Their continuum of care includes medical detox, inpatient rehabilitation and supportive/intensive outpatient programs. Nova Recovery Center offers a full range of treatment options for adults struggling with substance use disorders. The | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family!Sincerely,Dustin

I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

I'm going on 80 days sober because this place helped me. I loved the Trauma inpatient program. PHP was okay, I felt like it was lacking counseling and also I felt like it was non stop getting in and out of busses. You'll get your phone on lunch and like 90min on Saturday which is nice. But on Sunday when you should be calling friends and family you don't get your phone. The house on 1st street stayed nasty. I brought it up to the techs several times and nothing changed. I would give this place 5 stars but the aftercare completely sucked. I had no idea how sober houses worked or how to get into one. I had to stress out my final day because I had nowhere to go. Also I had no idea how to get a scholarship or even fill my meds... im in their IOP program currently and I'm enjoying it. Aftercare definitely needs to be worked on. I've also talked to many people after they got through with PHP and they had the same opinion. Thanksz that's my Ted Talk.

Clients can receive treatment services such as outpatient addiction treatment and the transitional living program. Recovery Services For Young Men The facil | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward. The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it.What stands out most about this center is their holistic approach. They don t just treat the addiction they work on building self-esteem, coping strategies, and life skills that are crucial for long-term success. The therapists created a safe space for my son to open up, express his feelings, and rebuild trust. It s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their patients and their families. The outpatient program was tailored to my son's needs, allowing us to balance treatment with school and other activities. The center also encourages family involvement and offers parental support and therapy, which has been crucial for my understanding and support of my son's recovery journey. The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. Not only has he shown an improved attitude toward his recovery, but I've also noticed a significant positive shift in his overall mood and outlook on life. We are beyond grateful to Alpha for giving our family hope and helping my teenager reclaim his future. If you're looking for a compassionate, professional, and effective treatment program for a young person struggling with addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend Alpha 180. They truly saved my son and gave us the tools we need to continue on this journey together.JennParent of Alpha Patient

This place is so amazing. I was just a scared, strong out girl from east Texas when I arrived arvRecivery Unplugged on Albert Road. They did my intake at 3am, made me comfortable, and put me to bed. I went to sleep and woke up to the most amazing staff waiting to greet me and start the process of detoxing my mind and body and getting me well. Throughout my stay. I was treated with the utmost respect. There was not once that I felt like less than family to these wonderful people. The nurses were at my bedside checking my vitals, the techs were assessing my comfort. My dog was accepted and loved. After detox, the work began. But it never felt hard or overwhelming. The program is easy to follow. There was always someone who could answer questions or concerns. Even in the middle of the night. I just graduated the full 4 month program for Recovery Unplugged. I am a far cry from the girl I came in as. I am a sober woman, in Austin, with an apartment a job and a bright future. Thank you recovery Unplugged. I can not express my gratitude enough. I came to Omega more broken than I ever imagined was possible. After 6 years of trauma after trauma I was broken shell of myself. I lost 3 brothers to drug OD, one was on Christmas morning in my home. I was suffering from severe depression, anxiety, disassociation and alcoholism. I tried my best on my own for a year going to AA and intensive therapy but was not getting any better. After a year of trying on my own I found Omega. I started in the commuter program but was struggling. It was suggested that I move into the house. I was completely against the idea. I am a mom how could I leave my kids?? The staff took the time to talk with me about my fears. How could I not get the help I so desperately needed, I took leap of faith. I moved into the house 2 days before Christmas. This program saved my life. I was diagnosed with CPTSD. I had been on medications that were making everything worse. I m so grateful to the staff for helping me get the correct diagnosis and on the right medication s. It wasn t easy. I was tested in many different ways. The program mimics challenges you will face in everyday life. This program will teach you how to face challenges in healthy ways. Most importantly you will learn about yourself, and why you behave certain ways. If you embrace the hard moments and search yourself you WILL learn a better way. At omega and with any program your attitude and what you put into it is what you will get out of it. They provide you with all of tools it s up to you to use them. Embrace the hard. Get uncomfortable. The day I was deciding to come into the house one of the techs Jackson told me that the hard and the uncomfortable is how you grow. It s what pushes you to the next level. In 6 short weeks I have grown more than I ever imagined possible. Omega is unlike any other program in Austin. I highly recommend it for mental health or addiction issues of any kind. You are worth it. Take a leap of faith. Embrace the hard. Embrace the uncomfortable.

Definitely one of the better residential centers in terms of quality-of-life. Food is excellent, rooms are comfortable, outings are fun, and the overall environment is very chill. I was a bit disappointed by the actual treatment provided; I found most groups to be somewhat surface level and disorganized, as each was taught by a different staff member and planned the day of, so there was little cohesion. I was here for 35 days and personally I have experienced very little long-term meaningful change after returning home. But that does tend to be a drawback of mental health care in general, so I can't fault Paradigm. If you just need to get away from your home environment for a bit this is a great and comfortable place to do so.

