They're awesome. They are very organized for how busy they are, and they remembered me after one visit.
It's a good feeling to feel like you are cared for in a clinical setting.
The first time I called I immediately got set up on a telehealth appointment and had medication sent to pharmacy same day. Every in-person appointment since then has been smooth. No problems ever.

I had surgery on Valentine’s Day. What an absolutely amazing visit to St. Lukes. Not only was every single employee and nurse kind, friendly and showed patience with the patients, they were all kind and friendly to one another. My nurses Liz, Nydia, Amy, Michele and Kayla were all absolutely lovely. Dr. Jan and Dr. Jim the anesthesiologist were all amazing to work with. Felt so comfortable and safe. Dr. Jennifer Dailey (the Allentown VA Chiropractor) is absolutely THE BEST! I have seen over a dozen chiropractors since my service injury in 2012 and she is undoubtedly the one that has helped me regain quality of life, and reduce most of my pain. Dr. Dailey dug deep into my injuries with proper technique, she thinks outside the box to find solutions, she never cuts a corner when providing my adjustment, and she has supported me with at home tips and tricks to continue my healing. I used to have pain just walking and simply existing in my daily life, but because of her and her team, I am now able to become more active, have significantly less pain, and sleep uninterrupted throughout the night.
If you are a veteran in pain, do yourself a favor and ask for her. If you are an employee or supervisor at the VA, go shake her hand because she deserves it.

It was a life transforming experience for me. I learned so much. At the age of 62, I have been "On the Couch" a time or two. The atmosphere was down to earth. My experiences were "Real" experiences in Group Sessions and with my counselors... especially Alex and Christina.
If you want to have a good chance of getting well? Try Pyramid...good folks...if you want to get help...
There are some patient's as within other facilities, that are abiding with court orders...etc...ONLY. I get it. Some patients aren't ready to give it all up. And as reason would have it...gamble with their lives and those of others? We are all adults right? So fine...that's their choice....
But if you really want to get better? Get with Pyramid. At the very least, will get you pointed in the right direction. Then it's all up to you...and that's easier said then done. Trust me...you will have to work to maintain your health. No program will save you without a good personal effort.
As a life long Trauma Respiratory Therapist...I have seen my fair share of traffic accidents...many leading to death.
It's just not about you. It's also about the safety of others...

This agency is top of the line! The experiences with staff there (counselors, receptionists, psychiatrists, and even management) has been excellent. I am thoroughly pleased with their Family Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS). And although the first two counselors were not good matches for my individual therapy, We finally made a connection with the next one!
They do have a stringent attendance policy but with good reasons....without consistency there is not good progress.
Very professional staff. Also very experienced and knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for clients that are willing to put in the effort.:)

Psychiatry is a very subjective thing. It’s going to be a completely different experience for every individual. Just because one person has a negative experience doesn’t necessarily mean the practice or doctors are bad. It means it wasn’t the right place for that person. This isn’t a pair of jeans your buying on Amazon. This is a very personal thing. What works for me might not work for you. Please know this practice has MANY patients whose lives are so much better because of the care they’re received here. Try them for yourself before you arbitrarily decide they’re a “horrible” practice, because for me, it’s quite the opposite. I normally don't write reviews for doctor's offices, but I wanted to balance out some of the negative reviews here. I've been going to this office for six months and have had 3 visits; two with Dr. Sundeep Virdi and one with a PA, Krista Carson. Every time that I've been to the office, I've been received promptly and courteously, and the staff have always been kind.
When you become a new patient, the office lets you know that you need to request a refill at least one week ahead of time. I've never left a voicemail, so perhaps that system is less efficient. That said, whenever I've requested a refill or even a new dosage through the online portal, my request was addressed within a business day or two. This is also true for when I've had a question or concern.
In regards to my particular care team, Dr. Virdi is both efficient and thorough, and I felt like he genuinely wanted to help me. Krista was friendly and made me feel very included in managing my treatment plan. Both providers are knowledgeable and gave excellent care.

Allentown is the 179th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56226. This is comparable to the average cost of $56708 for addiction treatment in Pennsylvania and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Allentown vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Allentown. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Allentown that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Allentown.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Allentown, with 9 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Cigna is the 2nd most popular with 8 treatment centers accepting it followed by Humana in 3rd accepted by 7 drug rehabs.
Allentown has the 88th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Lehigh county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Allentown or Lehigh county as a whole.
All values are per 100,000 population.
