| Nova Recovery Center offers a full range of treatment options for adults struggling with substance use disorders. Their continuum of care includes medical detox, inpatient rehabilitation and supportive/intensive outpatient programs. They have an incredible reputation for quality and personalized care. Their accreditation by the Joint Commission con | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family!
Sincerely,
Dustin❤️

I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

| Alpha 180 in Austin, Texas, health is a behavioral health organization that offers mental health and substance use disorder treatment. The facility is conveniently located in the downtown area. Clients can receive treatment services such as outpatient addiction treatment and the transitional living program. Recovery Services For Young Men The facil | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward.
The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it.
What stands out most about this center is their holistic approach. They don’t just treat the addiction—they work on building self-esteem, coping strategies, and life skills that are crucial for long-term success. The therapists created a safe space for my son to open up, express his feelings, and rebuild trust. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their patients and their families.
The outpatient program was tailored to my son's needs, allowing us to balance treatment with school and other activities. The center also encourages family involvement and offers parental support and therapy, which has been crucial for my understanding and support of my son's recovery journey.
The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. Not only has he shown an improved attitude toward his recovery, but I've also noticed a significant positive shift in his overall mood and outlook on life. We are beyond grateful to Alpha for giving our family hope and helping my teenager reclaim his future.
If you're looking for a compassionate, professional, and effective treatment program for a young person struggling with addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend Alpha 180. They truly saved my son and gave us the tools we need to continue on this journey together.

I have waited for over a year to write this review to ensure my time at Sage was indeed "life-changing". I can now confidently say, my decision to seek therapy there was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
For over 30 years I struggled with depression and anxiety and turned to alcohol to cope. But thanks to the therapists and counselors at the center, I now have the resources to manage my emotions in a healthy way. I feel like I've regained control of my life, and I'm excited to move forward with a new sense of confidence and purpose.
I also attend their alumni group, which offers individuals free, weekly social events that provide ongoing support, education, and networking opportunities. It's an excellent resource for anyone in recovery who wants to continue their journey towards wellness and a better life.
Overall, I would highly recommend Sage Recovery Center to anyone struggling with addiction or mental health issues. The environment is wonderful, the people are fantastic, and the support you receive is truly "life-changing". If you're looking for a place to help you get back on track, this is it.

I rediscovered my self here. I love recovery unplugged. Coming in off the streets with no home and no money but lucky enough to have health insurance I came through not knowing what to expect. They say home is where the heart is and I'm having growing pains after my 9 week stay. I love all the people i met from residential and php there were Many coming in and many moving forward. Each person inspired me in many ways. I was always learning something. it was a true blessing to have the ability to learn and grow in an environment that encourages the rediscovery in self authenticity, healthy coping skills, music and art therapy. Personalized trauma and family therapy and groups on addiction and over coming negative self talk. Learning how to forgive self and others. Heal. And heal and more healing in a safe vulnerable environment. The the community is full of all forms of love residents, alumni and staff all show up as one in creating this magical environment and experience. Shout out to the whole nursing staff at Alb- road. All the techs( Garret, mia, bailey, ect..ect.at Alb -road and all the therapists and Paulina too even though she still owes me a plate of Mole'. Thankyou Liliana- Lili) for asking me the tough questions, forcing my growth through gentle guidance and listening to me ramble. I love you. I love all of you, my love is real. At php the techs maintain the same outstanding level of care as residential. Thankyou matt, Tony,Brandon, Alex, Nico, Claire..ect...ect... You have a piece of my heart with you . Thankyou for having my back. PhiL, Ross, Bri-ttany, new chick jess. Y'all are amazing and probably have the best job in the building I'm gonna miss hanging out with y'all. Jaime in nursing thankyou for having my back multiple times. I will miss our laughter. Chloe in case management thankyou for listening to me and making magic happen you went above and beyond and made me feel like you've been helping people for years. The light worker you are. Thankyou for your effort. Brent, I love you bro I never once ever disliked your morning discussions in fact I looked forward to them every day. One of the highlights of my treatment. Pls never forget the light worker you are. Tracy your empathy is worth mentioning because it takes a very strong person to feel as much as you, guide, shape, and mold as you do, And be as vulnerable as you are. You work within the light never forget the light that you are. Tina, lulu and shawntil thankyou for the fun groups. Last but not least. Douglas my guide, my teacher, my brother I love you man. You surpassed everything I wanted and needed you to be .. we really went to work you and I, and I needed it.. you define the light, a mentor, a friend.. you are someone I will always look up too and think fondly of for the rest of my life.. Thankyou for being my therapist. It had to be Lili and then it had to be you... I appreciate everything you both gave because without being able to talk about certain things I wouldn't have come to the realization or understanding of past trauma and unhealthy viewpoints and coping mechanisms. And none of this would have happened.. I really appreciate recovery unplugged if you can't tell and this is by far the longest review or message or anything I've ever typed on my phone sober so love, peace, and blessings to all who read.
Thankyou Recovery unplugged.

