Stop researching treatment centers because this one is hands down the best!! I’ve been to several treatment centers and The Ridge is in a league of their own- for all the good reasons! Yes, it is a beautiful home like atmosphere with a lot of luxuries and outstanding food but the main reason I found The Ridge so helpful to me was the loving and supportive staff and amazing program. And the support doesn’t stop when you leave! I enrolled in IOP and am plugged into the many alumni events they host. My recovery community is filled today with Ridge Alum and I owe my recovery to the tools I learned at The Ridge and all the continue support I get from them.

The Ridge is an incredible place to go to for treatment. They keep you plenty busy with group therapy sessions as well as 1 on 1 sessions with a councilor, and there are lots of things to do during recreation time. I’m grateful I was able to find a treatment center with staff that truly care about me and work to foster a friendly environment among all patients. If you’re looking for help I can think of no better place to go to than the Ridge for residential treatment.

I had a mostly positive experience at Lumier Healing Centers. The facility is extremely clean and modern, the food is great, and the rooms are comfortable with TVs and private bathrooms. The nursing and medical staff were excellent—professional, caring, and available 24/7. The staff overall were cool and kind, especially the Lumier Alumni who genuinely care and want to help the next addict or alcoholic. My only critique is with case management, which seemed overworked and at times led to communication breakdowns with clients and counselors. Still, I give Lumier 5 stars. When the pain gets great enough, I and or we get willing to be vulnerable, honest, and stop hiding behind my and or the mask and tattoos. If you’re reading this—YOU CAN FN DO IT!

Don’t come here if your only gonna shower once in 30 days, bum cigarettes, and sleep during every grou, and make up every medical excuse you can think of to reason your poor behavior. Dont blame your medication when you stay up all night and sleep all day, don’t take MATs if you are gonna use them as an excuse for your lack of effort when plenty of others can take them and still work the program. It isn’t daycare, sleeping and getting high legally isn’t sober. You took a 30 day nap. 🙄

RVC is an amazing facility. It’s a great place to start your recovery journey and get to the destination of sobriety. This place isnt rated 5 stars because of luxury amenities or fantastic housing or even because they will literally take anyone when they have a bed available, it’s rated 5 stars by me because they truly care about you and your family and your life as well as your sobriety. It’s the only 9month program that I know of and it takes 9 months for a child to be born, so it makes sense that jt takes 9 months for a new child of God to be reborn. If nothing else has worked for you, give it a shot- what do you have to lose? Saved my life and many others.

I was recently released from incarceration and I was without a prescription for not only my methadone, but for my anti depressants. All of the staff was so beyond kind and nurturing when i was feeling my worst. Every staff member i’ve interacted with has introduced themselves and told me if i ever need anything to get on my feet, or need help before my next appointment to always call and they’ll make time for me. They are so much more than addiction treatment. The doctor gave me a temporary prescription for my antidepressants while i find a doctor so i wouldn’t be without (that helped me not be suicidal for the next month) and they also helped me to get my insurance set up. These people care. Even the patients i’ve met here have been so kind. And if you’re a woman or lgbtqia+ you’ll love Faith the receptionist. Her style and she checked on me to make sure i felt safe when an older man was chatting with me 🙂 (I was fine, he was awesome actually!) Above all, judgment doesn’t seem to exist here. They’ve helped me get on my feet and make me feel like i have a 2nd home in a matter of 3 appointments. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

Amazing facility that treats you right away. This is not just a detox or rehab, the staff truly cares about you and will make sure you care about yourself when you walk out. During my time there we didn’t just sit in a room and talk all day. We had activities like hiking, bowling, cornhole and Charlie took us out golfing as well! Charlie, Zack, Jess, Mike, Jason, Sam and Erica played a vital role in my recovery. Thank you!

Brightview in Wilmington, Ohio has truly been a lifesaver for me. The staff there is truly compassionate and caring. I was an emotional mess when I first stopped there. I didn’t even have an appointment, but I knew I had to get help right away. I’ll be forever grateful to the nurse, Linda, who came to my aid. She welcomed me and my tears with open arms. All of the other staff are truly amazing as well. My Dr. Don truly has a heart of gold and my counselor Lisa is Heaven Sent! I’ve never felt judged or uncomfortable in any way. I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

I have been to rehabs that charge out of pocket and ones that take Medicaid. Talbott hall is among the best places to get treatment that take Medicaid. This place saved my life when I was at my lowest. Detox was comfortable and the out patient programs have been solid.

There are people here who care. Several have played a significant role in my personal recovery, this program is second to none. Outpatient alcohol and substance use disorder treatment provides a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment while allowing an individual to remain at home and continue to meet their work and family obligations. Individuals participate in one on one counseling and group therapy utilizing a mix of behavioral therapies that may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy(REBT), contingency management or motivational interviewing. Individuals learn to recognize personal triggers, develop healthy coping skills and make a plan for the future. Another benefit of outpatient treatment is the peer support that comes from other participants who understand the trials of living with addiction. Through those relationships comes accountability, which is a critical component in overcoming addiction. Outpatient is best for individuals with mild to moderate addiction and a strong support system or for continued treatment after discharge from an inpatient program. In many cases, the cost of outpatient treatment is less than an inpatient stay, making it a more accessible option for some. Throughout Ohio, there are outpatient programs that include standard outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP), which provide the therapy, education and support needed to build a future without the burden of addiction.
