Riveon is a result of a merger between The LCADA Way and The Nord Center. As a new organization that builds on the strengths of each of these entities, they offer addiction recovery expertise with mental health services for each client’s holistic wellbeing. Riveon works to treat all aspects of your health including mental, emotional and physical wellness.
The Key is their women’s center in Lorain, Ohio. It’s located in south Lorain near Oakwood Park. You’ll find it in a historic home with an additional red-brick three-story annex.
Women’s Residential Treatment in Lorain
The Key provides gender-specific, trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment. Women leave their usual challenges and triggers behind and step into a safe and sober environment where they can give their time and attention to recovery. Each woman will have an individualized treatment plan based on an assessment and her specific needs and goals. Treatment includes medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorders.
Outpatient Treatment Options
Riveon also has another outpatient clinic in Lorain open to men and women. They offer day treatment, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and low intensity treatment. I like that they have different levels of care so you can get the support you need right now. As you progress, you can step down into less intensive care. I appreciate that they also offer ambulatory detox as a flexible option to begin your recovery journey.

This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.
