At the end of July I reached out for help and was assisted by Maggie Keen. She was able to get me in touch with a resource for insurance, and by the grace of my higher power, I was able to get insured just before the start of August and was able to get into detox. I went through men's residential, PHP and currently in their IOP program. Everyone at this facility has been beyond helpful from the start. I am having a new experience here and it has been rewarding thus far, I've begun an entry point with life again and can't thank them enough for the experience, strength, hope, and mentoring that has been shared. I have a better understanding of my addiction, myself, mental health and prepared with new life skills I was able to practice in the different levels of care. I am beyond grateful for this experience. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context. The staff is very kind and caring, experienced and understanding. No nurse ratchet here. You will be frustrated by some of their institutional policies, but they do a good job explaining why those policies are in place without being overbearing or condescending. The reasons I gave it 4 stars, not 5. This is not an indictment but constructive criticism, and a warning about what to expect if these issues matter to you: The food seems to be mostly cooked off site and reheated. It's stale institutional slop, with processed food snacks left out. Nothing on the menu is fresh or natural. I had some food sensitivites and they had trouble wrapping their heads around it. I ended up mostly eating fruit cups and bagels with cream cheese. You cannot order food in. This policy is in place because people will try to sneak things in and this facility does take on patients who are there against their wishes via parents, employment deal, or court order. If you're running a detox, you may want to consider serving healthier food? Fresh fruit instead of canned? some high fiber grains? real meat, not frozen food? I brought this up. Hopefully they fixed it. There wasn't much to do there. They had a room full of movie theater seats with a flatscreen, a broken guitar, some supermarket books, AA stuff, and a set of chairs outside. Mostly you sit around and talk, watch tv, or sleep. It's a small property but you can walk laps. There's no counseling at the detox. Some AA volunteer groups shows up once in a while to talk. It may be helpful for some. There should be an on site counselor that does that job full time. Everyone else has their own specific job and sitting down and talking to people 1 on 1 didnt seem to be part of the description. They seem to be focused entirely on the medical detox aspect of the process. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! The medical team handled my detox efficiently and continued to manage my medical need throughout my residential stay. My therapist Carolyn was always available and helped me develop a solid plan for my continued recovery. The tech staff kept things moving smoothly. The meals were good for the most part (i'm pretty picky.) There was no shortage of snacks during my stay. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. From the moment I arrived, the level of care, accountability, and genuine support was unlike anything I had experienced before. The staff doesn’t just treat addiction. They care deeply about the individual person sitting in front of them. Every member of my care team took the time to understand me, challenge me, support me, and walk with me through the process of rebuilding my life. There’s an ethos at The Arbor that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it yourself. It’s a balance of accountability and compassion that changed me completely. What stood out most to me was how holistic the program is. They truly focus on healing the whole person emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically, socially, and environmentally. I’ve been through many different types of treatment, but this was the first place where I learned how to actually live in recovery, not just survive sobriety. [EDIT/UPDATE] Well, it’s been 5 years since I posted the brief review seen above, and I feel like both this clinic AND me deserve something of an update. I am still a patient of the clinic’s, albeit a patient whose chaotic and life-threatening issues with opiate addiction thankfully have been thoroughly tamed. While Google Reviews isn’t the appropriate venue to detail the grittier personal details encompassed within an individual case of opiate addiction disorder, I will share without hesitation the undeniable reality that without the service of professionally compassionate treatment of the addiction nightmare which first brought me to their doorstep, I would not be alive and able to compose the review you’re now reading. How very happy I AM here today, able to talk about this treatment and the improvements to and gains made in my life, none of which would have been remotely possible without the service provided by this clinic. Relationships shattered by the damage wrought by addiction have been repaired. My apartment becomes a nicer and more enjoyable place to call home with each passing year as I replace belongings that I sold or traded for drugs in the past and add new ones I never had the chance to enjoy “back then.” It’s easier to look in the mirror now that I put on new, clean clothes that I like to wear, instead of rummaging through piles of tattered threads, searching for the least dirty garments I first got from donation bins and the like. My self-esteem grows each passing day. I no longer avert my eyes from those of the people I encounter. I no longer find myself having to constantly look over my proverbial shoulder, worried that the people I know will steal my belongings at the first opportunity they see to do so. I no longer find myself incarcerated, wondering what lunkheaded thing I did to land myself there while I was, no doubt, blacked-out thanks to some atrociously dangerous combination of opiates, benzodiazepines, and anything else I might have imbibed while barking at the moon. Good grief, am I ever glad that those days seem finally to be behind me. One more killer perk which I suspect just might appeal to someone out there: I haven’t been dope-sick—or, I suppose I ought to say “in withdrawal”—not even once since the first day I began treatment. Not. Even. Once. So, if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, do yourself a gigantic, merciful favor by picking up the phone and giving these fine folks a ringy-dingy-ding. The daily schedule may look full at first, but it’s so thoughtfully structured. Over time, you start building healthy habits and routines that carry into your everyday life after you leave. Some of my favorite parts were equine therapy at the Healing Horses Ranch (the staff there are amazing!), accudetox, yoga, and personal training. Everything is designed to help you reconnect with yourself and appreciate the little things again. The villa is gorgeous — spacious, peaceful, and filled with comforts like books to read, a beautiful kitchen, and incredible chef-made meals. But what truly makes Sage special is the staff. