I think my experience was a lot different than other woman as I've read the reviews so I decided to leave a review to tell my experience. I was in patient in 2013 and at first didn't love it, but realized soon after that I needed it. Rehab isn't supposed to be glamorous it's supposed to be something you remember to never do again. I went there and found a new way of life. I'm thankful for my 2nd chance. They showed me how to live again without the use of drugs or alcohol. They even took me to appointments when they usually have you schedule someone to come get you. I didn't have anyone!! I only had myself and that was hard enough. I thank God this facility is there and was able to help me get clean.

It's a lil janky compared to other options in Lorain county. When it comes to options to be able to being your child you want to choose here over Hitchcock. Staff is pretty cool only one or two are unfriendly. Everyone there wants to just see you succeed. Only getting 4 stars because all of Lorain county is shut down from a snow storm and they think it's a bright idea to pile children into a van to take them to class. It's negligent to only think of money over children. A lot of us don't have a choice to be there when it's open due to housing or other commitments other wise we would definitely keep our children safe at home instead of braving this storm.

I have been going here for the past few years for my mammograms. Recently I had to have an ultrasound and biopsy done. The entire staff at the Women’s Health Center is top notch. Not only with their knowledge and professionalism, but their bed side manner is phenomenal. I have severe anxiety and the entire experience went smoothly and I was made to feel very comfortable. Shout out to: Cathy Fior, Dr. Babu, Allison and Olivia.

Dr. Timothy O'Donnell was outstanding—skilled, calm, and reassuring. I felt completely confident in his care and in every part of the surgical process. The anesthesiologists were especially attentive, taking exceptional care with my special allergy needs. They listened closely, double-checked everything, and made sure I felt safe and protected the entire time. That level of diligence and compassion meant more to me than I can express. Every staff member I encountered was supportive, patient, and truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. It’s rare to find a medical team that combines such high-level expertise with such genuine human care. The program at The LCADA Way is amazing and effective. They saved my life and taught me how to work to battle addiction and overcome it. Thanks to them I've lived in sobriety for two years now. I would recommend this place to anyone who is battling addiction. Thanks for giving me a new start.

I have been treating myself here for many years, its professionals are very friendly and very dedicated to helping people. My counselor and therapist is Max Cortes, a very kind and caring person. I love this place.

I have been going for almost 5 years now. I do love my therapist Lindsey very much, you guys are very understanding when it comes to me missing appointments. My only complaint is that most of the time when I call, no one answers. Thank you and Lindsey for helping me be a normal person in society and helping me be able to help myself. Never have an issue. When all places runout of meds they have it. I wish they could open more hours.

I just have to say that man working at the front desk named John was absolutely amazing and gets a five-star review for customer care and service. He made me and my boyfriend feel very comfortable on our first trip in to register ourselves as patients. Thank you so much John and you deserve a promotion!

9.5 years ive heen there.... i wouldbt continue to seek service's if this place couldnt provide them

They have doctors and case management, they are getting my son's mother in and helping her where no one else could for months she's even missed an appointment and they still got her in right away, she is an extreme case, but I've never seen someone go so far to help somebody, and I would recommend them to anybody it reminds me of what the Nord center used to be like 20 years ago.

They transport my daughter daily to a adult center. They are so efficient, they contact me nightly to let me know who is picking her up and what time they will be arriving. The drivers will either text or call me 10 minutes ahead to be ready for pickup. Great staff they have, they go beyond the call if duty. My daughter thinks Paul and Leon are the best.

Personally, I loved my experience at Matt Talbot for women. Between the food that was good for a treatment center that is just there to get you back on your feet and the lovely RA’s I felt welcomed and at a comfortable place to restart my life. I believe people don’t realize that once you bring yourself into a treatment center you’re giving your life over to the care of people that are just there to help you get sober, but at Matt Talbot they do so much more than that. I got a sense of family friendship and peer support. I want to give a special shout out to the RA’s Ms.Shannon, Ms.Lacie, Ms.Robyn, Ms.Arnetha, Ms.Ashely, Mr.Jerry, Ms.Gloria and more. No matter what time it was, they were there for me when I wanted or Needed something. If it was someone to talk to when I was feeling down or just a pen to write in my journal if it was a volleyball game to play outside or to listen to music on the speaker, they did it with a smile on their face and no hesitation. Not only were the RA’s Delightful And like a family to me, the counselors and group facilitators were also amazing. To name a few Ms.Dorlene was one of the best people to do groups with, my counselor Ms.Jill Was very supportive and a great listener. Ms.Liandre was also great with her groups and a very strong woman who was fair to everyone and gave us candy. Ms.Erin I didn’t work with personally, but she did a good group with Ms.Jill. Same with Mr.Charlie I didn’t personally work with him but he did a good group and was fun to be around. Long story short if your looking for help to get sober In a clean environment with a sense of family And supportMatt Talbot is the place to go.

