Wish me luck Luis 3 months ago I’ve been a patient at Aegis Treatment Centers for a while now, and I really want to give a heartfelt thank you to the nurses there. Whenever I’m sick or not feeling well, they always step in right away and make sure I’m taken care of. It never feels like I’m just another patient to them. They genuinely check on me, help me through it, and make sure I’m as comfortable as possible. All of the nurses work together in such a kind and supportive way, and because of that, I always feel really welcomed when I walk in. Even on rough days, I know I’m going to be met with patience, understanding, and care instead of stress or judgment. It’s honestly a comforting place to go when I need help, and I’m really grateful for how consistently compassionate and attentive the nurses are. I love all the field trips we went with and I still have all the pictures we took. We had alot of fun events and holidays to celebrate. My favorite holiday we celebrated was Fathers Day and Christmas. I made so many memories and friends there. I will never forget them all. My case manager was Steven. They gave me a ride home every Wednesday and Thursdays. They helped me look for jobs and basic needs. They also served daily medication for us to take. All the people there felt like a family to me. I will never forget the first day I joined Tay. I transfered when I was 26. Went to Tay when I was around 19. I loved everyone. I will come back one day. Daja Williams 1 month ago Taline is my favorite, she's the best dispensing nurse I've ever had Manny Gutierrez 1 month ago I transferred to Aegis treatment center in Pomona starting around beginning of December after starting on methadone in Italy when I lived there for a while but between leaving Italy and starting at aegis there was a couple days break from treatment till I went to aegis, and now after almost a year at September I’m transferring to another state since I move around and the treatment aegis provided has been very helpful and I been clean off all substances since the first day I transferred to aegis and I think two days prior to the first day I went to aegis was the first first day I was clean and aegis clinic helped me maintain sobriety ever since which means I been clean since beginning of December and still clean and sober. Brittany and Martha and one other person in front desk that I don’t remember the name of was very helpful since first day. Taline the nurse who dispenses the medication was very nice and helpful same with Bianca (Im sure that’s her name but a part of me feels like her name might be different and I accidentally mixed the name up so I’m leaving this note up just in case I got the name wrong but she’s on the computer in the first door left when you enter in the hallways) was also very nice and attentive and helpful and I think is the manager of the entire place and she helps me transfer to my new place by coordinating everything. The doctor with glasses is very chill and very fun to have conversations with and helped me find my correct dose of medication. And Angela who isn’t my counselor but has lots of candy would give me lots of candy especially airheads she is the candy lady. My first counselor was Gloria who was very kind and listened very well in sessions and second counselor I forgot name of never showed up and I think got fired and was a weird woman and third counselor I forgot name of was a cool guy and listened very well. I didn't respect that about that man because I been through a lot I wonder why he is a therapist there. He doesn't even know me but he made it seem like I was lying about what happened to me in my pass.And it seemed like he had selective hearing like I was talking to myself. I think they need to replace that man and I pray that financially that cedar House stays open for many more years to come. I'm 35 years old I can't program with other man that are focused on the same things of the passed it's more reasons why I left and the programing we were talking about sex I think we should be programing talking recovery and making right decisions and staying away from people of our pass.they could had programs about that when I left I only went to one program that was talking about sex I'm just talking about what I seen on the first program. but to each its on they have to make some things up to make sure everyone is busy if you stay busy in there is no idol time so I understand.im focused on spirituality and .starting this automotive course at chaffey in the summer I'm already signed up and getting in Na Aa meetings I want this better sober life with or without a program God bless you all. The group sessions are gentle and inviting, to let clients know that they are in capable hands and an accepting environment. The therapy sessions dive deep into the mental health issues that lead to addiction. The staff is professional when they need to be, but also speak to clients like they are real people and not just another patient. The homey atmosphere (as opposed to a hospital setting) makes the experience both realistic and comforting. The way it's ran shows clients that they can live a normal, sober life. It impacts their recovery journey by letting clients set attainable daily and long-term goals. As a client I felt like they went above and beyond to help me. I really felt supported and inspired by the staff (many of them are in recovery themselves), especially Jorge. He always made sure we had a meeting to go to, took us to church (optional) and does a great job with the Alumni meetings on the last Monday of each month along with a million other things. From the beginning, Jessica displayed an outstanding level of professionalism while also being warm, approachable, and compassionate. One of the things my sister appreciated most was how thoroughly Jessica explained everything. She never simply did something without making sure my sister understood what was happening. She took the time to answer questions, explain procedures, provide helpful information, and make sure my sister felt comfortable and informed. Jessica was also extremely gentle and attentive. She paid attention to the little things and made my sister feel like her concerns mattered. Her interactions with the baby were equally heartwarming. She handled the baby with such tenderness and care, and it was clear that she genuinely loved what she did.
