I became my brother's guardian upon the death of our mother. I transferred his care to Firelands in Sandusky County. He has day treatment appointments 3 times per week. I had a lovely stay here! Brittany was an amazing therapist as well as Kellie. Shout out Doug & Elliot for being amazing group facilitators, definitely made the group attendance worth while. The food quality was great, plenty of options even if you’re picky. I would definitely recommend a stay here, definitely exceeded my expectations and see the bar pretty high for my first (and last) stay at a recovery center.

Amazing staff! Kelly is an amazing person and Therapist. So many amazing employees who not only make you feel comfortable but supportive and helpful every day. The staff overall were great from the kitchen to clinical. A huge thank you to the group facilitators, especially Eliot, Kellie, ,and Doug for creating a safe environment for groups and challenged me to be the best version of me. I loved it here so very much. The staff is amazing and have experienced or have had a loved one experience addiction of some sort. Their testimonies are so so inspiring. Special thanks to Ms.Jen for feeding us amazing food and making us gain a lotta lbs before we leave LMAO. Thankful to Devin for his groups with us ladies, where he was able to get us to become vulnerable with each other and left us thinking about the topic even when group was over. Never thought I could be so honest with myself nor vulnerable like that with a group. When I seen the reviews I had thought ‘Wow. All these five star reviews, it cannot be that good’. But my disbelief was corrected immediately. Thank you so much Buffy and Mary for everything <3. I went to Seacrest Willard detox and recovery. The staff goes above and beyond for you. They make sure you’re comfortable and feel welcome. The caseworkers and therapist are amazing. They listen, care, and sometimes give you that “hard love” that you need. Nursing staff are so sweet and make sure you’re doing good and explain any medication you are taking. Kitchen staff is great and accommodating. At discharge , caseworkers make sure you are setup with adequate after care and truly want the best for you. I highly suggest this place for anyone looking for recovery and a better future.

It's was a very good place two detox an residential was very good also,The food is amazing, coffee stays available,they make sure u have cigarettes if u need them, Medical makes sure ur taken care of for your old meds an any new ones u need,I've been two a few facilities an this one is as good as any one I've been two! Updating my review to 4 stars instead of 2.I have been going here for 5 years. Sad to see Dr. Bentley leave. He was awesome. This place is way better in every way than the Marion center. The pharmacy here is great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is one of the nurses is somewhat rude and confrontational at times. She should leave her opinions to the doctors and not try to give out medical/medication advice. The other nurse is very nice.

Brightview helped me when everyone else turned me away.Laura is a saint.she went above and beyond to help me.I wouldn't be here without her.she took her own free time to make sure I was taken care of. I know they don't pay her enough for everything she does.laura is the main reason I keep coming back, she looked at me more as a person and not just a patient, those are the rarest kind of people you find in life and brightview better never lose her because she is the heart and soul of that place.the receptionist are always the nicest and very welcoming.the doctors are very kind, nurses are the best! I must say that Midwest Detox Center should be rated #1 in the Midwest. Iv been there 3 times now and in all 3 experiences were great!!!. Staff was amazing never had any problems and all my needs were met. If I ever had to go again to any treatment center for detox and residential it would definitely be Midwest Detox Center.🙏🏽👍🏽

The staff were phenomenal. They were empathetic. Knowing what patients have gone through in life did not affect their professionalism or their morals. I truly appreciated that. I went there to determine the quality and cost of using my VA hospital benefits versus my current Medicare Advantage plan. The people at the facility and the facility were excellent, but many changes to my benefits made it impossible to use the VA. For example, co-pays have gone up significantly. They are now far more than my Medicare Advantage plan. I live in Ohio, and the nation's second-leading hospital system, The Cleveland Clinic, is in my Advantage plan network. If I use the VA, only conditions, tests, etc., that can't be conducted by the VA would allow me to use the Cleveland Clinic. All this means, for me living in Ohio, the VA Hospital system is not a viable option. I would suggest visiting the VA where you live and making your own choice.
