Ohio Community Health Recovery Center was an excellent opportunity for me to get my life back on track, and learn about the things that I had to fix in my life. The staff was a great group of people who were truly concerned about me and helping me, showing me that there is a better way to live my life. From the moment I entered into the program the whole staff was very loving and informative. Big smiles from people who had the bigger picture in a realistic view for me. The moment I walked in the door until I time I exited the program it was a lot of love shown to me. The employees from the intake, to the case managers as well as the therapist who were all involved were great from the jump and I truly appreciate them from the bottom of my heart! Talbert House has truly helped me. The staff there are amazing, and always try their best to help us. There are staff who will spend their money and make us breakfast some mornings. Christmas, although sad, was truly fun. One of the clinical staff came in and played some games with us. Although the program can be hard, I believe it can truly help you. The staff are all amazing, but a few go above and beyond every day they come into work. Sarah is an incredible case manager who shows she truly cares about the clients that enter her office. She goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is set up for success. Jess, the alumni director, has been great to me. She does a fantastic job reaching out to clients after they have left treatment and making sure they feel welcome if they ever need to return. Shelby has been my therapist while in treatment and she takes every measure to make sure her clients feel heard and cared for. Lastly, I'd like to recognize the BHT, Ty. Ty is incredibly helpful and easy to get along with and is always there if you need someone to confide in.

I have been coming here since 2019. VA hospitals get allot of bad rep but I have never had long waits for appointments. All the staff are polite and professional. My follow up appointments are always scheduled within reason. When ever they believe I might have a medical issue they have always been quick to recognize that and schedule tests same day or next day. Even though I live closer to the Louisville, KY hospital I will continue to choose this as my primary care facility.

I attend the MAT program at Crossroads. The building has numerous programs geared at assisting individuals with substance abuse issues from smoking cessesstion to heroin addiction. I have had interactions with numerous staff at multiple programs. I have been attending groups and individuals counseling as far back as 2013. I would highly recommend this place for people who are convinced they have a problem to people who believe they just need a little support to get over it. Give them a call. What could it hurt. This clinic had my back all the way now people that talk bad about a clinic is because they were probably using while being in treatment I used most of my time there because I myself did not hit rock bottom until it almost killed me but they stood behind me all the way it’s the reason I am alive today they also do Suboxone so if methadone is something you don’t want but Dr.soria is an awesome doctor and the director Margaret is a very caring person. This is the best Methadone clinic that I have ever been to and I highly recommend going to Covedale instead of other clients. The staff here is really great and they care about their patients and they offer a whole lot more of care than other clinics. Going to the clinic is one of the best decisions I have ever made cause, the Methadone keeps me from craving for opioids, and I have not felt any need in using opioids, but it doesn't take care of other drugs, such as benzodiazepines, stimulants,etc., only opioids,but it is up to the patient if they are willing to stay clean and sober. Drug addiction cannot be cured only treated and it's up to the patient if they really want to stay clean or not.

ASAP is an amazing facility. The staff is outstanding and communicate with the families often. They treat the teen in need as a whole instead of focusing on only one issue. I love the support given to the families because it helps to know you’re not alone in the battle to help your child. Speaking with the other parents during group helps with learning different ways to support your child. Tools are taught to teach coping skills that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend ASAP to anyone with a teen struggling with addiction and mental illness!

I have been going to therapy here for a couple years now, seeing Kit Dijkstra, and I cannot recommend them enough. Scheduling is super easy, and the sessions themselves have been life changing on my journey to healing and being a functioning human. Kit is an incredible therapist - empathetic, really listens, challenges me, doesn't just tell me what I want to hear, and really truly cares. Every session I walk away with a little nugget or quote from Kit that I write down as a mantra. Highly would recommend and so grateful for Mindfully and Kit!!!

I would like to share that the VOA halfway house is what you make of it. If you want to re-enter society and take care of yourself, this is the place to be. There are advantages to being here and taking steps forwards.
You are respected here when you return respect. There are guidelines for a reason.
Reading other reviews before my daughter went there had me very concerned.
I felt better even after the first few days.
