Very helpful. Without them, I wouldn't have almost a year sober and truly enjoying it. I value them very much. As long as you understand they are human, and have an open mind going into these programs, you'll succeed. Idk if I should name names but Michelle (counselor) Sara (dr), Mary (medical) and Jessica (front desk) have helped me so much!

I just wanted to thank promedica healthcare facility for caring for my mother so well. The nurses was so kind and understanding and patience with my mother recovering from major lung cancer surgery. When she arrived she couldn t walk or hold a cup on her own. Now with the rehabilitation staff and nurses she doing all that. I couldn t ask for a better place to take my loved one. She loved her stay and going to miss all the nurses there. Our family couldn t thank you enough for all you done for our Mother Shirley Collier. Thank you again!!!!

I struggled with addiction all my life. House of Hope showed me a new way of living through 12 step recovery. The house hosts a safe environment for the suffering addict or alcoholic to be able to work on themselves and get down to the core of the disease. Also, upon graduation from the program you have the option to move into recovery housing of which there are none better in the state of Ohio. The rent is beyond reasonable, you are placed on job search until you obtain a job. Then during your stay as a recovery house tenant You participate in outpatient treatment, a minimum of four 12 step meetings weekly, And meet with a financial literacy coach to Better plan your future in recovery. In short, I have struggled with addiction for over 25 years, served two prison Sentences, And was real close to death. The House Of Hope has given me the tools in unity that is necessary For a complete psychic change In order for me to live a fruitful life. For that, I am forever in debt.

I'm asking about the program actually. At detox how is it exactly? Are the women and guys around one another? As well as the php and housing with the classes. Do you have groups and all that with the opposite sex? It's kind of a distraction for me that's why I am asking lol but while I'm here how is the food and are there TV's in the detox rooms and basically is it comfortable? I have 4 stars to write this comment obvi not bc I know how it is here. So please let me know, hopefully you can comment on this post, not really sure how it works lol thank y'all!

I've been going here on and off since 2017. They're amazing here. It is strict, but that's what people need when getting treatment. They aren't super strict to the point where they'll kick you out, though. As long as you see the doctor and are honest about your situation, they will work with you the best they can. Rules change a lot. Things change a lot, which is always for the better! Doctors are amazing, and the nurses are wonderful and care about your recovery! Lots of groups, OPT, and another new 5 days a week group. Counseling, dosing, and groups that are optional and an hour long. Open 6 days a week. Same day dosing for newcomers!

At first, there was some confusion with the first Provider that did my intake. I am not sure he knew how to treat my addiction since it was not a common substance. Kratom is not widely known or understood as a substance that is highly addictive, especially if you have a history of opiate addiction.I am being seen by a different Provider after that first visit and she is awesome. She (Joey) seems well educated and has been amazing with my treatment plan. There is no shame in admitting you have a problem and it takes a strong person to ask for help. Don't let the disease get the best of you - YOU ARE WORTH IT!

Great facility and amazing amenities! Snacks/water/juice available 24/7. Private detox rooms (some are shared). Provides complimentary hygiene, rolled cigarettes, and donated clothing. Roku TVs in every room many with streaming services already signed in. Decent showers. Handicap accessible throughout. The only criticisms I have is that they did not disclose all the things one would have been able to bring with them [you can pretty much order grocery/retail deliveries like commissary] and that they try to basically force people (especially those they can threaten with notification to POs) to continue with their STR and PHP even if it was stated during the initial intake assessment detoxification was the only service needed. No assistance was given if trying to transfer to different program on a planned basis not even AMA.

I left White Light 10 months ago. My experience there was interesting. I cannot complain. I went there with a goal of restarting my life and that is exactly what has happened for me. Of course, there were some things that happened there, but you cannot control the behavior of others - you have to focus on you. If you go there and focus on your own sobriety, you will succeed. My case worker, Crystal Lamb and my therapist Tisier, those ladies were amazing. They did everything in their power to ensure I received the best care I possibly could and made sure my goals were fulfilled. They kept me ontrack. These ladies spoke life into me and gave me hope for a brighter and better future alcohol free. To date, I am putting the pieces of my life back together, and I have White Light to thank for my new and continued sobriety. Just remember, this is not the the be all and end all to maintaining an alcohol and drug free life - It's just the beginning. Work with your team and ensure you get continued help for your after care when you leave the facility. Ensure you get a sponsor as well.Thank you to my team at White Light for helping me overcome the first step.

The pictures aren’t completely accurate as it’s not as comfy as it appears. But, I did not go there for a vacation. I went there to get help. I needed the structure in my life, That’s what saved me. Basically it dried me out for the first 60 days, but it got my mind clear so I could believe in the possibilities of what could be The real work began when I left. I’m creeping up onto two years sober and everything I thought it was gonna be it is but more. The people there truly did care about me. They were coming from a place of understanding because they’ve been there. It’s a lot easier to trust in someone that has walked in your shoes. I appreciate the fact that everyone that works there other than the nurses are former addicts of some sort. You can’t force someone to get sober for you. They must do it for themselves and they must want it. I had to want sobriety more than I wanted to drink and how it made me feel and how it let me forget All the things I kept telling myself that I was. It turns out I was none of those things. I’m a beautiful human being that has a story to share to help another human love themselves and not judge themselves. Thank you to the staff at recovery Works for not judging me and treating me with love and respect. One day at a time I remain sober but only by the grace of God and staying close to my program.

This is by far one of the best hospitals I've been to they take care of you and do the best they can to help they helped save my life a few times. Though when it comes to treating and looking at parasitic infections hospitals in America are far under advanced and not thoroughly doing all they can to treat them I know I have a parasite but it remains to be undetected somehow and this is truly disturbing to me. I do not know what it is but it has impacted the entire quality of my life. I can only hope God can help me make it through these hard times.

I absolutely disagree to the one stars on here. I had a loved one here and I could not say enough about the care, the staff, the doctors, the discharge. The diagnosis was very accurate with a treatment plan and medication . This place was clean from the lobby to inside during a visit! loved one is discharged, also said, they were caring and compassionate! They saved our loved one for now and if they have to go back to inpatient, rest assure we would choose this facility once again. Thank you to staff that helped and most of all to social worker Day regarding discharge especially the hard work and out of state follow up appts that were lined up with the new team. To truly understand the gratitude I have for this place you have to have experienced the life I has before I came through the Refuge. Living in a trap house, lots and lots of drugs, skin and bones and no one to call a friend. I now have brothers and a life. I m trusted to rent a house. I have a nice car. I have a bank account with actual money in it. Most importantly I have a relationship with Christ and I m truly happy.

My family member has really benefitted from the Same-Day access program (with Delaware County). The therapists are compassionate and offer practical suggestions. The Syntero support staff is friendly and make an effort to communicate about appointments and billing. We're very happy with this practice!

I don't live in Ohio anymore... but during my time there I went to Syntero for therapy. My counselor introduced me to EMDR therapy, which was extremely beneficial for me. She helped me immensely during one of the toughest seasons of my life. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.
