I had surgery on Valentine s Day. What an absolutely amazing visit to St. Lukes. Not only was every single employee and nurse kind, friendly and showed patience with the patients, they were all kind and friendly to one another. My nurses Liz, Nydia, Amy, Michele and Kayla were all absolutely lovely. Dr. Jan and Dr. Jim the anesthesiologist were all amazing to work with. Felt so comfortable and safe. Highly recommend this hospital and its staff!

I have had 3 surgeries performed at the Sacred Heart facility. Every time I was there I had a good experience. All of the staff were very professional and very nice. The surgical services care team were the best. A shout out to Michele, Nydia , Wendy , Liz, Lydia .The anesthesiologist and assistants great job too . Thank you Dr Banzhoff , another job well done. I cannot say enough positive things about Sacred Heart's surgical unit! I had elective surgery and the experience was personal, professional and perfect from the moment I checked in at the front desk to be escorted out! Dr. Jennifer Dailey (the Allentown VA Chiropractor) is absolutely THE BEST! I have seen over a dozen chiropractors since my service injury in 2012 and she is undoubtedly the one that has helped me regain quality of life, and reduce most of my pain. Dr. Dailey dug deep into my injuries with proper technique, she thinks outside the box to find solutions, she never cuts a corner when providing my adjustment, and she has supported me with at home tips and tricks to continue my healing. I used to have pain just walking and simply existing in my daily life, but because of her and her team, I am now able to become more active, have significantly less pain, and sleep uninterrupted throughout the night.If you are a veteran in pain, do yourself a favor and ask for her. If you are an employee or supervisor at the VA, go shake her hand because she deserves it.10/10

It was a life transforming experience for me. I learned so much. At the age of 62, I have been "On the Couch" a time or two. The atmosphere was down to earth. My experiences were "Real" experiences in Group Sessions and with my counselors... especially Alex and Christina.If you want to have a good chance of getting well? Try Pyramid...good folks...if you want to get help...There are some patient's as within other facilities, that are abiding with court orders...etc...ONLY. I get it. Some patients aren't ready to give it all up. And as reason would have it...gamble with their lives and those of others? We are all adults right? So fine...that's their choice....But if you really want to get better? Get with Pyramid. At the very least, will get you pointed in the right direction. Then it's all up to you...and that's easier said then done. Trust me...you will have to work to maintain your health. My time at pyramid gave me great insight into my reasons for my addiction. all of my councilors and support team were great and were quick to help when I had an issue.i've received the tools I need to rebuild my life and stay sober and productive. I've been with Holcomb since May 23 2023. I have all services (ICM therapy and medication management) very good with matching me with the staff that's been helping me get my life on track. Scheduling is never an issue for any service. I feel heard and understood. I have been working with the company and the same ICM, Alyssa, for over a year for sure maybe almost 2. I don t have any complaints. If I need her in a crisis I send a text or call the after hours number for help. During our time together we work on the necessary things to help me better function in every day life with friends family, social situations . And so many other ways where I may need the help. I am very greatful for the service that Holcomb Behavioral Health has been able to provide me with. I can t expect them to do everything for me either so I do make lists of things for us to go over just so I don t forget. Over all I m super appreciative!

This agency is top of the line! The experiences with staff there (counselors, receptionists, psychiatrists, and even management) has been excellent. I am thoroughly pleased with their Family Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS). And although the first two counselors were not good matches for my individual therapy, We finally made a connection with the next one!They do have a stringent attendance policy but with good reasons....without consistency there is not good progress.Very professional staff. Also very experienced and knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for clients that are willing to put in the effort.:)

Please don t dismiss this practice based on the negative reviews posted here. Psychiatry is a very subjective thing. It s going to be a completely different experience for every individual. Just because one person has a negative experience doesn t necessarily mean the practice or doctors are bad. It means it wasn t the right place for that person. This isn t a pair of jeans your buying on Amazon. This is a very personal thing. What works for me might not work for you. Please know this practice has MANY patients whose lives are so much better because of the care they re received here. Try them for yourself before you arbitrarily decide they re a horrible practice, because for me, it s quite the opposite. I hate coming here, not because I don t like them, but because of the reason I have to go there in the first place. Don t judge until you know for sure.