It was too notch care & its a good place to start your life over & the food was catered/great.. It seems to operate within the bounds of good decent Christian values. I been to a luxury treatment center in Florida & Matt Talbot was even better in multiple ways... I asked a judge to send me there because I said I would leave CBCF whoch is a sham... I participated in the McIntyre Center's Driver Intervention Program (DIP) recently. The three-day program was directed by a professional rehabilitation specialist, Bill, who was direct, empathetic, and helpful. I was in a class of about thirty others who were found guilty of traffic offenses involving alcohol or drugs. Luckily, none of us were involved in incidents involving fatalities or serious injuries; on the other hand, all of us made serious mistakes -- and that is where Bill's judgment ended -- we made mistakes, we were not pariahs or "bad" people. Featured speakers included an attorney, a high-risk auto-insurance expert, and others who were previously in similar circumstances to what all of us in the program are facing. The DIP was eye-opening and I am grateful to have taken part. Lastly, the accommodations were excellent. - BK

I honestly really enjoy coming here. I bring my son for therapy and I also come here for therapy. they have many people here that are nice and friendly. they also have social workers here to help with things you might need. for me they go above and beyond for my family.

Very good listener. Paying attention to my personal situation and very understanding treated me as a individual and not a project. If u want people who care show support this is your place. I am surprised at all the negative comments. I've had nothing but good experiences here and the philosophy of signature health seems to be to try to wrap services around people so that we're getting help from more than one direction if we need it. That makes so much sense.

I have been going to Signature for a while and I love speaking with Lashonda Her energy and attitude is amazing she's always well groomed and friendly even over the phone and when we came across each other in the store I appreciate your kindness and your patience in dealing with people battling mental health we appreciate you.

I don't know what all these negative comments on here are about. All I can say is really good things about all the people who work here. Thank you for caring and fixing the problem not just masking it with medicine..

From intake to leaving I was incredibly impressed. Every single staff member was warm, kind and helpful, even those serving food and doing housekeeping. I was impressed with the food and drink selection. Barb's groups were the best. The huge windows in the common area are a very nice touch. I enjoyed my room - when you consider the necessary safety measures in place, I think you'd rate it five stars. I will never forget my experience here as nurses and doctors helped me navigate PPD.

Inpatient, there needs to be more groups and activities to fill in idol time. I found that I had anxiety more when we were just sitting around. Great nurses. And Barb is the best. The food is horrendous. For hospital food you would think it would be healthier and of better quality. Outpatient, I wouldn't change a thing. Great program and counselors. Especially Elizabeth. Also, when going to the ER for mental health issues, the area where they hold us is not good. Left alone for 4 hours, except when medical staff visited. Gave me worse anxiety. Thank God they let someone to come in and sit with me after a period of time. Thank you

Negatives: OK the rooms weren't exactly up to Ritz standards and the food was hospital grade. There were one or two staff members that seemed less than happy to be there and even a little short with the patients. No place is going to get a five star rating. You are going to find faults no matter where you go. I was in inpatient between January 9th and 14th for anxiety and depression as well as "SI". This was my first time in a facility, so I was extremely apprehensive. I had seen the horror stories about mismanaged mental hospitals and was on high alert going in. It ended as soon as I was carted in. The staff was, for the most part, very helpful and caring. They did regular vital checks, bed checks, 4 counseling classes a day (optional), had regular 1on 1 check ins with psychiatrists and therapists, etc... This place was an overall game changer. I went in at the end of my rope. I had hit the wall in every way. This place and the people in it helped me process my feelings, got me on necessary medication, and helped me find outside mental health assistance for my continued recovery. To the staff and my peers. Thank you for your kindness and compassion in helping me climb out of the darkness.

My mother is mentally ill and has been coming here a few years now and she says they have a great program and a great staff. She says they have always treated her with respect and compassion, and that the treatment they have given to her has worked. She is really happy for having them in her life because she is better every day because of them.

Our family has been working with Oliva for over two years, and I can honestly say she has been an incredible partner in our journey. When we first started therapy, our child’s needs were complex, and as a parent, I felt overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward. From the very beginning, Olivia showed unwavering commitment, meeting with us consistently and always going the extra mile to support not just our child but our entire family. One of the things I appreciate most is how she helped me make sense of confusing diagnoses and understand how they interact. She took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense and never made me feel judged for asking questions. Beyond that, she has been my go-to person for practical, effective parenting strategies—always willing to brainstorm solutions and tweak plans until they work for our child. Olivia truly cares about her clients. She’s relatable and trustworthy, so both my child and I feel comfortable opening up to her. She’s not afraid to use tough love when necessary, and her persistence in supporting our child’s progress has made a real difference. I’ve watched my child grow in confidence and resilience, and I credit much of that to the consistency and care Olivia brings to every session. What sets her apart even further is her involvement in the school system. She regularly communicates with teachers and support staff, advocating for our child and helping us navigate educational challenges. Her willingness to work as part of the team means our child gets the support they need both at home and at school. If you’re a parent searching for a therapist who will truly invest in your child’s well-being and in your family’s journey, I can’t recommend Olivia highly enough. We are so grateful for her expertise, her heart, and her steadfast support.
