I went there to determine the quality and cost of using my VA hospital benefits versus my current Medicare Advantage plan. The people at the facility and the facility were excellent, but many changes to my benefits made it impossible to use the VA. For example, co-pays have gone up significantly. They are now far more than my Medicare Advantage plan. I live in Ohio, and the nation's second-leading hospital system, The Cleveland Clinic, is in my Advantage plan network. If I use the VA, only conditions, tests, etc., that can't be conducted by the VA would allow me to use the Cleveland Clinic. All this means, for me living in Ohio, the VA Hospital system is not a viable option. I would suggest visiting the VA where you live and making your own choice.

Doctor Lana in withdrawal management and IOP, Emily and Elise in withdrawal management are amazing. Dr. Lana is a very knowledgeable & empathetic doctor with a heart of gold, who always goes the extra mile. She really genuinely cares about her patients. Whether you're in the beginning of your recovery journey, in-between, or have some time under your belt, she is who I would highly recommend to anyone. Through all the stages and storms and sunshine of my recovery journey, she's never wavered. Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve someone like her in my life. I've never met anyone like her. Thank you, Dr. Lana, Emily & Elise, you all played a very important part in saving my life & giving me a second chance. And thank you Dr. B for taking care of me while I was hospitalized. The way you cared about my suffering and took care of me in my.lowest point in my.life, on my death bed has always stayed with me. I'll ne her forget it. I definitely don't want it to go unnoticed

There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for the care and support my daughter received these last 7 months. From the very beginning, the staff believed in her, even during the moments when she struggled to believe in herself. They never gave up on her, and that unwavering support made all the difference. The team treated her with compassion, patience, and respect while holding her accountable in ways that helped her grow. They provided her with the tools, guidance, and encouragement she needed to make positive changes in her life. Watching the progress she has made has been incredible, and I know this facility played a huge role in her journey. Thank you for seeing the potential in my daughter and for never giving up on her. You have made a lasting impact on our family, and we will always be grateful. Also a special shout out to some of her favorite staff from her directly: Jen H, Chloe M, Mick, Miss B, Miss Danielle, Veronica, Africa, Perell, and Miss Cindy on 3rd shift :)

Foundations For Living is such a great place. I worked with them for 8 months. The staffs are very nice and polite. They always make sure parents understand everything and will always give us updates about everything. During the time I worked with them, I had no issues with contacting through email or phone calls. They are on top of everything and making sure that not just the kid understands but also making sure us family understands everything. I love how they work with families. It was a very nice moment. Thank you so much taking good care of my daughter and working with us. I will recommend this place for sure.

New Beginnings is a great residential treatment facility I've ever been in. This facility is very structured for those who truly want to give up drugs and or alcohol, and deal with their mental health issues as well. The staff is very compassionate and very helpful to all their clients. The clients are assigned in facility chores such as cooking and cleaning, after being promoted up in the program, the clients are allowed to apply for a job within the programs vocational/employment department here you able to earn a income while continuing your treatment in order for you to have monies soon that you can obtain housing, transportation and anything else you may need upon completion on the program. There are three phases in the program, you start off as a phase 0 within a two week period and you have met all the program requirements such as (program group meetings which consist of 5 to 6 meetings M-F starting at 8:30 am with the last meeting at night at 8 pm, please understand that there are breaks as well as a lunch and dinner in between these meetings. Any yes, there are meetings on Saturday and Sunday as well, not as many as during the week). New Beginnings has three separate housing facilities; Withdraw Management Facility, this unit is designed to help prepare the clients in the first seven to eight days to withdraw from the illegal substances that may be in their system, get them on any medication that is needed for them; the other two facilities is one for men and the other for women. The women facility has the same substance abuse and mental health programs as the men's facility. One thing about all of the units, a client is not locked in, a client has a choice to either stay or leave the facility at any time. The decision to receive help for the addiction/mental health problems is totally up to the client. New Beginnings has outside speakers who have been sober for years, that comes into the facility and teach the clients the way to recovery and sobriety.

I was referred here, not always thrilled about getting new counselors, it's hard to open up to some. Not here though. My hour long sessions go by so fast, it definitely doesn't feel like an hour. I got Lauren for my counselor and it feels like talking to a friend more than a counselor. I clicked with her instantly. If you want a real connection this is the place for you. I don't have any regrets. Not sure how anyone has had a bad experience. You have to be open to it, and there are waiting lists everywhere for counseling. Especially mental health.

I loved it here so very much. The staff is amazing and have experienced or have had a loved one experience addiction of some sort. Their testimonies are so so inspiring. Special thanks to Ms.Jen for feeding us amazing food and making us gain a lotta lbs before we leave LMAO. Thankful to Devin for his groups with us ladies, where he was able to get us to become vulnerable with each other and left us thinking about the topic even when group was over. Never thought I could be so honest with myself nor vulnerable like that with a group. When I seen the reviews I had thought ‘Wow. All these five star reviews, it cannot be that good’. But my disbelief was corrected immediately. Thank you so much Buffy and Mary for everything <3. Thank you Ally for all the cool books and also Cayleine and Seth for setting up amazing activities for us and always being kind and welcoming. Thanks to everyone here who always had a smile on their faces and were so fun, interesting, and entertaining to talk to. Peace out I’M OUTTTTTTT. MWAHHH :)

I went to Seacrest Willard detox and recovery. The staff goes above and beyond for you. They make sure you’re comfortable and feel welcome. The caseworkers and therapist are amazing. They listen, care, and sometimes give you that “hard love” that you need. Nursing staff are so sweet and make sure you’re doing good and explain any medication you are taking. Kitchen staff is great and accommodating. At discharge , caseworkers make sure you are setup with adequate after care and truly want the best for you. I highly suggest this place for anyone looking for recovery and a better future.