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. The sheer amount of lives I have witnessed restored from this program is mind blowing. The Clinical staff are comparable to warriors that quite literally go to war against the things that are holding you back from being the best version of yourself. Is the program easy? Absolutely not, but usually, nothing that is worth completing is easy at all and for issues as complicated as mental health and addiction are, it goes without saying that a massive surge of effort and concern have to be applied but the staff here at this program make that giant of a task look more like bite sized and achievable goals. You will work very closely with not only your own therapist, but also every therapist on site. They have aftercare emphasis near the end of your program to ensure you aren't dumped into the street upon completion assuming you are one of the many people in this world that lack a support system, they also come up with long term plans that exceed simple necessities upon leaving which, if applied, will serve you extremely well in maintaining and growing durability in your mental health. I've been through just about every form of mental health help you can imagine. Short term programs, long term, group therapy, individualized therapy, inpatient, outpatient, the list goes on. All it took for me to change my life was a true desire to live, 1 and a half months in their inpatient care and 2 months of their outpatient program. Now I find myself taking steps for my future that I never imagined myself taking. The program caters to just about every life circumstance and they offer several routes so whether you can only attend it during the day and need to go home afterwards or whether you can commit your time to the inpatient portion of the program, they will work with you. If you are on the edge of that cliff in life, take one more leap of faith away from that edge and call them, I can personally attest to the restorative power that this place equipped me with and I hope that you join the many souls that have been strengthened and filled with a renewed desire for life through this organization. Jaimee, a behavioral tech, sat with me, held my hand, and hugged me while I talked about the loss of my son, a moment of kindness I will never forget. Maureen was always positive, attentive, and constantly checking in on everyone to make sure we were okay. I was specifically on the Sunrise Unit, so I can only speak to that experience, but they truly seem to have figured out how to create a compassionate and supportive environment. Most importantly, I felt heard. My treatment team listened to me, treated me like a person, and helped me through one of the hardest moments of my life. I have struggled with my addiction for 8 years with no avail. At the end of July I reached out for help and was assisted by Maggie Keen. She was able to get me in touch with a resource for insurance, and by the grace of my higher power, I was able to get insured just before the start of August and was able to get into detox. I went through men's residential, PHP and currently in their IOP program. Everyone at this facility has been beyond helpful from the start. I am having a new experience here and it has been rewarding thus far, I've begun an entry point with life again and can't thank them enough for the experience, strength, hope, and mentoring that has been shared. I have a better understanding of my addiction, myself, mental health and prepared with new life skills I was able to practice in the different levels of care. All, ALL the staff here are very helpful and friendly. Everyone is doing their best to provide great service, above being under staffed and I'm sure under padded. REMEMBER, they did not cut their funds, they did not limit the amount of time they are allowed for each veterans appointment. I came here barely alive, hopelessly alcoholic after years of heavy daily drinking. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context. The staff is very kind and caring, experienced and understanding. No nurse ratchet here. You will be frustrated by some of their institutional policies, but they do a good job explaining why those policies are in place without being overbearing or condescending. The reasons I gave it 4 stars, not 5. This is not an indictment but constructive criticism, and a warning about what to expect if these issues matter to you: The food seems to be mostly cooked off site and reheated. It's stale institutional slop, with processed food snacks left out. Nothing on the menu is fresh or natural. I had some food sensitivites and they had trouble wrapping their heads around it. I ended up mostly eating fruit cups and bagels with cream cheese. You cannot order food in. This policy is in place because people will try to sneak things in and this facility does take on patients who are there against their wishes via parents, employment deal, or court order. If you're running a detox, you may want to consider serving healthier food? Fresh fruit instead of canned? some high fiber grains? real meat, not frozen food? I brought this up. Hopefully they fixed it. There wasn't much to do there. They had a room full of movie theater seats with a flatscreen, a broken guitar, some supermarket books, AA stuff, and a set of chairs outside. Mostly you sit around and talk, watch tv, or sleep. It's a small property but you can walk laps. There's no counseling at the detox. Some AA volunteer groups shows up once in a while to talk. It may be helpful for some. There should be an on site counselor that does that job full time. Everyone else has their own specific job and sitting down and talking to people 1 on 1 didnt seem to be part of the description. They seem to be focused entirely on the medical detox aspect of the process. If you need rehab, you do that after, or find a rehab that does detox on site.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! They definitely help you get out of your comfort zone with Open Mic on Wednesdays, which I loved! The mens houses are both very nice and comfortable. Never thought I'd be reviewing a detox/rehab facility, but Recovery Unplugged delivered. The medical team handled my detox efficiently and continued to manage my medical need throughout my residential stay. My therapist Carolyn was always available and helped me develop a solid plan for my continued recovery. The tech staff kept things moving smoothly. The meals were good for the most part (i'm pretty picky.) There was no shortage of snacks during my stay. I hope to never come back to Recovery, but would recommend it to anyone who is ready to take back their life from addiction.

