This is me in my welding uniform at the Career and Technical Center I go to. If not for my time at The village Network I would never have gotten to where I am today. I’m extremely grateful to have gone there (even though I wasn’t able to finish my course). Arrow passage was exactly what I needed being an alcoholic of 35 years. I was admitted into the PHP program which was amazing for my treatment, I was ready to get past the weight of the alcohol destroying everything that I stood for and loved. The counselors, Thomas, Heidi, Bree, Danielle E., Nautica and Joe all made sure that we were actively engaged and understood what our purpose is. I was assigned with my counselor Sam, she is my recovery angel. Sam is all about her clients and challenges them to not only achieve their sobriety but to maintain a lifestyle they can be proud of. She was straight forward, no nonsense, direct but also a compassionate person who listened and guided my treatment with a very clear path. Sam is the ultimate asset for Arrow Passage and compliments her peers very well. I learned honesty is a nonnegotiable virtue and is not waiverable in recovery, so I’ll say this. If you are serious about changing your life, if alcohol or other substances are steering you in the wrong direction you need to reach out to Arrow Passage, the center was a much needed answer for learning how to get on top of my alcoholism, my family and I can’t thank the counselors and staff, especially Sam enough!!’ Thank you and may God continue to give you his strength to help others!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Unlike other reviews, I’ve never had any problems with them getting back to me. My counselor just left and I couldn’t get into a new one for a couple months so that was a bummer. I went to a different psychiatrist at first and he was ok but then I felt like he wasn’t listening to me since my meds consistently weren’t working. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL DRIVERS INTERVENTION PROGRAM! It was so much more than I expected. I did DIP 14 years ago at a different facility and it was nothing like this. Lenny is absolutely incredible and was always available for questions or concerns. I did 57 days in a rehab and got SO much more in these 3 days than I did with those 57 days. Lenny and his partnering staff were wonderful. I'm grateful to have 'randomly' chosen this place to do my DIP. Had a great group of people. Food was great (SO MUCH FOOD LOL), plenty of breaks, great insight, information and knowledge. Highly recommend Alternative Paths for DIP. Alternative Paths has been wonderful to me and for me.
As a Veteran who can access care at the VA, but doesn't necessarily like driving to Cleveland - I have found an amazing provider (Eric Steiner) here who has given me the mental health support that I need to continue to thrive in my recovery.
As a person who also struggles with substance use disorder I have found that he's reliable, consistent, and experienced in the therapy that he provides. The safe and nonjudgemental environment he established from the beginning has been very impactful. I especially appreciate his appointment reminders (he does them himself). His therapy continues to be effective and he has helped me to navigate several challenges.
The Alternative Paths receptionists always greet me with kindly. The lobby is full of resources and the rates are quite reasonable.

Outstanding Support, Compassionate Care, and Top-Tier Service!
Appleseed is hands down one of the best mental health and housing organizations I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. From the very first interaction, their team showed incredible professionalism, compassion, and dedication to helping individuals and families through some of life’s toughest challenges.
Their mental health services are not only comprehensive but deeply personalized. Whether it's counseling, crisis support, or community outreach, Appleseed goes above and beyond to make sure every client feels seen, heard, and supported. Their housing assistance programs are just as impressive—providing safe, stable options that truly empower people to get back on their feet.
What sets Appleseed apart even further is their excellent marketing and outreach. They know how to connect with the community in a real and meaningful way. Their online presence is engaging, informative, and accessible—making it easy for those in need to find help fast. You can tell they truly care, and it shows in everything from their website to the way they engage on social media and in the community.
If you're looking for a place that genuinely makes a difference, Appleseed is it. Thank you to the entire team for the incredible work you do. You are changing lives every single day.

What a blessing it was to come across Operation 6:12! I came through the program in 2017 and graduated.
