I think my experience was a lot different than other woman as I've read the reviews so I decided to leave a review to tell my experience. I was in patient in 2013 and at first didn't love it, but realized soon after that I needed it. Rehab isn't supposed to be glamorous it's supposed to be something you remember to never do again. I went there and found a new way of life. I'm thankful for my 2nd chance. They showed me how to live again without the use of drugs or alcohol. They even took me to appointments when they usually have you schedule someone to come get you. I didn't have anyone!! I only had myself and that was hard enough. I thank God this facility is there and was able to help me get clean.

It's a lil janky compared to other options in Lorain county. When it comes to options to be able to being your child you want to choose here over Hitchcock. Staff is pretty cool only one or two are unfriendly. Everyone there wants to just see you succeed. Only getting 4 stars because all of Lorain county is shut down from a snow storm and they think it's a bright idea to pile children into a van to take them to class. It's negligent to only think of money over children. A lot of us don't have a choice to be there when it's open due to housing or other commitments other wise we would definitely keep our children safe at home instead of braving this storm.

I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn new coping skills to battle the disease of addiction. Let’s be real our statistics aren’t good but anyone can recover if they have the capacity to be honest with themselves. AA and NA have saved millions of people who work the 12 steps !!! I pray I stay sober and you get help if you need it . Thanks to counselor Eric , Jahida , Steph , Matt and Jaered!!! Also Linda and Lisa yall were great!!! I only put 5 stars so you can see the review . It’s really one star . This facility is the worst one I’ve dealt with. I called a week ago left a message and never got called back so I called again yesterday and they took all my information and said they’d call me back in 15 minutes to let me know if I can get in but it’s been 24 hours and they still haven’t called nor are they answering the phone and I’ve called like 11 times and they won’t answer the phone and I’m at home going through it with withdrawals for over 24 hours . They really don’t care .

I've been sober since May 30, 2018 after multiple rehab visits at other places and 2 tours of Stella Maris. Stella is where it finally stuck with me. The entire program is great, and it allowed me time to live in a bubble where I didn't have to worry about my problems in the outside world, and I could just focus on healing myself. I can't thank them enough for providing me with the tools I needed to recover.

This is my go to hospital for pretty much everything. It is really close to me, which is a plus. Most of the staff that I've dealt with are great. My only issue is the parking lot. After certain time, good luck finding a space to park. On a couple of times, I had to cancel my appointments due to the lack of parking. I really hope that they can fix that in the near future.

My experience at the Edna House was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. From the moment I arrived, I felt a genuine sense of peace and purpose, and I truly experienced the presence of God throughout my time there. Today, I am proud to say I have been sober for 8 years, and I credit much of that to the foundation I built at from there program. They gave me a new solution to life—one that doesn’t involve drugs or alcohol. The women in the house and the support I received there truly saved my life. I will always be eternally grateful for the guidance, structure, and love I was given. They have doctors and case management, they are getting my son's mother in and helping her where no one else could for months she's even missed an appointment and they still got her in right away, she is an extreme case, but I've never seen someone go so far to help somebody, and I would recommend them to anybody it reminds me of what the Nord center used to be like 20 years ago.

They transport my daughter daily to a adult center. They are so efficient, they contact me nightly to let me know who is picking her up and what time they will be arriving. The drivers will either text or call me 10 minutes ahead to be ready for pickup. Great staff they have, they go beyond the call if duty. My daughter thinks Paul and Leon are the best.

Personally, I loved my experience at Matt Talbot for women. Between the food that was good for a treatment center that is just there to get you back on your feet and the lovely RA’s I felt welcomed and at a comfortable place to restart my life. I believe people don’t realize that once you bring yourself into a treatment center you’re giving your life over to the care of people that are just there to help you get sober, but at Matt Talbot they do so much more than that. I got a sense of family friendship and peer support. I want to give a special shout out to the RA’s Ms.Shannon, Ms.Lacie, Ms.Robyn, Ms.Arnetha, Ms.Ashely, Mr.Jerry, Ms.Gloria and more. No matter what time it was, they were there for me when I wanted or Needed something. If it was someone to talk to when I was feeling down or just a pen to write in my journal if it was a volleyball game to play outside or to listen to music on the speaker, they did it with a smile on their face and no hesitation. Not only were the RA’s Delightful And like a family to me, the counselors and group facilitators were also amazing. To name a few Ms.Dorlene was one of the best people to do groups with, my counselor Ms.Jill Was very supportive and a great listener. Ms.Liandre was also great with her groups and a very strong woman who was fair to everyone and gave us candy. Ms.Erin I didn’t work with personally, but she did a good group with Ms.Jill. Same with Mr.Charlie I didn’t personally work with him but he did a good group and was fun to be around. Long story short if your looking for help to get sober In a clean environment with a sense of family And supportMatt Talbot is the place to go.

The people at the VA are wonderful. Michelle at registration was so welcoming. Dr. Till did an amazing job getting my dad's (Don Ahlgren) eye prescription created. Jackie ordered my dad's glasses. She was so kind to him and got his glasses back to him quickly. My dad's friend, Mike who does his blood work came out of his office to visit my dad. He waited with him while I got the car and loaded his wheelchair into my car. At 96 my dad doesn't leave St. Mary's very often. Perhaps not perfect but the staff is genuine, very attentive, and mostly, like 99% of the time, coordinated, dedicated, educated, compassionate, and helpful. I sincerely appreciate all the progress Signature Health has helped me accomplish the last 6 years. Lakewood location in particular has really great staff but like any other Behavioural Health provider, you have to find people you vibe with for therapy and psych. It takes time. Don't get discouraged. It is the best place to be, and I've been working on my mental health for 17 years with a lot of trial and error. Still working on it. Good luck and remember your care providers are human too. Thank you and I look forward to continuing receiving care there.

I’ve been a patient at the Lakewood location for 2 months now working with Amanda and Maitlin and both have been great! They’ve both been very kind and understanding and although I do like my care providers at my regular PCP’s office, I did not feel like my medication needs were being adequately addressed and to come over to signature health I feel more secure and optimistic about getting my needs met. I will leave another review as time goes on but so far my experience has been great!

From intake to leaving I was incredibly impressed. Every single staff member was warm, kind and helpful, even those serving food and doing housekeeping. I was impressed with the food and drink selection. Barb's groups were the best. The huge windows in the common area are a very nice touch. I enjoyed my room - when you consider the necessary safety measures in place, I think you'd rate it five stars. I will never forget my experience here as nurses and doctors helped me navigate PPD.
