa you keep what you have by giving it away

I have to admit that I came here with a very bad attitude and low expectations because I didn't want to be here. Nevertheless, they were so good and kind to me that they gained my trust and appreciation. Thanks to them I got sober, and I won my family and friends back. I'm still working to be the person I've always dreamed of being, but I know I'm getting there day by day. Thank you for going above and beyond to help me.