Our 16 year old was just discharged from Paradigm today and all I can say is WOW! The staff here have been absolutely wonderful. Every single person that we encountered from pre-admission to discharge has just been incredibly kind, warm, understanding, caring, & accommodating. My son felt heard, loved, and cared for, for his entire stay. It was mentioned in another review but this facility does feel more like a camp for kids with lots of therapy. They do plenty of fun activities with the kids and outings throughout the week. My son told us he slept like a baby every night and loved all of the food that was prepared. He loved his therapist and all of the staff that worked with him. Every time we spoke to him on the phone he was so positive and upbeat and had nothing but wonderful things to say. Unfortunately he had to spend Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years here but I was highly impressed with how the staff made the kids feel so good and helped to celebrate the holidays with them apart from their families. They had special holiday meals prepared and lots of fun activities and outings. I teared up when I talked about it with my husband. The staff spent time away from their own families on holidays loving on MY child. This place is very special. They’re doing great work & we are incredibly grateful! It’s so scary when you’re researching many of these residential treatment facilities. It takes a lot to entrust strangers to care for your child 24/7 for an extended period of time and I know I relied pretty heavily on other parents reviews. I would highly recommend Paradigm. You won’t regret it! My sons words to me on the phone yesterday
before his discharge date today were “I’m actually really going to miss this place”. Thank you to all of the staff at Paradigm. We appreciate you so much!

| Located in Austin, Texas, Community Medical Services Austin on Ferguson is a substance and drug addiction treatment facility. They offer evidence-based practices to treat substance use disorders, including opioid, prescription, heroin, and fentanyl addiction. They also offer Hep C testing. Located in Austin, Texas, Community Medical Services Aus | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I really love this clinic, all the nurses with no exceptions are so kind and very nice, they always keep a smile in their faces, even though they have to put up with a lot of different people, also the Doctor is super nice and understanding. All what you have to do is follow the rules and you will have a very smooth way to recovery, as my counselor Stephanie said they are not our enemy, they are there to help us, so if they ask you for a urin simple or something just do it because that can save your life.Anyway, I recommend this clinic to anyone that is struggling with the addiction, there is help out there, don t give up.Ok the only bad thing about the higher management is that they love money, if you miss couple of payments they will make your recovery super hard, to me they are exactly like the drug dealers in the street, you get your drugs if you pay,( again it s the higher management), but the clinic staff are very nice.

I would not be here today without this place. Ignore all the noise about medically assisted treatment, it helped me get the strength to stop destroying myself. This place hold you accountable but is also compassionate. I have gotten my dose way down and I have gotten to a place where I feel better about myself and respect my life more. I really appreciate all that they have done for me. There are days where things seem bad but usually that s my fault not the staffs and I think people really need to do more reflecting on their part in every situation. I have been with this place since it was Mars, and I was scared when all the changes began, but they were for the better and this place has become something even better.

I am 2 months sober now and super grateful for the Cenikor Foundation! The Directors, Intake Team, Behavioral Health Technicians, Counselors and Kitchen Team were AMAZING!Each and every one of the staff at the facility I was at are also in recovery and there for the whole community and met my every need and would stop what they were doing to provide me with whatever I needed.Cenikor provided me the structure I needed to work on myself. Cenikor provided me with a bed, dresser, clean towels and toiletries whenever needed, 3 amazing meals a day and snacks at night, one on one counseling, group counseling, informal classes, plenty of breaks in between classes and a lights out bedtime to ensure 8 hours of sleep. I was also on proper meds to help with alcohol detox.Cenikor brought in outside recovery groups nightly to share their experience, strength and hope. I met plenty of amazing recovering alcoholics/addicts that are clean and sober that were once in my position and inspiring the community nightly through sharing their stories.I highly recommend Cenikor for anyone struggling with alcohol or drug addiction! They truly care and provided me with everything I needed to work on myself and continue my sobriety journey.

Best VA services I received, so far. I have VA care in many locations, big and small, from WA to AZ. Most of my specialties care could be in house, which is a lot better than many community care. With good planning, one can get all neccessary appts lined up to your schedules.

We all miss Mr.Bill !!!
All the staff was great. It was the first time in a long time I felt like people cared. Mr. Bill seemed like the guy in charge and was pretty amazing ... SAD THAT HE HAS RETIRED. YOU NEED HIM BACK !!!
Super friendly. The nurses were unbelievably patient. From what I witnessed in the short time I was there deal with an incredible amount of garbage and still smile and help. All the one star and bad reviews are from problem children. Place was great. The Management are all good people and care. Want to help. Even gave me a couple free days to figure out my next step. All in all a good experience. Thanks for helping me.

I m very grateful for this program. Mental health is something to be taken seriously and from day one I always felt like Discovery and the staff understood that and stand by it. My mental health and personal development benefitted greatly from attending Discovery. There were times where the things we did felt a little repetitive but I did see the benefit in revisiting things as well. I appreciated the patience and encouragement to get better.Shout out to all the staff everyone was extremely awesome and I m gonna miss them all!

Austin is the 23rd most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $62949. This is higher than the average cost of $56623 for addiction treatment in Texas and higher than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Austin vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Austin. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Austin that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Austin.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Austin, with 26 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 26 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 24 drug rehabs.
Austin has the 250th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Travis county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Austin or Travis county as a whole.
In 2023, Austin had the 15th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 2856 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Austin. All values are per 100,000 population.