I came though this program a broken man. I was tired and my life was in shambles. My hurts habits and hang-ups had destroyed every single relationship I've ever had. I was morally, spiritually and physically bankrupt with no hope of a future aside from jail, insanity, or death. I spent the best years of my life hidden in a bottle and substance use to avoid the hurt and hopelessness i was running from. When I walked though the doors of RU they surrounded me and loved me until I could learn to love myself. This Program didn't just solve the my abuse but helped me become a thriving and impactful person in my community and reattached me to my faith. [EDIT/UPDATE] Well, it’s been 5 years since I posted the brief review seen above, and I feel like both this clinic AND me deserve something of an update.
I am still a patient of the clinic’s, albeit a patient whose chaotic and life-threatening issues with opiate addiction thankfully have been thoroughly tamed. While Google Reviews isn’t the appropriate venue to detail the grittier personal details encompassed within an individual case of opiate addiction disorder, I will share without hesitation the undeniable reality that without the service of professionally compassionate treatment of the addiction nightmare which first brought me to their doorstep, I would not be alive and able to compose the review you’re now reading.
How very happy I AM here today, able to talk about this treatment and the improvements to and gains made in my life, none of which would have been remotely possible without the service provided by this clinic. Relationships shattered by the damage wrought by addiction have been repaired. My apartment becomes a nicer and more enjoyable place to call home with each passing year as I replace belongings that I sold or traded for drugs in the past and add new ones I never had the chance to enjoy “back then.”
It’s easier to look in the mirror now that I put on new, clean clothes that
I like to wear, instead of rummaging through piles of tattered threads, searching for the least dirty garments I first got from donation bins and the like. My self-esteem grows each passing day. I no longer avert my eyes from those of the people I encounter.
I no longer find myself having to constantly look over my proverbial shoulder, worried that the people I know will steal my belongings at the first opportunity they see to do so. I no longer find myself incarcerated, wondering what lunkheaded thing I did to land myself there while I was, no doubt, blacked-out thanks to some atrociously dangerous combination of opiates, benzodiazepines, and anything else I might have imbibed while barking at the moon. Good grief, am I ever glad that those days seem finally to be behind me.
One more killer perk which I suspect just might appeal to someone out there: I haven’t been dope-sick—or, I suppose I ought to say “in withdrawal”—not even once since the first day I began treatment.
Not.
Even.
Once.
So, if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, do yourself a gigantic, merciful favor by picking up the phone and giving these fine folks a ringy-dingy-ding. You could literally change your life today. Never have I regretted my decision to do so.
One love… ✌️

I’m a single mom, and had just taken my partner to a treatment center of his own.
I spent the first week or so of being here insisting that it wasn’t gonna work, just seeing as I’ve been in and out of treatment for 11 years now. But, I’ve been here 4 weeks today and I’m so much farther now than I ever thought I could be.
I have to thank all the staff for their continued support and encouragement, and even patience, while I’ve struggled and fought to get to where I am now. I’m on track to get back to my kids and I’m so looking forward to “restarting” my life now that I’m healthier mentally than I’ve felt in, quite honestly, as long as I can remember.
Words will never quite be able to describe or express my gratitude towards Omega and its staff for all the love they’ve shown to me and everyone else I’ve met since I got here. I’ve been able to speak with my kids on a semi-consistent basis, my therapist has been so supportive and helpful, and everyone has been able to sit down and listen/talk with me when I need it. I can’t think of a better center than here for my situation as a parent with two little ones at home. They’re my reason for coming here and all the staff have been so understanding about that, and have used my love for them to push me to do better and BE better so I can go home and truly be the mother my babies deserve.

When my family dropped me off at Omega Recovery with 14 years sober, I wasn't sure I was in the right place. I knew I hated myself on a very deep level and was suffering from crippling panic attacks.
The staff was very welcoming and the people whom I didn't know from Adam would soon become like family in some way. We got up everyday and made our own food, did our own laundry, and had to take care of ourselves vs. the traditional rehabilitation experience where it can feel like a catered event.
I showed up here a broken man with many questions and no answers. I am so thankful that my Therapist was in the room when I would talk because she would listen to what I said closely. I openly admitted to her that my actions were that of someone who would be classified as insane, and she was thankful she didn't even have to convince me of it.
I emerged myself in this program and the work and I get out of it what I put into it everyday. The skills I've learned here coupled with the actions I am taking on a daily basis are truly making a difference in my thought life.
I will forever be grateful for every Technician, Staff member, Therapist & Director at Omega Recovery. They helped me cross the threshold and helped alter the course of my life.
If you're reading this, I hope you don't hesitate to come here and try to overcome whatever obstacle is in your way. It has worked for me.

