About BrightView

Known for its industrial heritage and rich culture, Springfield, Ohio also features BrightView. You can access a holistic approach to addiction treatment for opioids, alcohol, and methamphetamines. They provide flexible, outpatient programs so you can heal while maintaining daily commitments, like work or school.

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) combines medications and proven therapeutic interventions to help you reach your recovery goals. This approach alleviates withdrawal symptoms and cravings that come with quitting some substances. You’ll benefit from a withdrawal medication and management plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.

They complement care with group and individual counseling, as well as social support services and a relapse prevention program. These interventions can help you recognize and change the behaviors contributing to addiction. Along reaching recovery, you’ll work through challenges, like anxiety, trauma, grief, and more.

Tailored Solutions For Your Unique Needs

What stands out most to me is their wide variety of withdrawal medication options. They understand that recovery looks different for everyone and what works for someone else may not work for you. With multiple medications, you can find the best fit for your situation. Vivitrol, Suboxone, methadone, and buprenorphine are available.

Guiding Your Recovery Path

I also think their social support services are fantastic. You can access assistance and resources to reduce barriers and keep you on track in your journey. Their dedicated team coordinates your overall care, advocates for you, assists with insurance, and connects you to additional services. You’ll benefit from ongoing guidance to nourish other essential life aspects to sustain recovery.

Breaking Financial Treatment Barriers

Lastly, I like that they help you understand how to obtain treatment. Along with accepting, Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance, they assist you with applying for Medicaid if you’re eligible. If you don’t qualify, they offer flexible self-pay options and can make arrangements with the Foundation of Recovery to cover treatment costs based on eligibility.

My experience with Jasmine D. the therapist was one of the best sessions I've experience in my recovery journey. Jasmine recognized my patterns and was helpful in coming up with solutions to some personal issues. I left the session feeling heard and seen. I would recommend Brightview to any addict struggling. The staff was empathetic, professional and extremely attentive to my needs. I'm excited to interact more within the program. It's comforting to know I'm a client and I'm finally on the right path!!!

Accepted Insurance

BrightView works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
12-step icon12-Step
Many treatment centers base their recovery models on the 12 step programming standard, which combines intensive peer support with spiritual, psychological, and emotional growth. Participants in 12 step recovery programs are expected to regularly attend group meetings, which are free, anonymous, peer-led, and open to the public. They are also required to select a sponsor to guide them through the recovery journey. These programs deploy spiritual principles to foster participants' self-understanding, forgiveness, acceptance, and accountability.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
A sober living home in Ohio is often recommended for those completing a drug rehab program. When you leave the structured setting of rehab, returning home can trigger relapse due to the abrupt change in environment. Men's and women's sober living homes act as transitional spaces to continue developing tools for recovery before fully re-entering society. It gives you time to adjust to the demands of life, in a setting that is free from substances.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Medical detox involves clearing your body of drugs and/or alcohol under the 24/7 care of licensed medical professionals. If you've become dependent on alcohol or drugs (like benzodiazepines or opioids), quitting abruptly can have uncomfortable and even dangerous side effects. The purpose of medically assisted detox is to keep you as safe and comfortable as possible during this process. Medications like Suboxone or Vivitrol may be provided if necessary to mitigate any withdrawal symptoms.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment gives you a safe space to discuss your emotional, mental, and physical challenges. Your therapist will guide and support you as you collaborate to develop personalized strategies to manage your stress and navigate the challenges of your recovery.

Some couples therapy in Ohio is designed as short term treatment to address a specific problem in the relationship, such as anxiety, depression, or addiction. Other couples therapy may focus on general strengthening of the relationship by improving interactions.

Family therapy offers a group time to collectively make an effort to understand and combat the issues and challenges associated with addiction. Therapists work with family members to establish healthy boundaries between each other and their loved one who is addicted, improve emotional support systems, and work together toward a sustained long term recovery.

Absolutely love the staff at Brightview! I felt extremely frustrated and lost by the time I got there. Life has improved significantly! When I do have an over the top frustrating day like yesterday, I felt comfort knowing I could just go down and sit in that mediation room if I needed to until I felt safe inside. I got ready to go but just knowing I’m not alone and they do have my back was enough! Thanks for everything you’ve helped me with Lisa S

They will get you addicted to Suboxone then after you owe a little money they kick you to the curb so you can get back on dope. It's a trash place. Staff was actually really amazing over three years but with their policies changing it's putting people back in the trap house.

I have been to brightview and gotten help twice first time was when the first opened ever. I did have a great experience, the worst was the wait time the first few induction days,6 hours first and 4 hours the 2nd. Now this time returning back and going through the induction process was not that bad at all. I mean literally 3 hours tops was the wait, and if that's all I have to do is come into a office, and get screened, counseling, seen by doctor and being medicated on site same-day, plus you this office is cleared for courts,CPS,etc.... That I was very happy with, thank goodness things are moving forward with brightview they have moved in a positive direction and still are expanding more and more just by the day which is awesome. They offer counseling onsite,virtual/telehealth,and the phone calls from where you feel most comfortable to open up and deal with what's holding you back from moving forward in life itself. I'm glad to share my positive experience with whomever reads this, people are very nice, and can tell they love the job they have ,and love to help people, that's exactly what we need not someone to point fingers and tell us what they believe and read about in stories instead some are recovering addicts them selves. Can't be at that, come on ladies and gentlemen that know they are just done with the old you and you are ready for so much more brightview is definitely a great experience for anyone... Hope to see you all very soon 💯💯💯 great day and great holidays, and a happy new year for bigger and better things...
