At first, there was some confusion with the first Provider that did my intake. I am not sure he knew how to treat my addiction since it was not a common substance. Kratom is not widely known or understood as a substance that is highly addictive, especially if you have a history of opiate addiction.I am being seen by a different Provider after that first visit and she is awesome. She (Joey) seems well educated and has been amazing with my treatment plan. There is no shame in admitting you have a problem and it takes a strong person to ask for help. Though when it comes to treating and looking at parasitic infections hospitals in America are far under advanced and not thoroughly doing all they can to treat them I know I have a parasite but it remains to be undetected somehow and this is truly disturbing to me.