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

Attended the 2-day Family Workshop with my husband to support our son and we found the experience to be very helpful and useful. I would encourage any family in ours or a similar situation with The Arbor to strongly consider attending. The information they provide is truthful, factual and presented with kindness and compassion. All the speakers were knowledgeable and willing to openly share their personal experiences with addiction and recovery, which was relatable to our family, and likely to many others as well. I’ve been to treatment centers all over the country, and I can honestly say there was something different about The Arbor. From the moment I arrived, the level of care, accountability, and genuine support was unlike anything I had experienced before. The staff doesn’t just treat addiction. They care deeply about the individual person sitting in front of them. Every member of my care team took the time to understand me, challenge me, support me, and walk with me through the process of rebuilding my life. There’s an ethos at The Arbor that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it yourself. It’s a balance of accountability and compassion that changed me completely. What stood out most to me was how holistic the program is. They truly focus on healing the whole person emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically, socially, and environmentally. I’ve been through many different types of treatment, but this was the first place where I learned how to actually live in recovery, not just survive sobriety. Their continuum of care, from treatment to aftercare to sober living, gave me the structure and support I needed to build a real foundation. I came to The Arbor desperate, exhausted, and dying. Today, I am a woman in recovery who is genuinely proud of who she is and committed to giving back what was given to me there. I struggled with 8 years of addiction... I never wanted to be one of those people that had to say ah I man I had to go to rehab... but truly going to this place really was not at all like anything I expected it to be... this place was really awesome because it didn't feel like some typical boring office space just going over the same cheesy PowerPoint... but it actually was shockingly something I really enjoyed and ultimately looked forward to going each week. It felt like a family in a way, just in a place full of close friends who could all just kinda unload the weight of our problems, share our triumphs, relate to each others lives in ways that you just can't do with anyone else in your life who doesn't understand addiction. The staff here really cares, and it felt really personal like not just through a I care about my job kinda way but honestly like I'm passionate about wanting to see you make it! I want to help however I can so that you can be happy and free to enjoy living again... and I absolutely got that from this place! I am extremely grateful and highly recommend you give this place a try if you're even just thinking about getting clean... you can always leave lol but I promise you... you'll WANT to stay!

