This place has been a god send to my life

I went here for 60 days in 2017 and it was an amazing experience, not to mention it was half price compared to all the other places I checked out. The counselors and people there truly care about you and offer a ton of applicable advice, steps, and healing. I walked away with a closer relationship with God and haven't touched alcohol since. I definitely recommend this place! Ps. The reason not many people leave reviews on a place like this is bc its a very personal experience and not everyone likes to talk about that and share their personal struggles with everyone out there. Maybe keep that in mind.

My bad

My son has been recovering from a very bad TBI that happened 5 years ago. While he navigates that disability, his reliance on substance abuse became a major issue. Buckeye Recovery and its staff gave him and our family hope for the first time in a long time that he can manage and thrive. I can call staff anytime and there is a very familial feel to there program.

Ohio house and buckeye recovery have been an extremely vital part in my sobriety. They have taught me how to grow up, how to be responsible, and how to take responsibility for my actions. The director of operations for the Ohio house, Cory, has been such a pivotal factor in my recovery from drugs and alcohol. The amount of effort and time that man puts into helping others is nothing short of astounding. He is a perfect example and representation of how working the 12 steps of AA can successfully change your life forever. Without the support of buckeye recovery and the Ohio house, there is no doubt in my mind that I would still be a lost soul unable to face life sober. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity they have given me; I am one of the lucky ones as I have been given a second chance at life.

Back in 2016–2017, I was at one of the lowest points in my life getting high, homeless, and completely lost. I didn’t see a way out until I found New Existence Recovery. The program, and the people behind it, especially Dylan and his team, showed me something I hadn’t felt in a long time: hope. They didn’t just treat addiction; they treated me like a person with compassion, understanding, and genuine care. The staff goes above and beyond to meet you where you are and guide you toward who you’re meant to be. They taught me structure, accountability, and how to rebuild my life one honest step at a time. Even years later, I can honestly say New Existence Recovery changed everything for me. I’m standing on solid ground today because of the foundation they helped me build. I’ve been through other programs, but none matched the heart, professionalism, and family atmosphere that this one has. If you or someone you love is struggling and needs real help not just a bed and a few therapy sessions this is the place. New Existence Recovery doesn’t just help you get clean; they help you live again.

My experience at New Existence Detox was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, cared for, and treated with genuine compassion. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and safe throughout the entire process. The environment was calming and structured, which really helped me focus on my recovery. I came to deal with Orange County Recovery as a parent of a child. The staff at Orange County are the best. They provided me with the best advises and felt like I am dealing with family who really care. They are available 24x7 to answer my questions and address my concerns and help me every step of the way and provide excellent professional advises on how to help my child through recovery. When I was in both my Master's and Bachelor's programs we were taught the importance and benefits of evaluating treatment. Working at Orange County Recovery is unique especially in that we use a program called FIT, Feedback Informed Treatment. This is the only rehab I have ever seen take an honest look at what we are doing right and wrong so that we can provide honest and appropriate treatment for each individual client. We are not afraid to take an honest look at ourselves and let the clients play an even bigger role in their recovery. How refreshing!

Beach City is an unmatched detox experience. The staff, environment and attention to recovery overall, not just detox, makes it the perfect place to begin the journey of recovery. The team there applies a personal yet professional touch of understanding that makes you feel whole again. When you come to detox, you're broken, lost, confused and lacking spiritual health. Slowly, the team heals you to the point where you're ready to make the next step in recovery. They talk to you about what you need, want and above all how to achieve sobriety and spiritual health. I'd recommend anyone struggling go there to not only detox, but to begin the journey of recovery overall.

Ive been here more then any human should and i have done residential twice accumulating alot of time and becoming good friends with the staff. This place has saved my life a few times. No matter the tension that i had against someone who works there is gone i learned he was trying to help....

Out of plenty of the detox's I've been to this is far my favorite. The staff are so amazing they are so kind and helpful. The operations manager also helps with anything and everything so you can feel comfortable. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this detox to my friends.

The team at R&R is unmatched. Prior to attending, I had been to three other facilities by my early 20s. I was ready to give up. Hopeless and after a weeks long hospital stay with psychosis, I made the trip to California. Steven, Ariel, Casey, Lucas, Mama Dukes (Judy) and all the support techs who helped me navigate those early days were amazing. My case manager, Cliff guided me through completing legal paperwork and made sure I covered my bases on that end. We met for check-ins, he made sure I had therapy sessions, and tracked my progress along with resolving any issues I had. He guided me towards progress, for example, personally taking me to volunteer at a soup kitchen, so I stayed busy while looking for a job. Or when he took me rock climbing when I was in my early days and quite down on life. Andy and Dave made groups something to look forward to, not dread. I can count on those guys for anything and am in touch with them long after my stay. Anthony was also a great help in navigating the complexities regarding insurance, etc. Art therapy class with Lily helped me decompress and express myself in ways I would not have imagined. Paul, our nutritionist, guided me on proper nutrition and through foods to improve my overall physical and mental health. Also, having a gym membership and accommodations to get there helped me put my health first. Not to mention the numerous outings, from an Anaheim Ducks hockey game, to the Long Beach Grand Prix, to beach volleyball, we had a blast as a group. The smaller size of the facility made it easy to form connections and bond with other clients. If any issues ever came up, staff was quick to mediate the situation and put us back on track better than before. It wasn’t always easy, and things didn’t always go as I had planned, but looking back, the team, from support techs, counselors, and staff provided every step of care from their years long experiences. From detox, to inpatient, to IOP, to sober living, R&R helped me in a way I could not have helped myself. I can proudly say I am 13 months sober after graduating from the R&R program in May of 2025. I could write many pages about my experience at R&R, but to put it simply, as someone who has been through it elsewhere, R&R is the best in the game. Thank you, to everyone at R&R for helping me turn my life around. I couldn’t have done it without your help.

My first experience with R&R was when the staff picked me up from a hotel in Lancaster, California hundreds of miles away, when I was drunk, high, and at rock bottom. Immediately I saw the compassion and level of care that I would have the pleasure to experience over several months. I went through their entire program, starting in detox and then to sober living, it was the best decision i've made in my entire life. The compassionate and caring sessions I had with Dave, Cliff, and Andrew gave me insight to what was happening in my life and gave me the tools I needed to support myself in the future. I also had the pleasure to live with 10 fantanstic individuals with the singular goal of being sober. I could write paragraphs on the benefits of coming here but i'll keep it simple, they truly saved my life and i'm still sober. I thank god that I came into contact with R&R, and I pray they have the opportunity to help you too.

If i could sum up my experience at this program it would be, life changing. The way you build relationships with staff, your counselors and therapist is unlike any other recovery i’ve been to. I was there a little under 6 months and I now have a new family. The support and love they have for clients is amazing. They truly care about you, your family, and your goals you set to achieve. I highly recommend anyone who’s looking to maintain sobriety to stay here and complete the program. It saved my life.

Pacific breeze recovery, I could say so much about this place, it has literally changed my whole out look on life. When you come to detox there are a lot of things that bring you down mentally and physically. This place makes sure that you are 100 percent taken care of from the moment you step foot in front of them. I was greeted with a hug from the airport. My detox wasn’t so bad due to the doctor and the vibe of the workers and owners. I would recommend this place to anyone who has hit their rock bottom and ready for a change!
