When our lives felt uncertain and overwhelming, the people at the YWCA treated us with dignity and genuine care. I am beyond happy that I found this place. Jesus really knew where I needed to go and made it happen. The staff were so supportive and honestly with all I was going through while I was there I couldnt have made it through without them. When I got on my own two feet it was a little scary because I had them there in emergencies and I would be on my own. But they have definitely gave me the courage and support to know that I can do it on my own. I can not give enough good words about how they helped me. I am so greatful for everything they did for me. The ywca is honestly a great place to empower women to get better for people who dont have the support system in their life. I love everyone there and i will never forget what they did for me.

Hamilton, OH | Central Clinic Behavioral Health – CDC Family Healing Center is a community based facility in Hamilton, Ohio. They want to see you be successful. They compliment parents. Take into consideration that their job is to ensure you improve your skills. Every parent has room for improvement. If you do not like it here ,maybe it is because you are not taking their advice. It is part of their job. Reality is there is not a perfect parent out there. Some of the bad reviews with this place I believe is that maybe they were not putting forth the effort. Possibly people need to stop living their life on defense. These ladies and a few men really care about their families. It is not easy for them to watch the kids hearts melt. If you are a client then realize this is your kids time. This is not for you. Yes, it is so you can bond with your child. Please let your child leave your emotions at the door. That time is important for your child. Engage as much as possible and compliment your kids. You can do it. I promise you got this. It is so important to show up. If you do anything on the Case plan the most important part is to be there for your kids. They notice when you do not show up. I came into the ER yesterday, I waited only couple of minutes before I was taken back to a room. Waited only a few more minutes for my nurse to come into my room, and only another couple of minutes before I saw a doctor. They were very prompt even tho the er was obviously busy. They were very understanding of my health problem when I explained what was wrong. They didn't judge me whatsoever. They treated me the same as they would any other person. They made me feel welcome, equal, and worthy of care. In the past, I haven't gone to the er (when I really needed to) because I was embarrassed and ashamed to have to admit what my problem was caused by. The doctors and nurses at Fort Hamilton Hospital did not judge me when I explained, they were thankful for my honesty because now they could treat my condition better knowing the full story, then they never brought it up again. Nobody looked at me differently, or acted like I was some kind of drug seeker. These people were wonderful. They eased my concern IMMEDIATELY, and never said another thing about it. They treated me as a whole person, not just a sick addict and I will forever be thankful for that.

I went through Prospect House as a client in 2012, and it was the first place where I was able to begin connecting the dots about what was going on inside of me. That experience became foundational — not just for my recovery, but for the direction my life ultimately took.
I later built a career in behavioral health, and I often say I learned more during my time at Prospect House than in all my years of schooling. That’s not meant to diminish my education — it was valuable in its own right — but the insight and growth I gained there were unmatched.

I recently completed a 30-day stay at this residential alcohol rehab facility, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for by the entire staff.
The nursing support staff was absolutely incredible — compassionate, empathetic, attentive, and always willing to listen. They made a difficult process feel much more manageable, and their kindness truly stood out. The BHT staff was equally wonderful: friendly, engaging, supportive, and always encouraging throughout my stay.
The group sessions were one of the most impactful parts of the program. They provided deep personal insight, practical tools for long-term success, and created a strong sense of connection and support among peers. I left with a much greater sense of self-awareness and confidence moving forward in recovery.
The environment itself was peaceful and healing. The facility sits on 112 acres of beautiful wooded surroundings that created a serene, calm, and tranquil atmosphere perfect for recovery and reflection. The activities offered were thoughtful, relaxing, and helped promote both mental and emotional wellness.
The accommodations were comfortable, with adequate living space, private bathrooms, and comfortable beds that made the stay feel safe and relaxing. The food was another unexpected highlight — meals prepared by the executive chefs were consistently amazing and far exceeded expectations.
Overall, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking help with recovery. The combination of caring staff, meaningful programming, beautiful surroundings, and supportive community made this an experience I will always be grateful for. Truly a 5-star program.

I can’t say enough about CAT! The simple facts are that this place and all of the kind souls who make it operate have helped me through the darkest times of my life. With a host of resources I was not only able to work on my recovery, court services worked by my side every step of the way to resolve my legal obligations as well. Recovery is a challenge no doubt, However! I wholeheartedly believe that if not for said people I would not be nowhere close to where I am today and for that I’m eternally grateful. Thank you all

I highly recommend the PHP or partial hospitaliza program. It help a great deal because there is constant feedback between you and the doctor regarding medication changes. Also there classes that explain Dialectic Cognitive Therapy to change problem behaviors or reactions. I left feeling happy like my old self.

I've had nothing but excellent experiences with the Lindner Center. I'm so fortunate to have Dr. Raju as my doctor. He's conscientious about his patient's care, personable, extremely detail oriented, and never makes me feel rushed.

The staff there are amazing, and always try their best to help us. There are staff who will spend their money and make us breakfast some mornings. Christmas, although sad, was truly fun. One of the clinical staff came in and played some games with us. Although the program can be hard, I believe it can truly help you. The program can be stressful at times, but the staff are there to try and help you. My favorite staff, Ms. Beth, always had the newest shoes on. She, along with all the staff, truly helped me. I am forever thankful for them.