If you are debating whether sobriety is for you, I seriously recommend checking out Positive Recovery. I have struggled with alcohol my entire life and now I’m proud to say I’m coming up on 3 years of sobriety. My life has totally changed for the better. I can’t even put into words how much of a win it has been for my family and I, especially here just on a google review. Todd, the counselor, is the best I have ever seen and this was not my first time in a recovery center. If you are thinking about it at all, you probably need to give it a try. You owe it to yourself and your family. It works, I promise.

I contacted Positive Recovery, searching for an IOP program. Although they didn’t accept my insurance, they treated me as if I were a client. They were eager to help, warm, and compassionate. Their first recommendation was Infinite Recovery, and I am eternally grateful it was. The first person we spoke with was Tanner and then the clinical department. New Hope Ranch saved my life. I had my ups and downs but I learned how to deal with every issue with grace. I learned how to care for others as I was also focusing on myself. Very helpful if you can’t do rehabs. Most likely the better clinic. The only other best option is methadone, subs don’t help compared to that, but only problem their hours are ridiculous and of course if you miss their very few hours they still count that day and you still have to pay for it And they don’t accept insurance except map but if you already have insurance you can’t get map so you have to pay out of pocket and they only take cash which can be a pain sometimes. And intake is $120 for the first week but after that it’s $75 every week.

[EDIT/UPDATE] Well, it’s been 5 years since I posted the brief review seen above, and I feel like both this clinic AND me deserve something of an update. I am still a patient of the clinic’s, albeit a patient whose chaotic and life-threatening issues with opiate addiction thankfully have been thoroughly tamed. While Google Reviews isn’t the appropriate venue to detail the grittier personal details encompassed within an individual case of opiate addiction disorder, I will share without hesitation the undeniable reality that without the service of professionally compassionate treatment of the addiction nightmare which first brought me to their doorstep, I would not be alive and able to compose the review you’re now reading. How very happy I AM here today, able to talk about this treatment and the improvements to and gains made in my life, none of which would have been remotely possible without the service provided by this clinic. Relationships shattered by the damage wrought by addiction have been repaired. My apartment becomes a nicer and more enjoyable place to call home with each passing year as I replace belongings that I sold or traded for drugs in the past and add new ones I never had the chance to enjoy “back then.” It’s easier to look in the mirror now that I put on new, clean clothes that I like to wear, instead of rummaging through piles of tattered threads, searching for the least dirty garments I first got from donation bins and the like. My self-esteem grows each passing day. I no longer avert my eyes from those of the people I encounter. I no longer find myself having to constantly look over my proverbial shoulder, worried that the people I know will steal my belongings at the first opportunity they see to do so. I no longer find myself incarcerated, wondering what lunkheaded thing I did to land myself there while I was, no doubt, blacked-out thanks to some atrociously dangerous combination of opiates, benzodiazepines, and anything else I might have imbibed while barking at the moon. Good grief, am I ever glad that those days seem finally to be behind me. One more killer perk which I suspect just might appeal to someone out there: I haven’t been dope-sick—or, I suppose I ought to say “in withdrawal”—not even once since the first day I began treatment. Not. Even. Once. So, if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, do yourself a gigantic, merciful favor by picking up the phone and giving these fine folks a ringy-dingy-ding. You could literally change your life today. Never have I regretted my decision to do so. One love… ✌️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sage Recovery and Wellness Center is truly a healing place. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the peace and care that went into creating such a beautiful environment. The property itself is stunning — from the pool and hot tub to the cozy spaces throughout the villa (which feels more like a luxury home than a facility). The daily schedule may look full at first, but it’s so thoughtfully structured. Over time, you start building healthy habits and routines that carry into your everyday life after you leave. Some of my favorite parts were equine therapy at the Healing Horses Ranch (the staff there are amazing!), accudetox, yoga, and personal training. Everything is designed to help you reconnect with yourself and appreciate the little things again. The villa is gorgeous — spacious, peaceful, and filled with comforts like books to read, a beautiful kitchen, and incredible chef-made meals. But what truly makes Sage special is the staff. They don’t just show up for you — they get down in the trenches with you. They listen, they care, and they help guide you out of the darkness with compassion and understanding. The clients I met there became like family. Everyone is going through something, and it’s so powerful to feel seen, supported, and understood in that way. The therapists and curriculum are absolutely life-changing — I learned so many coping skills that I use every day. I am beyond grateful for my time at Sage. It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life, and I genuinely believe they saved my life. If you’re ready to work on yourself and heal, this is the place to do it. 💛