My 16-year-old was just discharged from Paradigm shortly, and all I can say is WOW. From the moment we began the pre-admission process to the day of discharge, every single person we encountered was kind, warm, understanding, caring, and truly accommodating.
My son felt heard, loved, and genuinely cared for throughout his entire stay. As another review mentioned, this facility truly feels more like a camp for kids—with lots of meaningful therapy. They plan frequent outings and fun activities, and my son told us he slept like a baby every night and loved all the meals. He connected deeply with his therapist and the entire staff. Every phone call we had with him was positive—he consistently had nothing but wonderful things to say.
He spent most of his summer at Paradigm, which turned out to be the perfect time to do the hard work and healing. I was especially touched by how the staff went out of their way to make summer feel special—planning events and outings that brought him so much joy.
Huge shout-out to Aaron, CoCo and Kristy (Counselor) for taking the time to truly connect with and care about my son!
This place is truly special. They are doing incredibly important work, and we are forever grateful. I know how scary it is to research residential treatment programs and how much parents rely on firsthand experiences. Please let this be one more voice telling you: Paradigm is a gift. You will not regret entrusting your child to their care.
As my son said on the phone the other day and said:
“I want to go to college in Austin to study Psychology so I can come back and work at Paradigm.”
Thank you, Paradigm team. We appreciate you more than words can say.

We had a wonderful experience at paradigm. The residential is highly monitored, safe and offers enough freedom for teens to be connected with their parents via phone calls and weekly visits. They also offer visits to the YMCA for workouts and weekly outings(theatre, parks, bowling alley etc)so the teens don't feel cooped up in one place. If the teen doesn't abide by the rules, parents are immediately informed of the break in protocol. Medications are optional and not forced upon. Every single person who works at paradigm has been very helpful in the whole process and post dismissal transition process.

| The Austin VA Clinic in Austin, Texas, provides various services through a multispecialty clinic, including primary care and specialty health services. Austin is the state capital and is well known for the live music community and tech industry. Home to the University of Texas, it boasts a vibrant culture and diverse cuisine. Multispecialty Clinic | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have been going here for about 9 years. I still go for my primary and RA. Drs even after moving 150 miles away near Palestine due to better Drs. I can't get an appt. for a new problem for a month or so but can go to any VA emergency rm. or several urgent/em. care centers in the nearby community. I get labs in Palestine and community care for dental and other procedures at Athens, BCS etc.. I kinda live in the woods. VA pays for travel pay so I feel blessed that though it is a bit of a hassle sometimes, I still have free healthcare and meds that could cost thousands a month. Last week I had an ignorant golf cart driver refuse to take my service dog as well as myself and walker to front door. He said it was due to insurance policy. I know my Lhasa Apso mix is a bit different from most but please educate your volunteers. Making incorrect assumptions can lead to legal repercussions.

Thanks to be there.all the staff were very goodness. They give you privacy. But every human is not the same. All the times are on time, for meds, and food, the staff encourages to do well at all times, never left without letting another patient being able to harm you. Always thinking about tomorrow and not yesterday. Even though women and men are together its crazy energy yes but it taught to separate sickness even though we're so close together. The only thing that I overcame on the first day was the smell of nursing home like mental health change is for the better thanks for encouraging tomorrow. -n.r

They provide intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) to help clients with a co-occuring mental illness recover from drug and alcohol use. Located in east Austin, Texas, the Oak Spring Treatment Center is a drug rehab facili | Programs Payment Options | This location off of Airport Blvd is amazing. I stayed at The Inn for a week with some concerning mental health issues I've never experienced before. The entire staff, from the monitors to the nurses and medication staff, I mean literally, everyone made my time there comfortable and got me all the help I needed. They always had answers for me on anything I had concerns with.
One person in particular named Marc Bickgen has shown the most of anyone. He has helped me and taught me so much. He comes to my location for counseling since my wife is using our truck for work. He is always on time, and never once has he looked at the clock to try and run out the door. We have had two sessions at my apartment, so his knowledge and leadership with me in my time of need has been an absolute blessing. I've never been shown the respect or had any counselor take the time to show what it means to have a non judgemental, non biased, no opinion, and provide more tools than I have ever known I possessed to help me.
The Inn and Integral Care have been a life changing experience for me, and for the first time in years, I am hopeful with the future.
Thanks again to Marc B. and the rest of the staff at the Airport Blvd location.

Austin is the 23rd most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $62949. This is higher than the average cost of $56623 for addiction treatment in Texas and higher than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Austin vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Austin. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Austin that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Austin.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Austin, with 26 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 26 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 24 drug rehabs.
Austin has the 250th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Travis county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Austin or Travis county as a whole.
In 2023, Austin had the 15th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 2856 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Austin. All values are per 100,000 population.
