I've been coming to Coleman since I was 26, they have seen me at my very best and at my very lowest. The people who complain on your reviews clearly are blind because Coleman will treat you the way you treat them. The receptionist are always friendly and kind they are always smiling when you walk in, and they are patient. The staff are very nice. Sometimes they are rushed and don't seem pleasant. That isn't the case. I owe my life to Coleman because they saved my life on more than one occasion. I wouldn't be sober, happier and on the right medicine I am now without the help from Coleman. I have the best caseworker out there who busts her butt to make sure I am okay and we get stuff done on time while having 30 other people on her caseload. The times I've gone to their Ravenna psych ward and took me in when I didn't deserve it, let me practically live in their office because I was homeless and let me use their room with the shower attached, I can't begin to express how deep my love and gratitude is for this place. I absolutely love my psychiatrist and how hands on she is, she listens to what I say and suggest, doesn't treat me like I'm some med dispensary and pays attention to when I'm down or happier too. The therapy is fantastic. They have so much offer if you're willing to try with them.

This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. If nothing else has worked for you, give it a shot- what do you have to lose? Saved my life and many others.

I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i ve met here have been so kind. And if you re a woman or lgbtqia+ you ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me :) (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn t seem to exist here. They ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

Bright View in Akron are caring people. Visits are fast and efficient. The one in Canton also have a caring staff but the visits are too long for most appointments.I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement on any job.

I felt forgiveness immediately. Everyone is so kind, approachable, and well organized. I made an appointment just before the office opened on a Friday. I was in terrible withdrawal pain. Bright View's nurses and staff courteously excorted me to comfort. I'm glad I chose to go here. Group therapy is amazing and insightful. Transportation provided. Very little is not provided. Weekly prescriptions to begin with. The hotline is available at all times. I have been with Bright View since September 2023. Addiction is treatable and this clinic works well with me to try to solve my problems. They're going as far as they can to change individual drug habits and doing a great job.

This is one of the best VA facilities I have been too! NP Melvin and her staff are GREAT, the Ultra Sound tech is so nice and she does a GREAT JOB and for GI I see NP Dolney and she is also GREAT! These are the professionals I see and am very happy with them. I goto Canton VA for other treatments (MH/PT), but the Akron VA and the services/professionals I see are great. They treat you like a person, listen to your concerns/issues and treat accordingly. I m not always pleasant to deal with but they always treat you with respect!

I've used signature health for almost 10 years and have only had 1 bad experience when it came to my psychiatric care, and that was remedied as soon as I spoke with my case manager Dee. I also liked their primary care doctors as well and continued to do so I told I moved out of the area. I still use signature for my psych care, and in my 10 years at Signature health I will say that the beginning was a bit bumpy with case manager turnover but the last 8 years have been AMAZING. I had been working with Doc Wilhelm until his retirement and his replacement Katie is also amazing (I was a bit apprehensive at first but she made me feel at ease) I will say after Doc retired I also opted for a therapist as well and have been pretty consistent this time and I look forward to my weekly appointments with Kearney as well. Please keep up the amazing work!

He is an extremely intelligent Doctor and goes out of his way to be professional and dig into what might be causing any discomfort for you.I had an emergency problem, called the clinic and was assigned to Dr. F. in 2 hours who I never had contact with before the call. It turns out that he was also a carbon copy of Dr. B. Great listener and got right to a diagnosis of my problem and set me up with a quick procedure at the Hospital.The staff is also the best. Everyone that I have had contact with is very friendly and dedicated to their job.I have nothing but the highest opinion of the Ravenna clinic!

I am on my 2nd clinical doctor, but I have always got the best doctors. It is small here but the service from everyone has always been with a smile and caring attitude. I wish we could keep our doctors here but they have orders too.

I had an excellent experience at Portage Path North, especially with my provider Julie Ashkar. She was extraordinary and helped me immensely. She was very professional and efficient. She was extremely knowledgeable and stayed on top of the latest treatment approaches. I felt comfortable asking her about medication changes and was always confident that she genuinely wanted to help find the best option for me, as an individual. She got to know me and listened attentively. When I was struggling with depression she was able to help me get back to a healthier mindset by providing thoughtful, insightful and useful feedback. She even understood my quirky sense of humor and got me laughing quite often! (That truly is good medicine.) I made so much progress under her care that I was able to overcome fears and barriers that had been holding me back for decades. Julie Ashkar is one of the treasured medical professionals who is organized and skilled at following procedures yet still able to create meaningful connections with her patients. From a patient's point of view this is much needed in the mental health field and I greatly appreciate her help.