I normally don't write reviews for doctor's offices, but I wanted to balance out some of the negative reviews here. I've been going to this office for six months and have had 3 visits; two with Dr. Sundeep Virdi and one with a PA, Krista Carson. Every time that I've been to the office, I've been received promptly and courteously, and the staff have always been kind.When you become a new patient, the office lets you know that you need to request a refill at least one week ahead of time. I've never left a voicemail, so perhaps that system is less efficient. That said, whenever I've requested a refill or even a new dosage through the online portal, my request was addressed within a business day or two. This is also true for when I've had a question or concern.In regards to my particular care team, Dr. Virdi is both efficient and thorough, and I felt like he genuinely wanted to help me. Krista was friendly and made me feel very included in managing my treatment plan. Both providers are knowledgeable and gave excellent care.

I been on this Methadone Program about 7 years. I'm older n my addiction started in the 80's - Outpatient programs, then inpatient was a way of life off n on-over 20 yrs. I live in Q-twn now but Philly was what I wanted n used even more -long story but I'm home n been clean. I get 28 take homes n yes it took time, it's all worth it! Thank Heaven I am where I am ! This is my first time going to a clinic after being an active user for 18 years. I was previously receiving a different form of MAT from an online company and after three years with them, I finally decided to move on with my life instead of constantly feeling invalidated, unheard and just stuck. My entire life went on pause while being a patient at this other place. I had major surgery May of last year, which is when I joined the NEFHC community, & everyone was so kind to me and worked with me as I transitioned to different medications and healed from my surgery. I was not happy about the counselor I was assigned to at first, but then one of my greatest wishes came true and I was reassigned to the most amazing counselor I have EVER met. I pray with everything in me that she doesn't leave the facility. She has been my saving grace. & the director is absolutely wonderful and helped me through a very terrifying time back in November. I am just all around grateful for everyone at this facility and I would give 40+ stars if possible. This is the ONLY clinic I will be referring anyone to. Thank you so much NEFHC Team for working extra hard to be our sanity and helping to guide us through life after active addiction. I am forever grateful for each and every single one of you!

WDR was my first and hopefully last rehab. I didn t really know what to expect but I can say this place and everyone who works there are top notch. From the kitchen staff to housekeeping. The nurse and techs cared more about my recovery than I did. They really try to work with you. My case worker Donna was the bomb and even though she was in charge of my case that didn t stop any of the workers from helping me when I needed it. The techs have a story of their own and they really get it. No one was judge mental and they treated everyone like a human being. There isn t one person who worked there that I wish I didn t meet. I honestly wish I could have bought them all home with me. Even the community was awesome. Clients helping clients. I give WDR a 10+ on the rating skill. The director even steps in and got his hands dirty. It s team work at its best. I honestly fought the program the whole time for my own reasons. A week later I m still sober Thanks WDR for believing in me even when I didn t believe in myself you guys made a good impact on me and my family Loves y all more. They deal with a lot. They can range from extremely helpful, to them being overwhelmed, but it is not them being inconsiderate they just have a lot of clients.Barbara is the star of the show here. She is empathetic and truly cares. She goes above and beyond for her patients and I believe she is what keeps this place running smoothly!

I won t go into specific details of who is the patient but I ve been to many different behavioral health practices and this one by far as given me the most hope, the most reliable, professional staff and have made things better in so many ways. The office staff is absolutely the best. I haven t talked to all of the providers there in a session capacity but the 2 that I have are beyond awesome and all the others are friendly and I would feel comfortable as their patient as well. Thank you!!

Holcomb has been a life saver. They actually care about you and what you are going through and they treat you with the upmost respect and are extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable, they now have 2 Drs who can prescribe medication if needed and I have personally interacted with 4 different therapist and they are all just wonderful and help teach you the tools and coping skills to apply in your everyday routine

New Orefield facility is far, but there is a bus 5 out of 6 days and Sunday is closed so they supply a take home on Saturday as long as you have a lockbox.The new facility is a HUGE step up! It's very clean, big and beautiful! All new staff seem amazing and the few older staff who stuck around were always amazing. This is the place you want to be if you're ready to get your life back. This was my first experience with St. Luke s, and I was very impressed. After a bout with the norivirus and a fall at her nursing home in Schuylkill County, My 92-year-old mother was in bad shape with the virus, rhabdo, and pneumonia. This was her 3rd hospital in 24-hours as she needed a trauma center due to possible brain bleed. She arrived the eve of Jan. 9, and the ER doctors and nurses were AMAZING! Mom needed a TON of care, and they provided it with compassion AND explained everything to me in detail, which was very comforting. Eventually, she got a room upstairs, where we experienced the same level of professional care. I am convinced that the professionalism shown to mom over her five days there saved her life and her QUALITY of life. She is doing well! I am very grateful!