Updating my review to 4 stars instead of 2.I have been going here for 5 years. Sad to see Dr. Bentley leave. He was awesome. This place is way better in every way than the Marion center. The pharmacy here is great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is one of the nurses is somewhat rude and confrontational at times. She should leave her opinions to the doctors and not try to give out medical/medication advice. The other nurse is very nice.

I cannot say enough good things about Appleseed and the incredible people who work there. When I found myself walking through one of the most difficult seasons of my life, Appleseed gave me something I desperately needed: support, guidance, and the reassurance that I wasn’t alone. The services they provide make a real difference for people who are struggling, and I am living proof of that. I especially want to recognize Becky. Over the last several months, she has been a source of strength when I felt weak, hope when I felt defeated, and encouragement when I questioned whether I could keep going. She listened without judgment, advocated for me when I didn’t know how to advocate for myself, and reminded me time and time again that my voice mattered. What makes Appleseed so special is that they don’t treat people like case numbers. They treat people like people. They meet you where you are, help you navigate some of life’s hardest moments, and genuinely care about the outcomes for the families they serve. There were days I felt completely broken by what I was facing, and Becky and Appleseed helped me find pieces of myself again. The compassion, professionalism, and dedication they show every day changes lives in ways that words cannot fully describe. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Appleseed and thank you to Becky. The impact you’ve had on my life and my family will stay with me forever.

I was released from this facility just last month and I say with all my heart that with my 10 years with therapy and mental health treatment, that this is the best facility I’ve ever been to. It was a lot bouncing place to place as I am just a 15 year old with little to no support. The majority of staff here were extremely supportive and caring, always willing and trying to help me when I wasn’t at my best or when I would shut down. Though I will say that sometimes the staff do choose favorites but that only depends on behavior. I was a very quiet and respectful kid and I would like to think most staff enjoyed my presence as much as I enjoyed theirs. The staff always go out of their ways to do things to make the kids happy even when they shouldn’t. People will say that this place treats the kids poorly when all they do is their job. Yes, staff will be firm with you and make you do things but that’s apart of your treatment. When I was discharged last month I received a package with the medications that was left behind and it came with a note from the front desk staff stating how she appreciated my kindness and generosity. You will be treated with nothing but kindness from staff like Mrs. Heidi, Miss Tay, Miss Michelle (all michelles), Miss Lindsey, Mr. Joey, Mr. Derek, and just a couple more that I specifically look up to as if they were there for me my entire life. I’ve never been to a facility that has treated me with such kindness and support. Most places including short term always treat you like you’re just a visitor. In and out. Even if your stay here is short, it’s like you’re a part of the family you never had. The family you never asked for but you’re so grateful to have. I absolutely recommend considering this facility for your child’s treatment. No one believed me or my mother when she said something was wrong with me. My mother believed I had autism and when she expressed it toy therapist, my therapist referred us to the best neurologist in the country and I was officially diagnosed with Autism as well as other things that I wouldn’t have succeeded without the diagnosis and the accommodations. I am SO grateful for everyone here and I enjoyed my stay as much as as I say I didn’t like it. There will always be some downs to this place but that proves no one is perfect. The kids will definitely start drama but you kinda get used to it and it’s just very chill when everything is just adjusted to. Yes there will be people your child won’t like, but that is everywhere you go. Do not remove them from this place unless it is absolutely necessary. I thank the staff and network with all my heart and being. I would never be where I am now without their help. I’ve improved SO much from what I was before and I’ve grown to accept that. <33

They saved my life.. plain and simple. Many of the complaints are by people who dislike structure and rules... as is the mind set of many suffering from addiction. Nowhere did I see a sign saying Hilton Regency. Its not a resort its a treatment facility. I destroyed my life with Alcahol and lost everything... New Destiny restored my hope. I was dead inside and not far from it physically. The counseling and therapy helped me tremendously... but mostly it was the staff. The sincerity and dedication to your wellness is felt from the moment you arrive. I was treated by everyone there like I mattered. Today I am clean and sober My family has been restored My soul was saved Today I have hope and an honest desire to be a better man every day. New Destiny is an appropriate name. They gave me one. Everyone on the third floor is incredible !!!!! From therapy to legal advice they go above and beyond to help - I had a very difficult time in my life and was left with NOTHING - received therapy and the advocates attempted court with me since I had nobody and I simply needed someone in my corner. The second floor on the other hand isn’t really kind and acts more like you are bother when you have questions. They were very unpleasant to talk to ( reception/ intake second floor )

I have been going for almost 5 years now. I do love my therapist Lindsey very much, you guys are very understanding when it comes to me missing appointments. My only complaint is that most of the time when I call, no one answers. Thank you and Lindsey for helping me be a normal person in society and helping me be able to help myself. I am very grateful for you guys. Thank you.