It definitely deserves 5 stars easily for their services. But something needs to be done about the emergency # you can call a thousand times & maybe still not get through. Me personally called over a hundred a few times & got though just to be hung up on 3 different times so I called the other # the lady who I did get her name didn't want to give me a supervisor # at first until I wouldn't get off the line I told her there may be something wrong with the line.If I can get though, than it goes to busy SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH THE LINE.I said there may be other people out there that really needs this service as bad as me¬ being able to get though So finally I got A a name to email someone about my concerns..So we'll see

I wish that I used the help me grow program when my older two were babies. Julie was amazing and she was right at the end of our time together I felt like she was more than just my help me grow lady I felt like she was my friend and she was definitely my confidant.They also bring supplies to you...including boxed of diapers!! Amazing right One of the biggest things I was blessed by was this past holiday season they choose- I think one family out of them all -to give a $200 gift card to and they picked me and I was so shocked and so thankful that someone just GAVE me something like that! it was no strings attached they just gave me the gift card and my baby had a better Christmas than he would have because this has been a really rough time for me and I wouldn't have been able to do very much for under our tree. Help is what I needed I was so against the help that I knew I needed or I was going to die. I surrendered to Asurgent Health on April the 11th distressed and irritated because I allowed my life to become completely out of control from my crack cocaine addiction. My journey through recovery was not easy many days I was irritated and did not want to listen nor did I want to participate but my counselor got to the core bottom of my addiction when I tell you it was traumatic it hurt but is the destination that GOD wanted me to go and that was deep into my soul to get away from my thoughts for 28plus years I gave cocaine and crack cocaine my undivided attention my life all of my money I destroyed my living situation with my mom almost killing her so my thought during my journey was if I could give all that time to getting my drug of choice give this time to become well aware of my problems 114 days I was in treatment through many peaks and valleys but I stayed the coarse many distractions but I stayed the coarse see you have to stay Ella way from the noise I had two choices I either live or die and my choice was to live the staff at Asurgent health has to be done if the most caring people I have ever met in my entire life all of them I owe my life to them they made me feel comfortable see YOU HAVE TO GET COMFORTABLE IN THE UNCOMFORTABLE and boy did I. See I m gay and to feel the love from all of them no matter what path my life was in made me feel incredibly loved and not judged because their entire focus was to keep me alive Katie has to be one of the most angelic humans I have ever met Jason and Mrs.Rochelle my counselors people listen woo they took me through the valley of the shadow of death and back Tayneisha made me realize that life is full of noise that the majority of that noise needs to be cancelled my case manager Mrs. Shareen looked me straight in my eyes and said baby get your life together so with this being said if you want the most dedicated help come here and please relax and just let them do their jobs they will never let you falter. Unlike other reviews, I ve never had any problems with them getting back to me. My counselor just left and I couldn t get into a new one for a couple months so that was a bummer. I went to a different psychiatrist at first and he was ok but then I felt like he wasn t listening to me since my meds consistently weren t working. But then I switched to another psych/dr and she is wonderful. She s works with me, listens to me, and helped me understand my problem more. She also has managed to find the right medicines for me and that has never happened. I actually feel like myself again, so thank you.

Great clinic. Busy, yet you aren't treated like a number. After weeks of trying to get in somewhere, I got an appointment here. I live 40 minutes away, so when I found out it was a dosing clinic, I was upset, because at the time, I didn't have a vehicle and wasnt sure how I'd make it work. I was looking for a doctor to give me a script. However, the clinic setting was exactly what I needed. The accountability drove me to succeed. I didn't want to let my care team down. Without that daily dosing, weekly counseling, frequent uds testing, intro to mat groups, and guidelines for take homes, I don't know that I would have been successful. It's been a decade since I started here, and after all these years, this clinic is still my safe place. Nurses, physicians and counselors have come and gone, but the mission and care received never change. If you are respectful and honest, you will be heard. They understand relapse is a part of recovery for some, and they won't turn their backs on you because of it. My counselors, nurses, NP and doctors are judge free, encouraging, empathetic, and they listen. They don't rush you to get to the next patient. Same goes for the rest of the staff, such as those in reception, intake, and financial. I've had false positives that were quickly confirmed negative. I've received psychiatric care. Staff members have advocated for me through tough times. I'm grateful to the clinic for where I am today. If you need support and accountability, this is a great place to check out. Follow their rules and you'll go far!
