The staff & program could not have bèen better place to stat my recovery. I just left my home group ,the 6:15 attitude adjustment in Upland. I knew I wasn't going to talk to him again really if you're going to be a therapist you can't tell someone that what there saying isn't true. I didn't respect that about that man because I been through a lot I wonder why he is a therapist there. Much love and respect to cedar House may the Lord Jesus Christ and God Almighty help every brother and sister to get clean and stay on the right track.Because I left on the first day but I'm doing great thank God I really appreciate the whole staff just when I was telling my testimony he took it likely on what I was saying I been through a lot of trauma and I will not tell James my testimony anymore while I was in the program.Because I talk to a therapist before and they were way better than he was. He doesn't even know me but he made it seem like I was lying about what happened to me in my pass.And it seemed like he had selective hearing like I was talking to myself. I think they need to replace that man and I pray that financially that cedar House stays open for many more years to come. I'm 35 years old I can't program with other man that are focused on the same things of the passed it's more reasons why I left and the programing we were talking about sex I think we should be programing talking recovery and making right decisions and staying away from people of our pass.they could had programs about that when I left I only went to one program that was talking about sex I'm just talking about what I seen on the first program. but to each its on they have to make some things up to make sure everyone is busy if you stay busy in there is no idol time so I understand.im focused on spirituality and .starting this automotive course at chaffey in the summer I'm already signed up and getting in Na Aa meetings I want this better sober life with or without a program God bless you all. Whenever I’m sick or not feeling well, they always step in right away and make sure I’m taken care of. It never feels like I’m just another patient to them. They genuinely check on me, help me through it, and make sure I’m as comfortable as possible. All of the nurses work together in such a kind and supportive way, and because of that, I always feel really welcomed when I walk in. The group sessions are gentle and inviting, to let clients know that they are in capable hands and an accepting environment. The therapy sessions dive deep into the mental health issues that lead to addiction. The homey atmosphere (as opposed to a hospital setting) makes the experience both realistic and comforting. The way it's ran shows clients that they can live a normal, sober life. Angela is especially good at her job and has years of wisdom and experience within treatment. You won’t be magically cured after leaving here tho, what you put in is what u get out of it. Tanner Fair 11 months ago If you’re really serious about changing your life around then this place is where you need to be. You can bring your pets and they accept couples. The staff here are all amazing and willing to help whenever you ask for help. The chefs: Tiffany and Mike really get down and make some really delicious meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. The nurses Michelle and Amy make sure you take your meds whenever needed and also make check in with you every morning to see if your having withdrawal symptoms such as night terrors, using dreams, tremors, anxiety, depression, all that stuff that you don’t want to feel when you’re withdrawing and they make sure you are prescribed the right meds to prevent all those things. The case workers Alejandra and Angela work above and beyond to make sure everything you need is taken care of. Angela is also the educator and teaches some really informative group classes that help you understand your disease. And the rest of the staff are all amazing and I’m really going to miss all of you! Brittany and Martha and one other person in front desk that I don’t remember the name of was very helpful since first day. Taline the nurse who dispenses the medication was very nice and helpful same with Bianca (Im sure that’s her name but a part of me feels like her name might be different and I accidentally mixed the name up so I’m leaving this note up just in case I got the name wrong but she’s on the computer in the first door left when you enter in the hallways) was also very nice and attentive and helpful and I think is the manager of the entire place and she helps me transfer to my new place by coordinating everything. The doctor with glasses is very chill and very fun to have conversations with and helped me find my correct dose of medication. And Angela who isn’t my counselor but has lots of candy would give me lots of candy especially airheads she is the candy lady. My first counselor was Gloria who was very kind and listened very well in sessions and second counselor I forgot name of never showed up and I think got fired and was a weird woman and third counselor I forgot name of was a cool guy and listened very well.