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

If you are in need of mental help, freedom from addiction or a mixture of the two, this place is for you. The sheer amount of lives I have witnessed restored from this program is mind blowing. The Clinical staff are comparable to warriors that quite literally go to war against the things that are holding you back from being the best version of yourself. Is the program easy? Absolutely not, but usually, nothing that is worth completing is easy at all and for issues as complicated as mental health and addiction are, it goes without saying that a massive surge of effort and concern have to be applied but the staff here at this program make that giant of a task look more like bite sized and achievable goals. You will work very closely with not only your own therapist, but also every therapist on site. They have aftercare emphasis near the end of your program to ensure you aren't dumped into the street upon completion assuming you are one of the many people in this world that lack a support system, they also come up with long term plans that exceed simple necessities upon leaving which, if applied, will serve you extremely well in maintaining and growing durability in your mental health. I've been through just about every form of mental health help you can imagine. Short term programs, long term, group therapy, individualized therapy, inpatient, outpatient, the list goes on. All it took for me to change my life was a true desire to live, 1 and a half months in their inpatient care and 2 months of their outpatient program. Now I find myself taking steps for my future that I never imagined myself taking. The program caters to just about every life circumstance and they offer several routes so whether you can only attend it during the day and need to go home afterwards or whether you can commit your time to the inpatient portion of the program, they will work with you. If you are on the edge of that cliff in life, take one more leap of faith away from that edge and call them, I can personally attest to the restorative power that this place equipped me with and I hope that you join the many souls that have been strengthened and filled with a renewed desire for life through this organization. Shout-out to Clinical Staff, the Techs and all of the volunteers that give their time to Omega. I will never forget any of you.

Omega was a wonderful experience that helped me to begin the healing process from childhood trauma. After losing my son last year, Mother’s Day was incredibly difficult for me, and I ended up in the Sunrise Unit at Rock Springs. I cannot say enough good things about the staff there and the care I received. Annette is legitimately one of the most knowledgeable therapists I’ve ever met — you can mention almost any book or therapeutic concept, and she’s already read it and can discuss it thoughtfully. I learned so many skills from Annette’s groups. She is also deeply empathetic. Aaron, one of the nurses, has such a huge heart and genuinely cares about the patients. Jaimee, a behavioral tech, sat with me, held my hand, and hugged me while I talked about the loss of my son, a moment of kindness I will never forget. Maureen was always positive, attentive, and constantly checking in on everyone to make sure we were okay. I also really loved the yoga session with Jacob; it was one of my favorite parts of the program. I was specifically on the Sunrise Unit, so I can only speak to that experience, but they truly seem to have figured out how to create a compassionate and supportive environment. Most importantly, I felt heard. My treatment team listened to me, treated me like a person, and helped me through one of the hardest moments of my life. This is definitely where I would go if I was ever in crisis again.

I was in the Sunrise unit. The best unit in the hospital in my opinion. I want to thank the entire staff, especially Mrs Gertrude, Ms Sabreelyn, Mrs Yemi, Mrs Nikki, Mr Aaron, Mr Carrey, Mrs Sabrina, Ms Jamie, Christopher, Mrs India, Mrs Natasha and various other nurses, doctors and therapist that helped me along the way and set a path for me to continue on my journey. I met many wonderful women from all walks of life that made me feel seen and heard. My stay was the perfect. If you're in need of a reset or you need detox, this is the place to go and get just that. They also provide continued help when you're out.The food was okay. I knew it would be bland due to others dietary needs but a little salt, pepper and franks goes a long way, lol. I can't thank everyone enough.

Thank you all for your help! I hope I never have to come back, but if I do this would be the place for me. Thanks to all of the nurses, PCAs and therapists. Also, I'll miss Mr. Bill's fun groups (and bad jokes).
