My older son has his IBHS services through Holcombe, and we went to this location when he had his initial intake. With the exception of one really awful behavioral consultant, (who has since left the company) the staff and therapists here are fantastic. They’re communicative, reliable and know what they’re doing. My son really trusts and responds to the therapist and behavioral consultant that work with him.

When looking for treatment I went into it completely blindly and had no idea what to expect or anticipate. I am so happy and grateful I found and chose Pinelands. The entire staff from intake, to the tech and therapists were absolutely amazing. You could tell they truly cared and were there for any help that was needed. A majority of their staff is also in recovery which I feel like helped a lot because they had previously been through this as well. Their alumni program and app is awesome in keeping involved and connected once you leave. I just celebrated 4 months sober and I cannot remember the last time I was this truly happy and healthy in life. I just finished my summer semester with As after deciding to go back to college, have spent quality time making some great memories with family and friends and have found some new hobbies I absolutely love. I would never have accomplished all this without Pinelands. If you’re looking for help, this is by far one of the best places to go.

I am pleased to give this 5-star review of MRC. I attended PHP and IOP, and had individual counseling twice a week. The counselors are excellent. They encourage a lot of participation in the groups. The topics are relevant to recovery- stress management, 12 steps, nutrition, body-mind connection, gratitude, and a lot more. Weekly yoga is offered and it doesn't matter what level you are. I was supported and cared for all the way through the process of outpatient recovery.

I spent a little over a month there. It wasn't under the best circumstances, and I was scared, nervous, and unsure about everything that was happening to me. Everyone that I dealt with there was incredibly kind, sympathetic, helpful, reassuring, and professional. I’ve had the best experience at Livengrin—the staff is honestly the most helpful I’ve ever encountered being in a treatment facility. I feel like the counselors and techs and even administration truly care about ALL patients and encourage us to be the best version of ourselves. Even coming back in a few times, it’s not like I’ve been judged-ever. They’ve always welcomed me back with open arms and a little tough love and honesty—which I desperately needed. I joke that livengrin is a home away from home but I have so many positive relationships that stemmed from this facility. I plan on coming back here to work someday. Nothing but great things to say about my stay at livengrin and would recommend to anyone seeking drug alcohol treatment AND mental health services!!

The Manor has thoughtful staff and a comprehensive mental health treatment program utilizing groups and counselors along with outside psychiatrists and therapists. I grew a lot over the two years I spent in the program with time spent at their main house and a graduate house. Manor of Hope also addresses drug and alcohol abuse along with other addictions. My son recently completed a 12-month treatment program at the Manor of Hope and his recovery from substance use issues is nothing short of miraculous due largely in part to the care he received at the Manor from Steve Killelea and his staff of highly skilled counselors. Every parent's nightmare is watching your kid battle the demons that mental illness and drugs unleash on them. Long care treatment facilities like the Manor work better to treat addiction than the short-term, for-profit institutions that fail more often than not to help those suffering from these illnesses. My current relationship with my son is night and day as Steve has helped to guide him into adulthood. Steve not only helped my son but counseled my wife and I on how to deal with my boy as he transitions back to family life. I am profoundly grateful and thankful to have crossed paths with Steve and the Manor of Hope and highly recommend the long-term care and treatment programs that the Manor can offer to those suffering from addiction and mental illness.

The Manor of Hope is making a huge difference in our son’s life. We were desperate and needed help for our son, who is on the autistic spectrum. Steve took our son under his wing, and now he is learning how to live independently, slowly but surely. We did not think an independent life would be possible for him. Steve and our son’s mentor, along with the other staff are teaching him skills that will last a lifetime. He recently was hired for a part-time job and is enrolled in a college course. The professionals that Steve have connected our son with, such as his psychiatrist and therapist, are excellent.
The Manor of Hope has so many opportunities. Our son is learning how to cook through a weekly culinary class. He is taking care of a garden, and has a personal trainer and is working out on a regular basis He is always busy which is great for him. He also has structure. They take him on day trips and excursions. Our son is enjoying life and is happy.
We are so thankful we have found Steve and the Manor of Hope. We were at the end of a very dark path and didn’t know where to turn. Our son’s life is now full, and he is growing and maturing every day. He is respectful towards us and is learning boundaries. All things we couldn’t have achieved when he was home. He needs the Manor of Hope and he is also grateful for his time there.

I avoided group therapy for so long, but I am so glad I did. It was a safe place for me to go when I really wanted to isolate. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to relate to others, but I always found some connection that helped me not feel so alone. Marisela is the best! She has a great sense of humor, is so supportive, and there is no fake or toxic positivity with her. Mari also helped connect us with resources, which can feel so daunting when you are in the thick of it. If you are considering group, do it!

I participated in both PHP and IOP. I did PHP with Juliana as my main therapist and I cannot recommend her enough. She was so caring and insightful and truly made my time in group therapy a very enjoyable time.
I graduated from PHP to IOP with Alexis and it has been such an uplifting experience so far. She does a great job commanding the group and making sure every voice is heard.
Highly recommend High Focus Centers for both PHP and IOP.

Richi, Inez, Sam, Danny, and Rachel were absolutely incredible. They made my experience feel like a breeze. But most of all I want to acknowledge my nurse Olivia. She was there for me during my blood pressure monitoring a week before my delivery, my induction, epidural, and delivery. She’s such a sweet and caring nurse. She made me feel so safe and comfortable, she even visited me and the baby in post partum. I’m so thankful that a person like Olivia was there to greet my baby boy into the world. 10/10 Would go back again.

Wasted five hours to say my vitals don't meet protocol what does that mean, you are all evil people it's absolutely disgusting makes me sick , also they turned away 3 other women but all the men made it in hmmm

I can't say enough terrible things about the way this place handles admissions. I was supposedly admission admitted showed up on time. got my little green bracelet. did it indicated I always admitted? took my blood pressure which was high as usual which is also on record. nurse Karen, honestly that's her name. well deserved hostily asking me some questions about a medical condition had me partially stripped made some negative comments and we're off so I spent hours there only essentially be kicked out because I'm too complicated. I'm supposed to get more treatment before I could come back but then there was no coming back. basically his friend who brought me an hour kind of herded to the door a second later I had her go back to pick up the 20 pages they saw of the stuff that I filled out. it had already been shredded. there was no coming back for me. it is humiliating devastating abusive. awful experience
these people do well to obliterate the health care part of Health Care 😭

Update: the office manager worked with me and assigned me a new therapist who I've been with for almost a year now. I also was able to get a new psychiatrist who listened to my concerns and was able to prescribe me the proper medication. He listened to why I was smoking medical Marijuana and I stopped smoking once he put me on the right meds. I haven't smoked in almost two years. You just need the right doctors ☺️

I went to the agency called Campaign for Working Families. They help people file taxes. They serve people who are poor, old, disabled & more. Jasmine, one of their staff, made my experience so easy. The person who greeted me at the beginning was also wonderful.
