This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. Unlike other reviews, I ve never had any problems with them getting back to me. My counselor just left and I couldn t get into a new one for a couple months so that was a bummer. I went to a different psychiatrist at first and he was ok but then I felt like he wasn t listening to me since my meds consistently weren t working. But then I switched to another psych/dr and she is wonderful. She s works with me, listens to me, and helped me understand my problem more. She also has managed to find the right medicines for me and that has never happened. I actually feel like myself again, so thank you.

Alternative Paths has been wonderful to me and for me.As a Veteran who can access care at the VA, but doesn't necessarily like driving to Cleveland - I have found an amazing provider (Eric Steiner) here who has given me the mental health support that I need to continue to thrive in my recovery. As a person who also struggles with substance use disorder I have found that he's reliable, consistent, and experienced in the therapy that he provides. The safe and nonjudgemental environment he established from the beginning has been very impactful. I especially appreciate his appointment reminders (he does them himself). His therapy continues to be effective and he has helped me to navigate several challenges. The Alternative Paths receptionists always greet me with kindly. The lobby is full of resources and the rates are quite reasonable.

What a blessing it was to come across Operation 6:12! I came through the program in 2017 and graduated. I’ve been to multiple rehabs before and one big difference was the fact that this one brings God into the healing process. After graduation you still have the opportunity to give back and speak life into the guys that are in the program. If it wasn’t for Operation 6:12 teaching me what a close relationship with God is all about I’d still be wrapped in the chains of addiction.
