I sincerely appreciate all the progress Signature Health has helped me accomplish the last 6 years. Lakewood location in particular has really great staff but like any other Behavioural Health provider, you have to find people you vibe with for therapy and psych. It takes time. Don't get discouraged. It is the best place to be, and I've been working on my mental health for 17 years with a lot of trial and error. Still working on it. They’ve both been very kind and understanding and although I do like my care providers at my regular PCP’s office, I did not feel like my medication needs were being adequately addressed and to come over to signature health I feel more secure and optimistic about getting my needs met. It is really close to me, which is a plus. Most of the staff that I've dealt with are great. My only issue is the parking lot. After certain time, good luck finding a space to park. I’m so thankful for my care team and the women’s health clinic here is really great! I hear so many veterans complain about other VA hospitals, and I’m forever grateful that has never been my experience. Sometimes the wait is a little long for some things, but that’s understandable if it isn’t urgent (for instance I had a standard dentist appointment in May and my cleaning appointment isn’t until the end of September), but I don’t mind because I always get taken care of. That was 9 years ago, and last year was the FIRST time since then that I had a medication adjustment.
