I was struck by how clean and well-maintained the building was — it’s clear that the team takes pride in providing a welcoming, respectful environment for clients and their families. The staff here are not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely care about the people they serve. You can tell they’re well-trained and deeply committed to helping individuals through what are often very difficult times. The admissions process was handled with compassion and professionalism. The team made things as smooth and stress-free as possible, taking the time to listen and offer support without judgment. I also learned that the facility is under new ownership, and the changes seem to be making a real difference. There’s a fresh sense of direction and purpose throughout the organization that’s very encouraging. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone seeking behavioral health services — whether for themselves or a loved one. The people, the place, and the care provided are all top-notch.

I can’t say enough good things about this facility. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was incredible — everyone here makes you feel welcome and cared for. Joe, in particular, truly goes above and beyond. You can tell he genuinely cares about people and wants to see them succeed in recovery. It’s rare to find someone so compassionate and dedicated, and it makes all the difference. I absolutely love the staff here! They are an amazing group of people who don't make you feel judged or less than because of an addiction. I actually look forward to seeing them . They are encouraging, caring, and make you feel like they actually care about what they do, its not just a paycheck. So glad I made the decision to come here ♥️ I was there for the snow storm. The doctors were extremely slow. I waited 3 hours, but I am grateful they opened up. I in how it made everyone appreciate the nurses a little more. They hold that ship down! It was obvious when they didn't come in that day........ Lol

Compdrug saved my life.... I was deep into my addiction to fentanyl when I started coming here and a few months before I had overdosed twice having to be dozed with narcan both times. I truly believe that if it wasn't for a compdrug I wouldn't be here today. Yes at first I did struggle to get clean because the methadone just wasn't enough. But I didn't give up and I kept coming every single day and within a few months the methadone started being enough and I didn't need fentanyl anymore. Throughout the years I have experienced nothing but kind, caring, compassionate service from the staff here. I truly do feel like the staff here cares about my sobriety. I have never regretted the decision to walk through those front doors at compdrug and today my life is absolutely amazing. I still feel like every single day continues to get better and better. Good luck to everyone who wants to get clean. We do recover!

Their detox and residential program is amazing. Heather and January are the two best BHT providers I have ever met. A.D. and Corey are the go to ppl if I need anything and the entire staff care about recovery and are empathetic as ppl come. And Marla and Deana are the best Therapists in the business they are saving lives. It’s not easy but it is so worth it and the best decision I have ever made. Where are my shoelaces? Just kidding. My experience at Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry was pleasant. As a person who has suffered from trauma related schizophrenia, I am grateful for my short term stay. Arriving there at roughly 11:00pm on a Friday night, I was greeted and treated with respect and that is how I felt the entire stay there. These people tried to get to the root of my illness and again, I am grateful for that. Thank you to the social workers for being patient with my unique living situation. Thank you to the community support staff for simply being there. Thank you for to the activities staff for getting me out of my room as often as you could and thank you to housekeeping for keeping the place as clean as can be. Take care. -E.

I will recommend this place to all I love it at this one every time I feel I need to get away to get some help this is where I go the staff and pretty cool they make sure you got what you need I have never had a problem with anything or anybody there and I seen some rates and reviews that I really did not agree with OHP is the best and the staff is awesome

I don't live in Ohio anymore... but during my time there I went to Syntero for therapy. My counselor introduced me to EMDR therapy, which was extremely beneficial for me. She helped me immensely during one of the toughest seasons of my life. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

My experience with years at North Community Counseling was wonderful 😇 From the years I was there, I had various counselors & doctors. That was to be expected due to the type of organization funding NCCC receives. I’m beyond grateful for the people I worked with, that helped bridge my way to who I am today 💓 They opened me up to advocating for mental health while there. They even had my picture on the wall!! This isn’t a list of all the names, I know I’m missing at least one—but Yolanda, Lisa, Paige and quite a few others were instrumental in changing not just me/my mental health but my life. I had quite a few rocky bumps in the road during my (about) 10 years of experience with them, but so glad I was a patient here. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. That no lie!! They brought me back to my childhood like innocence. So much so, that I’m back to finger-painting (see pic)

I’ve been a patient here for several years, I’ve had three different therapists in this time, and two psychiatrists. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole operation. I’ve experienced more personal growth since starting therapy with Syntero, than I had in 15 years of prior therapy. I definitely recommend trying these guys, if you’re in need of this type of service.

This place helped me more than I thought it would. I had my doubts and went in with a bad attitude, but the staff was really patient with me, more than I probably deserved at first. But it got easier after the first couple of days, I ended up learning recovery tools I can actually use. It wasn’t just unpractical stuff that nobody can really do.
